Davison Inventions

Davison Inventions (www.InventionConcept.com) is a company that claims to take people’s ideas of new inventions, and turn them into reality. Davison says that it will take your idea through all the steps necessary to get your invention onto the market, from research and development to licensing to getting it onto the shelves.

Davison’s website claims that you have the ability to submit your idea to them knowing that you have full confidentiality and protection.  Once your idea is submitted, you will receive a one on one consultation about the viability of your idea, and whether or not you should begin the process to take your idea further.

Davison claims to have a variety of agreements available for potential clients.  Some services they offer will require you to pay one time, up front fees, while others will require you to commit to an agreement where Davison receives a percentage of royalties from your invention.

From Dream to Reality

“Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door.” From the time that man created fire, there has been an innate desire to come up with better ways of doing things. If you take a minute to look around you, at the things we take for granted every day, you’ll see the evidence of people’s invention dreams that came to life.

But, unlike the picture painted in Hollywood films, most of these inventions weren’t created in someone’s basement and then magically appeared on the market. Inventions must go through an intense process of research and development – is it truly an original invention? Is there someone else out there with a comparable idea or existing product? Is this invention already in the works?

At times an idea must be patented, which can be an expensive and complicated process. After that, an invention must often be licensed to another company or corporation to produce and distribute, because individuals usually lack the money necessary to fund the actual supply of product needed for the market.

Davison Inventions claims to help you through this long, arduous process, and to get your invention on the shelves of major retailers like Target, WalMart, Home Depot, and others.

Davison Inventions Success Stories?

Well, the truth is that when you research Davison Inventions, you are going to hear much more about heartbreak and failure than you will about success stories.  In fact, Davison was ordered to pay $26 million in restitution to former clients after they were sued by the Federal Trade Commission and lost.

The lawsuit determined that clients of Davison would often pay upwards of $10,000 toward costs and services, and that less than 1% of their clients ever saw a return higher than what they invested with Davison.

In addition, they were told to stop promoting themselves as being linked to major retailers. However, if you look at their current website it seems fairly obvious that they are walking a fine line in adhering to this court order.

Their landing page is covered in logos from major retailers, with information offering that inventions processed through Davison are sold at all of these stores. While there is no official statement saying they have a relationship with these companies, the implication is still there.

Finally, the lawsuit ordered that Davison refrain from acting as though their services are selective, since they were found to take anyone’s idea through the research and development process as long as they paid the fees. This is a bad sign for those looking to process an invention, because it means that you can’t trust Davison’s evaluation of your invention’s potential.  If they are simply willing to take everyone’s money who comes to them, it’s easy to see how 99+% of their customers never saw a profit from their dealings with Davison.

  • I read these comments and see most on here don't understand you have to pay to play. They actually explained to me a whole layout, and I read all terms and fine print. I had seen where I would have to pay a certain amount of money to get my idea off the ground. I have no problems with this as most on here probably don't understand business or the hassles that come with failure along the way. I see most just want a paycheck and a easy way to get paid,I have never in my life thought anything was easy unless you were a drug dealer living off mom and pop in the basement. The market is a hit and miss and a lot on here in the reviews sounds like they don't understand the market and what they have created that might be potential for something important. These people have to get paid as well, and all the money you invest is paying them and the products they are creating to help you get much more in return. I was actually told in the beginning that not all idea's are acceptable or doable. I asked this question cause I felt I didn't wanna be scammed as well, but considering after much resources and talking to different people at Davidson, they are straight forward about whether your idea will be a hit or not. I've had no problems with them, the more a person understands the economy and how it works along with what the customer wants and needs everyday, then most won't understand how business works. It's a big fish game and big players come to the table, the more you know the game the more you can increase in royalties or lose a lot more in the end.
    • So how is your invention going so far. Like you said nothing is for free. I’m taking my invention further with Davison inventory.
    • Sounds good but they were SUED BY THE FTC FOR 26 MILLION DOLLARS!!! WAKE UP!!! NO BUENO!!
  • I was just about to do the same thing. And this idea means the world to me as I'm a single parent of a awesome 7 year old boy. And this could be his future. God Davidson is terrible..thanks for letting people know.. And I too would like to know if there are any real good invention companies you could suggest... thanks again
    • I have a very good invention idea and I already paid them wasn't much but it was money that was suppose to go towards making sure nobody else is trying to invent the same thing I am. I'm suppose to meet with them at there home base in Pittsburgh on the 7 the of December anybody have any ideas on what I should do.
  • They are liars, they pump up your inventions and collect your money and never even show you a physical prototype. Don’t trust them with your inventions. They take your money and never deliver. Other words they suck. V coley
  • Talk about a bunch of bull. I can’t believe I fell for this scam. Don’t fall for it people all they are is a bunch of liars. They don’t give a crap about you or your idea they just want the money! Ahhhhhhh I can’t believe I fell for that...
  • Wow! This is SO sad for me to hear 😭 I’ve sent around $10,000. Any lawsuits going on already? Any lists I should get on?
  • Davidson is a scam and money hungry! I quit and let them keep the money I don't want any part of this company and the scam they bring! Very rude Mr Jason Zerbach who works for Davidson. I lost interest plus he would call me several times a day and today tried to give me attitude and so I hung up on him. I hate this dude and company and the products they produce is garage.
  • Hi my name is April Gorden, I have invested close to 500 dollars In Davison! Something told me to investigate this company this morning! I submitted my Invention idea with Davison! After reading that they're a fraud is there any way to get my money back?
  • This company took 20k of my money 3 years ago, painting a promising picture of getting my inventions created. As of now I am no closer than the day I sent them my money!
  • Please every one listen, this company is a scam, they have the best sales team to promise you the world, and once you stop giving them money they totally kick you to the curb. I spent 13,000 on my idea and once I went threw all the phases, they asked for another 100,000 to manufacture it. But they waited to the last phn. Call with all the promises in the world, to ask for it. Then I wanted to complain about Frank Vescio and how much of a con man he is, I left a message foe management to call me multiple

times and instead he actually calls me back calling me a liar and every thing else. I know they will contradict everything I say cause that's what they do to rip off every one they can, so please do take my word like everyone else who had to learn like me do not waist your money on this company.
  • Davison is a fraudulent invention company! They will gladly take your money! If you have a four year old child, give it to them to design and it will cost you nothing and you will get the same results! I paid them $13k for a new kettle, but got a picture of a kettle already for sale on Amazon. No trace of my design! They will just pocket your money! The US and UK government know this company is a scam. If you contact, interpole, UK home office, Scotland yard, US department of justice, Federal trade commission and never ever get a response! You realize just how corrupt the world is! Just keep your money as there is nothing in this world for redress! Davison has scammed people for decades and allowed to do so by governments!
    • Hey Anthony, could you possibly email me?
