Clicks 2 Cash

Clicks 2 Cash is another work at home program that is promoting link posting or, as they call it, being a “Search Engine Agent.” For the discounted price of $49.95, Clicks 2 Cash is offering you a link posting certification course, a one-on-one consultation with an “Internet Wealth Expert,” and a host of other services and bonuses.

They claim that after you complete your certification course, you are guaranteed a position as a Search Engine Agent, where you can earn $58,000 a year, working just one hour a day, five days a week. And if this claim makes you suspicious, that’s because it should.

What is the Deal with Clicks to Cash?

First, OpportunityChecker.com makes a point when reviewing every link posting opportunity to explain that “link posting” is not a job, it’s a form of internet marketing. There is no certification needed, and since it is an independent business opportunity, Clicks to Cash can neither guarantee you a job nor give you an estimate on how much you can expect to make.

Beyond their purposeful misrepresentation of this business opportunity, there are other issues you should be aware of as well. First, while the sales page says that the cost of the program is $49.95, a quick look at the terms and conditions shows that the real price is $99.00. In order to receive the price of $49.95, you must complete a mail in rebate where the difference will be refunded to you.

Second, their bonus one-on-one Internet Wealth Expert consultation is only good for 72 hours after you purchase the program. If you have not completed your consultation at that time, you no longer qualify for it.

Finally, Clicks to Cash is run by Search and Social Goldmine, who also run EZ Stay At Home Income and New Life Profits. Both of these programs have already received negative reviews from OpportunityChecker visitors, and both of which are notoriously difficult to receive refunds from. There’s no reason to believe that Clicks to Cash will be any better.

  • I decided to try this out, 5 minutes after I called for a refund, all I kept seeing was more ways for them to get money out of me. I am awaiting a phone call from a supervisor about refunding my money which I am told will take 7-10 days, and I was under advisement to wait 24 hours. I never fall for this type of scam, now I am sorry I fell for it this time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, IT IS A SCAM!
  • The phone number listed under the payment info form doesn't even ring to a Clicks to Cash or New Life Profit System co. Glad I did the research.
  • Definite scam. you get other people who act like they're part of the group you're signed up with & all want the same thing from you. Credit card numbers adding up to several thousands of dollars. drove me to bankruptcy court which is coming up this month. hope they see my side of the scam & sort it out for me. up to the attorneys now. beware of this scam! Kevin.
  • I received a link in an email from a friend that brought me to this clicks for cash site so i decided to look into it. the first thing i found was this site so i wont be trying this program. When I went into my other email account I had an email from myself that was also forwarded to many of my contacts, IT WAS ANOTHER LINK TO THEIR WEB PAGE! I instantly did a Norton scan and blocked this company.
  • Well! Thank God! I was gonna fall for it but decided to do homework before making a fool of myself. I just sent them my name, email & tel no. and got an instant reply comforting me that I could get one of the only two positions left! When I started to backout the prices went down & down ( really got a laugh out of it ) . My question is : If I want to practice such a job without going through these scammy sites cant I do it by myself ? & if yes , how ? does anybody know ?
  • I signed up Oct. 12, 2011. I did the studying requested to proceed. I got calls, but since I really didn't want a coach, they didn't really want to talk to me. In fact, one fellow said I might as well cancel & get a refund. I was getting set up and got stuck on another company for hosting. I mean stuck. After 2 months, I was able to contact that company to get 'unstuck' & a refund from them. They were trying to talk me into over $300 of things that would help me get started.

So, back to clicks to cash. I was excited I finally got free of the Brainhost.com site. Was ready to get my website domain setup when I decided to look into more info on the company. Read more then a couple of reviews, called them for my refund. Since there was a 60 refund period, I was 2 days past that and only got half. But I didn't care. Just wanted out. After them calling every week, trying to get me into the coaching and me refusing (& being stuck in another hosting site), I'd mention my problem, they were ready to hang up. No help. They acted like I was the flake. I'm done!
  • Okay so I decided to give it a try. I paid $49.95 and got started right away checking out the website and how it works. I had a few questions and I was doing this for some extra cash and not a permanent thing. Part of the initial set up was that you had to call and talk to an agent to get you started. So I called the 1-800 number and talked to this guy. He asked me why I was interested to see if it was for me or not.

Then the next question he asked puzzled me. He asked how I paid for my membership. I told him with my check card. He then asked me why I did not use a credit card. I was thinking to myself why the heck does it matter? So I told him that I had bad credit and I have no credit card. I was lying about not having a credit card. But that was not his business anyway. He replied,"That's not good. You need to fix your credit. That is very important for your future and things." Is he my father? What was up with the lecture?

He then told me that I would receive another phone call from another department to help me get set up. So in view of this phone call I was feeling not very secure in doing this so I decided I would cancel. I called 2 days later to cancel and get a refund. This would be the only good customer service I would receive from these guys. I got my money back quickly. Then 2 weeks later I receive a phone call from the department that was supposed to call me the next day. I was polite and explained to the guy that I had signed up for the membership but cancelled soon after. He said," So you joined but cancelled soon after? Who does that?" He said this very condescendingly. It was almost as if he was trying to make me look like a dumb ass. I was so shocked that he had the audacity to talk to me in that manner, that it took me a second to reply. I simply replied," Well obviously somebody did, bye!" I hung up.

These people just want your money. The guy gave me a lecture about my credit because it is safer for them to get money if they can charge a credit card and not check card. If you don't have money in your checking account the charge is declined. Credit cards won't do that unless the are maxed out. This second guy was a jerk because I didn't stick to their scam. Basically they are joke their customer service sucks!!!
    • Jennifer,

Did you have to wait the 60 day wait period to "try" it out or did they automatically give you your refund, and what number did you call?! This is nothing like they portray, and in the past three months this is the second scam I have come across! I normally turn these things down, but I had it recommended to me, and apparently it's worthless!
    • Hi Jennifer, I recently paid the $49.95 for this "at home business" crap. They had ALL kinds of hidden fees, VIP "special offers".. and I found out LATER the I had to pay for the use of a self-created domain name/website...I WANT OUT!!! What number did you call to have your money refunded to you? AAARRRGH!!!
  • I signed up and paid $49.95 AND $83.95 (this purchase was supposed to ASSURE me of success. I placed my order on a Sunday morning 10/16/11 and read some of the fine print AFTER they had all my credit card info. I thought "scam". So about 12 hours later I sent an e-mail and requested a refund. No refund until I speak to a customer service representative! I called and the woman tried to intimidate me and was rude (I was very kind). Anyway, I got the same response -- I must log in to my account and work 30 days to achieve my goal (ambiguous to say the least). Since my husband has been ill I have not been able to pursue this. ** MY SUGGESTION, I LIVE IN TX SO I WILL REPORT THEM TO THE TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AND TO THE BBB. (I just sent them a message to that affect.) I ASSUME THE OTHER STATES MENTIONED IN THE PAPER WORK (FLORIDA, CALIFORNIA, NEVADA) HAVE AN ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE. I ALSO PLAN TO REPORT THIS TO THEM. These scam artists must be stopped. I WILL get my money back. JPMorgan Chase Bank is good at accomplishing this. I won't be scammed again. Anybody know of any work at home business that is legitimate?
  • Thankfully i looked up the reviews first, I attempted to leave their page when i got a feeling it was going to be a scam and a pop up came up saying "before i leave i have been given the chance to get it for $19.95"

Which sounded a bit fairer to me so i googled it and im glad i did. Thanks for the reviews people, you saved me alot of trouble
  • Success -- I was just up-front with them...asked to speak to the Customer Service Supervisor - it took a few minutes, but I did speak to a supervisor. She offered me a different offer - and I indicated I did not want anything but a refund. I said this plan was not for me, and was not what I thought it would be. I should have my $49.94 refund in 2 to 3 days!

I agree -- do not get mad, just be precise and stick to the 'I want a refund' !

If all else fails...just mention that you will contact the FTC. :)
    • I did the same. I just stuck with wanting my refund. They refunded me half because I was 2 days past the deadline for refunds. It was worth getting my account closed. The gal kept trying to talk me into stuff & I just kept saying "all I want is my refund". When she said half I responded, figures. But I'm done! Minimal lose of $22.95. Fine with me. I'm done!
