Advertising Profits From Home

Anthony Morrison has grown to be a familiar face on late night TV, pitching his books and seminar events on nightly infomercials. The focus of Anthony Morrison’s products is to teach people ways to make money from home. In this particular book he focuses on internet marketing and offers people the chance to become an affiliate.

Affiliate marketing is a simple concept to explain but a difficult business to master. Essentially, it’s a method of sales that allows vendors to recruit outside parties called affiliates to help promote their products. In return for their participation, these affiliates earn a percentage of sales made from their referrals.

  • I bought the introductory kit, but did so by purchasing a used one off of e-bay. That way, it wasn't done through the company, so they have NONE of my info, and hence there was no risk involved of my CC being charged left and right. If you want to purchase something like this (home based business opportunity intro package) ALWAYS do so through e-bay or amazon. There is NO risk involved that way. No high pressured sales calls at all hours of the night. Nothing. Well, needless to say , the material in the introductory package is a joke! Morrison is a low life scammer who is the modern day Carlton Sheets/Russ Dalbey now that they have been shut down. One day, Anthony Morrison will be shut down and some new scammer will take his place.
  • I'm glad I checked this out. I figured it was a scam, but I thought I'd check it out anyway. When times are tough, they always seem to come out with these get rich quick schemes. I'd like to thank everyone.
  • did any of you read the book?
  • Well, I watched the presentation. I waivered a bit then made the call. After the third 'opportunity' to purchase MORE tools of the trade, I knew ... scam ... I hung up. But they already had my credit card #. Fortunately they only charged me $39.00. I have not opened the box and meant to return to sender today and did not do so. I see the shipping address is from Keaney, MO. If one of you has another address, more info, etc. that you can share with me I would appreciate your input. I know the Texas Attorney General's office will help run these scavenger's down and investigate their business ethics! Any other State's ATGO should do the same so I hope to report them to several other State ATGO's. The BBB should help but I read someone comment that the BBB did not care. ** All I can say is WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER. I certainly have made my last mistake on an opportunity of a lifetime!! Shame on Me!
  • Hello! I am a writer for a national publication and I want to hear about YOUR experiences with Anthony Morrison, his products or his seminars. I can be reached at [email protected]. Your help with this story is greatly appreciated.
    • yes i bought his books and no i can't figure out how to make money without breaking the bank he is a scam can't get no reply from him or anyone on the site
    • I went to the presentation, which was very *well*staffed* meaning a large number of staff/attendee ratio - there were 25 of us and almost 15 of them. the presentation was very energetic, and I happened to see exactly what they were talking about right away.

I have to wonder why the staff were not at home or in their offices making $70 a minute (one site) or more.

regrettably, I am very conservative about money - it took me a month to decide on a $13,000 car, and so an instant decision to plunk down $2000 or $3000 doesn't work for me.

the sales pressure was intense, and the box lunch served was chintzy in the extreme. it was a learning experience, and if I had it to do all over again, I would not have spent the time. notice I did not say "wasted the time" because I did learn something.
  • this program works but it takes a lot of hard work. you have to figure out Search Engine Optimization SEO which is very difficult and also learn how to create and publish websites with advertisements. getting website traffic is the most difficult part. i was also ransacked by the salespeople and i even email anthony himself just to let me know and see if he wanted to help me personally. no reply but i'm sure he is busy, affiliate marketing is legit. but just as he says, it is NOT EASY! you have to learn a lot of new skills like web design, domain investing, SEO, and learn how to optimize your paid traffic ads. He tells you it's not easy because it's not. But I ordered the program and have made my money back plus a little bit. It takes a while and you have to be dedicated and able to learn from your mistakes (i.e. good ads vs. bad ads, that you make) but in the end, as traffic starts to slowly grow for me, the affiliate market commissions are finally, and i do say finally, starting to become automated.
  • Morrison learned how to say all of the right things that appeal to those seeking home-based income. His gift for gab and delivery to make it sound like he was the ONLY TRUE OFFER to make money without risking more than a small fee and if you listened to him you would in business making money almost immediately. The truth is, YOU must pioneer your own streams of income from your own innovation. Then if all of it fails, and you have no ethics or conscience, you go on the telemarketing circuit anhd lie your tale off to haul in the suckers, because those sharks know the statistics. They are: that few complain because they do not want people to know they got suckered. But if you want this and other sharks to get harpooned, then everywhere you go - WARN THE PUBLIC. The internet often goes viral with a single statement or video.

One last thing. If you are intent on trying other programs, because I well remember the hay day of the mail order multi-level marketing schemes where the promoters hauled in the bux at the top and then closed down shop only to spring up again under a new name with another fast selling product but no intent to pay the lower growing lines in the pyramid. If ANYONE does not say they OFFER NO COACHIHNG, then you had better back off, because all of the come-on offers to get your foot in the door for a small fee, they are designed to make the really big bux on the back-end. If you think I’m wrong, just keep count of all the flak that each promoter gets (like Morrison) that wants to sell you coaching so you can reap the harvest. It’s true across the board, whether they are selling making money in real estate, buying notes or whatever – they all want to sell you coaching that costs thousands of dollars. And if you will look closely at the print they display below their students (pause the picture with your remote) you will see it says “Not typical of every student’s earnings.” That means they purchased coaching and other materials, and more often than not, those so-called students are part of the promotion group putting up the funds to air the infomercial. To make money in this economy, write a book, or booklet about something you know and is appealing to a mass audience. If you don’t know anything worthwhile, you have the whole NET to research it. Then self publish it on your own copy machine until your sales reach a point you need a professional publishing house. Money well spent on a project of your own. Put your brain to work and plan out your own strategy. Forget the sharks and become the prime source. Have one success and move on to another. But if you fail on the first try, learn from it and keep moving ahead. You are not a failure unless you throw in the towel. Become what the sharks claim to be by their false deception – BECOME A REAL SUCCESS that you can be proud of.
  • Before you invest in this I implore you to do your research on Anthony Morrison. I was laid off from my job and my savings were running low. I bought a book late one night for $19.95 then spent another $3000.00 and 6 months later I have not made a cent despite working hard every day to do so. No matter how hard you try or how much you spend buying more training from this you will not make money. To date there have been no independent posts from real people who have made money only friends and relatives of Anthony Morrison stating they have without disclaimers and in contravention of FCC guidelines. I have since found out all the information is available for free on the Internet. My phone has not stopped ringing with them trying to sell me more. There are many independent websites that have investigated Anthony Morrison and many others where numerous people have told stories similar to mine. Please spend the time to check him out and hopefully this post will save one person what I have gone through.

    • They have stole from me ,too. the company name they used to extract money from my C.C. account was Ap Hlearn in Mo. phone number 1-866-520-7289. This Ap Hlearn is very deceiving because APHlearn is not assoc. with Anthony Morrison”s Co.; APHlearn is Am.Printing House for the Blind, Inc. How deceitful and misleading. This poor company has probely been through the ringer because of Anthony Morrison. He is probably stealing from thousands of people now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have an address or zip code so they can be reportrd to the BBB?
    • i bought the book after seeing an infomercial... well i am a single mother with only a part time job so 50.00 could've helped towards one of my bills.... but i tried starting reading the book multiple times, but it constantly beats around the bush!!! it never just tells you what to do!!!
    • do like i do when I want to try some thing out and not sure if its a scam or not use a pre-paid visa with just the money you need for it and the shipping after that they can not charge you there no money in it and its not tied to any account hope this helps
  • Of course this is another scam, but that isn't necessarily the saddest part. I watching my DVR and when it ended I found myself on of my local channels, NBC I think, and this scam was being shown. I was intrigued by the dudes funky hair, and the first thing that came into my head as I listened to his story about his father's failed investments, this dude is a slick willy! Maybe I know too many BSers, but he takes some of the cake. He had the sob story, the trust me I am rich story, and hey look at my old bank statement story...which led into, hey I am not saying you are going to get rich, but you will end up like my student 'whats her face' who made 3,000 that helped her pay off that surgery for her son tiny tim and his brain tumors. I nearly laughed out loud, and thought, holy moly, people must be buying this stuff if he can get a haircut like that!

My condolences to all of you who have been violated by this scam!!

    BTW....I am Anthony Morrison...Suckers!!!
    • I no more believe your Anthony Morrison than the man in the moon. And if you are, you should be ASHAMED of your self for offering a GUARANTEE of money back if not satisfied. Well I have been trying to get my money back and all I get is the freaking run around.

Heck, I would be ashamed of myself if I was a thief like YOU.
  • This guy is really good at giving a presentation! I was watching his latenight infomercial and he almost sucked usually cautious me in. My grandmothers old adage "if something sounds to good to be true, is usually is" proved once again to be right on the mark. The one thing nice about the internet age is that we can check out stuff like this online before buying. I am so sorry for anyone who got caught up in this, I totally understand because I know how it is to be in financial need. I have had a rough time financially of late and working thru it, that is why his latenight infomercial got my attention
    • Much like yourself, I am having a very rough time financially. I have been out of work for eight years, and I have been deemed chronically unemployable (whatever that means). I have been a victim and spent lots of money on programs that would enable me to make "tons" of money from home (on the internet). All I want to do is to be able to pay cash for what I buy (food, car maintenance, vet bills, etc. (can't even afford to take my cat to the vet)). I just saw this program on TV Land (they usually have infomercials from 6 - 8 AM daily). It was simply another heart breaker. Every program of this type that I participated in would not let me make the initial payment (even when it was $19.95 or less)via a money order (will not send a check - they could get my R/T and account numbers). They insisted on a credit or debit card. Now I realize why (the answer is quite obvious). I didn't even bother to try with this one. I also noticed that there are more negative postings about this product than there are positive postings. I think it is obvious why this is so. I guess this is simply another way of the rich getting richer, and the poor going broke, losing their homes, getting their things taken away from them, etc. (all I did after seeing this infomercial which busted my bubble once again is play with my cat and cry and promising that one day, hopefully soon, I will get her to a vet just so she can be checked out).
