ClaimYourGrantMoney.com

Claim Your Grant Money is a website which claims to help people find out whether or not they qualify for federal grant money. Grant money is awarded by the federal government to people who will use it in a way that benefits the public.

ClaimYourGrantMoney.com claims that their site provides “excellent referrals designed to find the right grants within minutes.” To begin the process, they simply ask for your name, phone number, home address and email address.

However, in their privacy policy they explicitly state that once you release this information to them, you are also giving them permission to provide this information to third parties in order to contact you with offers you may be interested in.

This release of information includes waiving your registration on the Do Not Call list, so you will begin receive phone calls from telemarketers.

In addition, they ask many questions about whether or not you are interested in furthering your education, getting better deals on insurance, and other subjects not relevant to applying for grant money.

If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, you will be contacted from further third party sources with offers and deals.

If you are interested in available grant money but not interested in having your private contact information sold or given to third parties, you can go online to www.Grants.gov, which is a free informational site provided by the Federal Government.

  • Also the numbers they call from are 213-066-8894, 202-618-9425, 261-305-7287 315-889-6245 they give you a code and another number to call. If they got real jobs it would be less headache for people if the like to set on the phone and talk then get a job doing that not scamming
  • I keep getting calls from so called gov. grant departments claiming to give me money for school or because I paid my taxes on time and all kinds of calls to receive 9,000 or 9,200 or 11,000 dollars. They want you to bye game cards or steam game cards you give them the number and they take it and hang up then call you back in a little bit and say the call was lost. Then they say you have to pay taxes to get your money so.you.need to get a gift card so you can pay taxes then you get your money. It's all a scam I love playing tricks on them. I will spell out stuff depending on how many numbers the card has like xbox has 25 a steam card has 15 numbers. So I tell them in those letters and numbers

I'm no fool ha so 1mn0f001ha I'm no fool ha is what it is some of the others not so nice but they keep calling
  • This site has been using my name and picture without my permission on Facebook. I have reported it and am trying to figure out how to have it take down.
  • Thank you! I had a feeling that disclosure to third parties would be required. I'm keeping your website for future reference.
  • Am tanika scott i just got approved for my grant but the number isnt going through so am just trying to see if this was a scam and why the papers haven't got back to me yet.
  • All I wanted was information on grants to start a woman owned business. I was careful to check NO when they kept asking if I wanted to go back to school. However, I have received at least seven calls in the last few days from online schools and colleges. This is a scam to get your phone number and they sell it to everybody they can!!
