At, you can purchase gift cards that may be used at over 140 different places, including clothing and accessory stores, restaurants, and service providers, amongst others. They claim that anyone can find the perfect gift in 5 minutes.

Gift cards purchased at the Gift Card Mall can be searched either by the specific retailer or by category, and can be used either online or at locations. In addition, they offer e gift cards and Choice Cards as well.

Gift Cards and E Gift Cards

When choosing a gift card from the Gift Card Mall, you can pick the retailer, the specific dollar amount, and a personal message that will be sent along to your recipient. Some cards may even be customized with a personal image for a $1.00 charge.

But Gift Card Mall offers electronic gift cards as well, which can be emailed to the recipient with instructions for downloading and printing the gift cards. An e greeting card of your choice will be delivered along with the card.

If you create an account with, then you will be notified both when your payment has been confirmed, and when your e gift card has been viewed by the recipient. also offers the Choice Card, which allows the recipient to choose their own gift card from all 140 brands carried on the site. Recipients can even request a gift card in excess of the price already paid, and cover the difference with their own credit card.

What Else to Know

Gift cards take 5 to 8 days to be shipped, unless extradited shipping is chosen. After you receive your gift card in the mail, you must go online and activate it before it can be used.

Gift Card Mall is also partnered with major grocery store chains like Jewel Osco and Safeway, so that you can find gift cards quickly and easily in your own neighborhood. Gift cards purchased at the store will be activated at time of purchase; no need to go online.

If a gift card purchased at is lost or stolen after it has been delivered, there is nothing Gift Card Mall can do to help – gift cards are essentially the same as cash, and cannot be replaced.

But if a gift card is not delivered, or if there is another problem with your card, you must call Gift Card Mall Customer Care at (877) 426-2551.

  • It is a total scam, please do not give to these thieves
  • DO NOT BUY THEIR GIFT CARDS!! I purchased over $2500 in VSA cards- 8 cards total from my local supermarket (as giveaways to our customers). We mailed the cards to our customers and they all received the physical cards, however when they went to use them most of them had already been used. I went back to the market where the purchase was made and they told me they do not have access to the physical credit card numbers, only the card company does. Someone internally at the company is able to see the cards activated and they create their own cards and use them in full. Then they make the dispute process horrible and long, in an effort to get you to give up. If you want a VSA gist card, go to your local bank and buy the gift cards, it's more secure. DO NOT BUY the gift cards you see at markets, CVS, Walgreens etc. They are all from GiftCardMall and they are a scam!
  • I too wish I had checked some reviews before giving them $500 of my company's money. I can't get a refund and I can't get the product either. The lady that I spoke with, Susan, was a complete bitch, who didn't even try to hide the fact that she was unwilling to help. I highly recommending saving yourselves the time and trouble, it is not worth it.
  • I wish I had checked here before buying. I ordered a gift card for Michaels. It never arrived. They promised to resend. Never did. Then they gave me a reference number for the reprint/ refund. still nothing.

  • i order a fb card it said it would be there between 24 and 48 hrs on the reciept i got in the email, well it has been 5 days now, i called the company they told me it could take up to 72hrs, well it has been 5 days.. i dont recomend this company at all, and yes they checked junk folder/spam folder on there email, and yes it is the right email..still no card
  • I bought a Visa card to pay bills. It says on the front of the package (use anywhere in the U.S that Visa is accepted) well, my water company takes visa, but not this one. when I called the card company they said I couldn't use it to pay utility bills. The only reason I bought the card in the first place. I feel like I have been conned and now I am trying to come up with a way to replace my bill money.
  • I was stupid enough to think that an e-card would be delivered immediately, but I guess that was too much to hope for. Never mind that just about any other company that sells ecards has the whole thing automated that way. Too bad, because once I found out, it was too late to cancel my order and the customer "service" person cheerfully told me that there was nothing she could do or tell me about the status of my order. I'm still waiting to see if my recipient receives the gift, but it will late, regardless. So, anyway, I just want other customers to know that if you want to order a gift card in a hurry, use another website.
  • I ordered two visa gift cards from The first visa gift card ordered was sent via UPS next day air guaranteed delivery for 12/31/2012 by 10:30 AM. I received the activation code for the visa gift card via UPS next day air but I never received the visa gift card on 12/31/2012. The tracking information said the visa gift card was out for delivery. I did not receive my visa gift card from until 01/02/2013 at 10:17 AM. When I called UPS for a guaranteed service refund a supervisor named Wendy advised me that they were not able to issue a refund for the express delivery fee $19.99 because the service contract with does not allow refunds.

    So basically I had to eat the loss of $19.99 because UPS had too many packages on 12/31/2012 and not enough drivers and would not issue a refund of the shipping charge.

    For the second visa gift card order I received the visa gift card on time on 01/03/2013 as promised via UPS next day air mail before 10:30 AM, BUT the activation code that I received (on the same day, different envelope) was not for the correct visa gift card! They overnighted the wrong activation code, the code that was sent to me via UPS next day air mail was not for the card I ordered on The activation code I received was for another gift card ordered through b( is an affiliate/partner of I didn't even order overnight service for I called customer service for and they said they would send a request to their "second level" to activate the card by the next day 5PM eastern standard time.
