Cash From Home is a new work from home training program being promoted by Mary Rogers, who claims that she can show people how to earn a living so profitable from their own home that they will be able to quit their day job.
According to the website, Mary Rogers is able to be her own boss, choosing the number of hours she works and when she will work them, and is able to make more than double her old salary, though that number isn’t published.
If customers are interested in following in her footsteps and becoming a “Search Engine Agent,” they are invited to purchase her training program to learn how to “link post” for just $97.
How Does It Work?
Link posting is another phrase used when discussing affiliate marketing, which is an independent business opportunity that requires people to partner with other companies for the purpose of posting links online for their goods and services. Cash From Home says that major American corporations “are desperate” for people to do this kind of work for them.
Whenever the links you post result in a sale of that product or service, you will be paid a commission. This commission is either a pre-determined percentage of the price of the item you have linked to or it can be a set dollar amount per each sale.
The website describes this as a “job opportunity” and says that those who sign up for this training program will be working “for” search engines and major companies, but this isn’t really accurate. People interested in this opportunity must understand that this is an independent business opportunity and as such, comes with the challenges of starting any business.
Is Cash From Home Legit?
It would be incredibly difficult to believe that this is a legitimate opportunity for many reasons, but perhaps the most important reason is that this website has copied the exact format and exact content of many, many other unethical work-at-home companies that have presented this exact same opportunity in the past, and disappeared as soon as they made their money and were revealed as an online scam.
These kinds of work-at-home scams are so successful because it is true that people can and do make large amounts of money from affiliate marketing and link posting, and people are excited to take advantage of this opportunity for themselves.
However, this company purposefully misrepresents the opportunity they are providing to users and attempts to sell them a training course under false pretenses. They behave as though “Search Engine Agent” is a job that companies will hire you to do and that you can assume that you will make $15 per link that you post, and that you can post a large number of links each day, making your expected income seem like a simple math equation about how many links you can post each day.
This claim is completely false. The reality is that getting people to find your link, click on it, and finalize their purchase is actually fairly difficult, and most people that work in affiliate marketing are lucky if they make a couple hundred dollars a month in extra spending money.
While this company may have some decent information to impart to users, this unethical presentation of this business opportunity should keep users away. There are many different free resources online about this kind of work that you should read before you should invest in this kind of program.
