Freedom Agency Online

Freedom Agency Online is a new work at home business opportunity that is making its way around the internet. The advertisements for this program use the standard advertorial template, in this case featuring the story of a work at home mom who’s using this system to make an incredible income from home.

These advertorials or “fake news sites” are incredibly deceptive and have been greatly abused by a variety of marketers. They’ve been used to sell everything from diet pills to a plethora of work at home opportunities like Freedom Agency Online.

The affiliates using these tools have gotten so lazy that many times they don’t even update their news template before promoting a new product. If you actually take the time to thoroughly go through one of these advertorial sites you’ll find a bunch of inaccuracies and red flags.

When you do get to the main sales page for Freedom Agency Online you’ll also find lots of red flags and tricky marketing tactics. In fact the first thing that you see on the website is a statement saying that work from home opportunities have been featured on FoxNews, MSNBC, USATODAY, ABC, and CNN.

This is a basic credibility building technique, notice how the statement doesn’t say that Freedom Agency Online has been featured on those sites, moreover it doesn’t say in what capacity or provide links to the details.

The next statement claims that within 5 minutes of getting the program you could be making up to $87 per hour. All with no prior experience or any kind of special skills, and more importantly that there’s only a limited number of spots available.

Again these types of statements are designed to appeal to your emotions and create a false sense of urgency, getting you to make a rash decision without doing your due diligence.

So is Freedom Agency Online a Scam or Legit?

It’s hard to say what the opportunity actually is since there are multiple sales pages using this name brand. One was claiming that the course will teach you how to make money posting links (affiliate marketing) and another claimed that the course was going to teach you how to profit from eBay wholesaling products.

While both methods are legitimate methods of building an online business they are definitely not as easy as the hyped sales pages make them seem. No one makes money online with no skills and within the first day of starting.

Before you buy any work at home product make sure to read the terms and conditions and understand their refund policies. In the case of Freedom Agency Online their policy states that you must actively try to the program for 20 days before being eligible for your 30 day refund.

  • I laughed upon reading others reviews because it was so true. Not laughing at the plight of others who did sign up. I was actually doing research on this company while I was on their site and every time I hit the google search the price would go down and you would get more information. They finally went down to 29.00. Such a deal!!! Anyway the scam is identical to the ones I've read here: Wow how blatant. We really are lucky for sites such as this one that help us discover the truth. Thanks!
  • I tried to get a refund by using their email support = don't do this they never answer. So I called them up after an hour of wait I hung up and tried the next day. After 20 minutes of waiting I finally got a hold of someone. I told them I wanted a refund due to the 30 day money back guarantee. They said their terms stated I had to keep the product for 20 days. I said that's fine I'll dispute this charge on my credit card. Next thing I know they are giving me a refund stating that people who dispute the credit card have been refunded twice which they tell me is fraud...like what are they doing. So needless to say you have to get up front with these people, if they won't refund go to your bank. 30 day money back means refund any day within 30 days of purchase. So glad I'm done with these scammers.
  • Check the dates. Notice, expiration date 2011. Now we are one year later in 2012. So, the rushdate is not even valuable.
    • Thank You. After reading the reviews I still have $99.00 in my pocket. It’s sick that these cons are breathing the same air as we are. What’s sad is that their own parents/family, who obviously know feel obligated not to contact authorities due to family ties. So therefore we are stuck with criminals that breathe in the same clean air as the good.

Do not underestimate the lack of soul these cons have.

Research the company by Googling them, or go onto forums and see what people are saying.(like this)

The only personal information a legitimate site will ever ask you for is your personal opinion, and perhaps your street address or PayPal address so they can make payments to you. But if a company ever asks you for your banking information or your credit card information, you can be sure it’s a scam, and one of the worst kinds! These sites only want access to your financial information so they can empty your accounts. These sites are actually looking to take your money, not to give you more.
  • I am so glad I am computer literate, and know how to do my research. I guess all those years of working for a mortgage company tought me something. I read it all and was tempted but I decided to look into it and sure enough seems like a scam. These people should be asahmed of themselves and why are they not in prison and shame on them for praying on people who are so hard up because our government sucks and has put us all in the position.
    • Thanks everyone for the posts! I was about to purchase the product and my husband told me be careful it might be a scam. He helped me to google for Pro Advantage 90 and Freedom Agency Online and found these posts. We saved $99 and learned a valuable lesson - NEVER TRUST SOMETHING TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. My husband told me if it's too easy to make money like what they advertised in Pro Advantage 90, US would have 0% unemployment rate. Don't trust them!
  • I have had the same thing sent to me after submitting Craig's List Listings. Word for Word..."Crashed into my jeep...blah blah blah....but now i am making....blah blah blah."
    • Thats funny cause I had someone respond to my craigs list posting that wanted to buy something. The next day I got an email from a meagan that said her cousin crashed her jeep and couldn't buy my item and said she was making money from a site and sent me the freedom agency listing. I figured it was a scam
  • I am so unsatisfied with Freedom Agency Online that I want everyone to know how low these people are for getting money for nothing. I called to get my money back and I have to wait twenty days! wtf? I shouldn't have to obey by there standards on whether or not I get my money back that I didn't even use? I purchased Freedom Agency for only 14.95. Then it led me to a thing called "Pro Advantage 90." Instead of posting links for other companies, you post links for your own business on your own website!! It's amazing how some companies can trick you into getting your money. I am so pissed off that I called the toll free number and I asked for the CEO of the company. If I don't get my money back after talking to him, it's going to hit the fan!
  • As a former energy executive now retired, I can't believe me, who always council people to be cautious and skeptical about any emails, phone calls and internet scams, I got sucked in because I saw the Freedom Agency on Fox News website assuming that I had found something 'legit'. I read their promo stuff and said, oh what the heck, I'm willing to buy a 'program' that teaches you how to sell things on eBay online and having them drop shipped. Then, came the 30 minute 'counseling' session, and a guy whose name is supposedly Steven, very smoothly began his pitch. He started by asking fairly innocent questions, like my level of education ( two BS degrees and an MBA), then, his questions became more and more personal about our financial situation, so I became more uneasy and was very cautious to say very little with no detail. Then he started the 'rush me to the altar' routine along with asking me for my debt situation, especially my 'credit card debt' levels and in particular the total of my 'credit limit' (which happens to be no debt with over a substantial level unused credit). At that point I told him I didn't even know who he was or what he was wanting me to commit to and he wanted all this personal information. So I told myself 'halt' and told him he was asking too many personal questions. I closed the by telling him he was asking too many personal type questions and why did he need to know about my 'credit card debt' (which again, I knew I had none), but didn't want to tell him that. He then starting using the sense of urgency, this opportunity won't be available long, etc. pressure tactic. So, I told 'Steve" I was going to stop this conversation and check out his company. Steve got quiet when I asked him his company's website. This Then is dawned on me they may didn't actually have a legitimate company website. I asked him his company's name (under which they were incorporated) so I could pursue my research his company. 'Steve" very reluctantly (I noticed) squeaked out that the 'parent' (actually he said the 'umbrella' company) was called "Power Seller College.com". I told I was going to check out 'Freedom Agency Online" and 'Power Seller College.com' and I'd call him back next Tuesday.

Well the first thing that came up on my Google search is this 'reviewopedia.com' site and 'wah-lah'. The testimony is consistent. This is a highly thought out SCAM by some 'pro' scam artist. I'm willing to give up my $79 as the cost of my 'lessons learned'. I should listen to my own preaching and should have 'Googled' them before I paid for the "quote-un-quote" "online training program". Shame on me. Tomorrow morning (Monday) I am calling my credit card company that I charged this to and get them to cancel the credit card number and re-issue the card with a new number, just to protect against any possibility of credit card fraud.

I add my embarrassing testimony to all the others. This is a huge SCAM and borders on FRAUD.
    • Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for your testimony. I am currently a stay at home mom with a 2 year old and a five month old and thought that the program would be something I could do while still taking care of my children and have since been completely disappointed and embarrassed that I wasted my money and time on it. I actually ordered the freedom advantage program about 7 months ago. I had the same run around that some others experienced and just gave up on getting a refund. The company justed called me this week saying that I was going to be interviewed for their select mentoring program and began asking me similar financial questions. The web address is cnss.com and you must log in with their login/password (cnss/start) and there was< again, little info and a lot of hot air. Im glad I read this review because the company has called everyday to get my financial info and "interview" me to select me for this program, which will only cost me valuable time that I would much rather be spending with my kids. If/when they call back I will be referencing your and others statements and hopefully they will get the message that I am not interested.
    • Thank you for sharing your lesson learned. Now I know to avoid this "company."
  • This is a fraudulent site, that will entice you to sign up based on lies. They will not take american express so that you can dispute the charges. The other credit card companies will not dispute the charge for you.

This companies premise is based on lies and deceit. They will ask you once you sign up for personal information about your financial status, and then reschedule your free consultation with another one, telling you they are looking for someone intelligent to be in their "special" training group. Then you will be asked for thousands though i did not get that far.

Upon starting step one....You will be told online to post fake adds on craigs list pretending to give away a free product, so that people who then respond to you will believe they are getting a free product, which is another lie. Then you will be instructed once you have lied to someone else, to refer then to freedom online so that they can make money by falsely selling that person a pretend internet business that does not exist.

I refused to do anything once i found this out, as i don't want to commit acts of fraud and be involved in lying to others.

Guess they will have to face their maker one day!!!!
  • in other words you are trying to take money from people who may need it to pay for food for there children or there med.for themselves great Christain work
  • this site is for sure a scam. don't give them your credit card information, they will just take your money and give you nothing in return.BEWARE...
