7 Ways to Make Money Online

Welcome to part two of “7 Ways to Make Money Online”. Glad you’ve made it this far! Here is our continued list of make money online opportunities…

#5 Get Paid to Write…

Writing is one of the easiest ways to make money online; with the massive growth of the internet there’s never been more demand on the internet for writers. Websites are always in need of new content and they’re happy to pay for it. The best way to find at-home writing work is to become a member at some of the many freelance websites and forums specializing in this type of work.

Not only can you find short term work, but if you do well and impress your employer a small gig can often turn into long term or even permanent employment.

Another option is to submit your content to websites that offer revenue-sharing opportunities. They will provide you with the platform to host your writing on, and in return for your work, they’ll split any ad revenue that your articles generate.

With the revenue sharing option you get more leeway in the kind of content you can write and will earn a percentage (approx. 40-50%) of the ad revenue that your articles generate.

As a traditional freelance writer, you’ll bid on jobs and get paid a predetermined amount for a specific amount of work. Click here for our complete list of Writing Job Websites.

#6 Micro Jobs…

Many companies are outsourcing simple tasks that, for one reason or another, can’t be done by a computer. These “micro jobs” can range from specialized tasks to basic actions that a computer simply can’t handle, such as appropriately labeling photographs for example.

There are many routes that you can take with this type of work. If you have a skill set for specific tasks such as web-design then you don’t have to focus on just the basic jobs. There have been many huge design projects that have been done through the use of the micro job model.

Due to their success, there are quite a few websites that offer this type of work. Everything from answering a question to submitting a design, or to helping name a new product or website.

#7 Get Paid to Take Stock Photos…

You can make money selling simple everyday photos. You don’t have to be an artist or an expert photographer to make this work. People need stock photos for their blogs, websites, presentations, and much more. Often times it’s the most basic things that they’re looking for. When someone purchases your photo you get paid a commission, it’s as simple as that.

Here’s a list of sites where you can get started: Fotolia.com, ShutterStock, and iStockphoto.

We hope that you’ve found this list of make money online ideas helpful, feel free to leave comments below and share this resource with those who may need it.

  • I was wondering if there’s any companies that you know of that do product testing such as the vegan trend in beauty products especially. I’m a former model, and work in the legal field but writing and testing the newest beauty product has always been something that I’ve done on the side in fact before everyone knew of YouTube I had my own channel which each week I’d take suggestions for products, give makeup tips from my previous modeling experience, and so forth but my actual job doesn’t allow for me to be so transparent with my identity (for good reason). But I have the knowledge, I love to write, I also have used products for various other things which turned out to work better for a lot of people. I have a huge backlog of every subscription box ever made with nothing but product I’ve tried and love can’t live without or its just junk a waste of people’s money it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do and I’d love to share my information a little bit more discreetly than an instagram account or YouTube channel. I can use my name that isn’t an issue but with my image constantly out on the internet it could (a slight possibility but hasn’t happened still don’t want to jeopardize my work). I have 2 daughters one of which owns her own modeling agency and she can always be the face of my reviews and advice (she just doesn’t have the time to do it herself with her own business).

I have so much information on the newest products (even products for men, my husband is brutally honest about something I have him try) and there’s so much good product out there that doesn’t cost La Meir prices! All women can now afford to take care of their skin, hair, and even use makeup that doesn’t make them look like a glowing orange without the step price tags but with how advertising is (especially online if you’re not using that $600 face cream then you might as well not use one at all, or the complete opposite this is more affordable than that cup of coffee you get every morning and aren’t you worth it, type advertising) it has everyone questioning now is the products I’m using actually doing harm or help. And if you are into the vegan, bunny certified products don’t think you have to spend next months rent for a high quality one that does more than that high end product, but if high end is what you want I also have used and have reviews for all of the newest high end products as well.

I just don’t know what platform I can give the blunt honest truth about products because I don’t represent any brands I either use my own money, some companies still remember me from the former modeling days and send me these products but they own my review and reword it (they sometimes change a negative into a positive and I have real issue with that so those companies I’ve cut ties with). I can take questions about any product, I can do a weekly product review anything is possible I just feel I have so much vital information and can save so much money for people who use any facial product, (including soaps, toners, serums) teeth whitening products, makeup products, and any type of hair product. I’ve had everything from 6ft extensions, thick hair, thin hair (after the extensions were removed) color treated hair, damaged hair, coarse and crinkly curly hair, straight hair, and any other type of hair in between. I feel my ethnicity helps me with a very large group of people considering I’m Armenian in Russian with a few others in between LOL. So I can get really dark in the summer and really fair in the winter. I’ve actually been asked if I was just about every race possible at times which of course caused me to switch what type of product (s) I use. So, I do feel I have information that can benefit a lot of people along with pro tips and money saving tips.

I’d just like a website or some type of resource to provide that information and if I could get paid from it (not looking to become the billionaire next door just a little extra cash for savings and online stock trading).

If you have any information or know of any company that is interested in what I have to offer I’d be internally grateful for the advice. I thought I was doing just that with one of these fake companies that never even send the product.. at least I already have all the products and always willing to try other products.

Not sure if I should leave my email or not so I’ll leave my shopping email account (the one listed above is my real email but I’d rather unless there’s an actual job/company interested ASAP to use my shopping email account for any correspondence. I probably check that account more anyway lol;)

Thank you for writing such an informative post. I actually found your site after going rounds with one of the fake accounts I was trying to find their host company and ran across this email which is very informative. I know I go into a little bit of a detailed question but I do this so I don’t have to do it 100x over a lot has been saved from the beginning of my interest in finding some company or website that is wanting the type of information I have. Oh, and I’ve also tried all those new hair styling tools I can tell you exactly what one is worth every penny and which one I wouldn’t take if given to me for free. And again considering that I’ve bought 99% of these items people can feel that I’m giving my 100% opinion and not getting paid by any one company to promote that line.

Thanks for any advice and sorry for the long read but it’s just easier to know everything to get me to the right place!!

email (s) are [email protected] or [email protected] thanks again!!
  • Hi, hope, I can get such informative emails in coming days.....
  • Forgot rating...stock photo review....please attach.
  • Thanks for 7 and giving us the reality check. Stock photos, I will do some but my other friend spent 20 years in Berlin, Germany as a photographer. To make stock photo work...you need a strategy. Berlin has a massive stock in an area and is a resource for publishers, art houses, advertisers, etc. My stock is limited to scenes and such. You might have some really great photo...that do not fit in any group but are marketable. Another friend, who passed, left a huge stock of black and white scenic photos but didn't have market savvy and didn't like to sell. Literally tons of negatives and prints. His prints market are difficult to judge and will take lots of time to start and build a market. Some businesses require too much work...but surprises...suddenly you are making a living or a whole lot of money. Remember the first real wealth is health, don't be the richest person in the hospital.
  • I felt the review was helpful as a sort of " grounding experience", reminding me to attend to facts that can be Proven. Anyone can write something that will excite you when the topic is making money. I am still interested in the 'Penny Stock" market because I have been able to make $740 off of a $62 investment just holding a position from mid Friday morning until about 2pm the following Monday. I have had a couple of experiences like that so my interest is naturally peaked.

Still, selling me on a program for several thousand dollars makes me really want to investigate first.

Interestingly, perhaps ironically, I happen to live in Baltimore- the home of Agora Financial. I think I will make a surprise visit there to see just what is up.

I also felt you did a great job of providing alternative solutions for people who need to make money from home. There are so many scams out there. When you combine that with the desperation of people who are strugglng financially, the stage is set for

the desperate to fall right into deep waters, be they warm or cold.

As a final comment, I would encourage people to do their own 'due diligence' and to make decisions calmly and never investing anything that they cannot afford to lose. There is a lot of volatility in this particular sector of things. The highs can be addictively thrilling but the lows can come in the blink of an eye and wash your investments away like someone whipping through white water rapids without a life jacket.

I, for one, will most assuredly be looking into the sites you recommended as legitimate.

Thanks so much for your critique of Agora and the Penny Stock market!
    • Hello sir! I don't kno if you'll ever see this, so I won't go too in depth, but I was hoping I could chat with you about doing penny stocks, and you're means of investing into the market place? I'm kinda paranoid about putting my email on here, but will if you're game to chat, I can. Lemme kno
  • This is is simple but thorough presentation of a few ways to get started working online. I found it very informative and well written.
  • There’s a lot of content that seems worthwhile checking out. I appreciate the time spent in producing what seems like a very complete listing of potential online work. I will give an update at a later date.
  • Thanks for sharing information on 7 ways to make income. Going to use this information on research of some of companies to try out. Again thank you so much and I hope more people actually take some of these 7 ways list to make income to pass it on to others who are in need of financial freedom. May God bless you and keep you always.
  • THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU A lot of people are looking for a ATM. You know, you push a few buttons and a stack of money comes out. I really appreciate that you are letting us down gently. I wish I could find an ATM type job but I know that you have to work to get paid. Thanks for the reality check and also for compiling all this useful information. You ROCK!
  • This is exactly the information I needed. The links to different companies in each area along with additional links of specific how-to's is something I've never seen in anything I've read about achieving an income online. I have strengths in all seven areas which is very empowering to me. The commonality I share with so many others who have provided feedback here is the overwhelming NEED for an income or a supplemental income - I am a single mother living in the most expensive state in our nation. I'm drowning in debt and I'm beside myself as I'm well-educated with a wealth of life experience and a strong resume. But more importantly, I'm smart. And I'm resourceful. And now I have the tools to use the internet to reposition myself financially. Immense gratitude to you for this great article.
