Global Test Market

Global Test Market (www.GlobalTestMarket.com) is a fairly established online market research panel. They have participants from nearly 200 countries contributing opinions in return for cash rewards. Over the years they have maintained a solid reputation and have an impressive, 5 million plus, membership.

Similar to other survey companies Global Test Market will send survey invitations to your email box. This is why it’s important to use a valid email address when you register with them. Upon completion of a survey you’ll be rewarded with market points which can later be redeemed for cash.

At the current exchange rate 1,000 points will earn you fifty US dollars which is also the minimum cash out level. The good thing about Global Test Market is that they reward loyalty and the more surveys you complete the more points per survey you will get.

The company pays out by checks in US dollars, this can be a slight inconvenience for non US residents, but nothing too serious. After reaching the appropriate level and requesting payment it can take up to two months to receive your check.

So far I haven’t received any complaints regarding non-payment issues from Global Test Market members. The only downside is that it can take several months to reach the fifty dollar minimum cash out point. So I would recommend using this company in conjunction with another income stream.

  • you are the worst survey ever.. a real scam...you never paid and keep people for two hours so you get all the informations and use for steal more money..you cannot even paid the penny when you disqualified users..you make me sick..companies like yours should not be allowed to make money
  • I have been with Global Test Market for 4 years and have never had a problem with them. I have redeemed points for gifts cards all the time.
    • I have problem in redeeming my marketpoints, I did not receive an email that says my request is already in process
  • It has changed over the past year to where I feel I do entire surveys and at the end I'm told I screened out! And there are now new, better sites that for much fewer surveys pay out a monthly participation!
    • I have one word for you, & that is Swagbucks. I have been with them for about 5 months, & have made almost $400. They have more service than most other sites, & you can also get points for downloading apps, signing up for offers, & other things. Their support team is wonderful beyond words. Not only do they have more service than the average company, their pay is better too. I have had some problems receiving credit for certain things, but their support team is absolutely fabulous at helping with that problem. If you do sign up with them, I would ask that you use me as a referral. I did not start out this email with that purpose in mind, I really just thought about it right now.
    • you said their are better sites that pay monthly. What are they? I would very much appreciate the info.
  • I redeemed £120 worth of points last month - but then nothing - no e-mail wiht the voucher code and I am unable to contact them. Their frontdesk bounces e-mails and their contact page on their web site has a defective? Capta which shows mainly letters but insists on a numeric only answer. It is dawning on me that this is just an elaborate scam.
    • just received check in mail for 1062.00 from them. Is it legit? Sounds like a scam to me. After i cash it, I think it will bounce.
  • Just a waste of time. You get maybe a dollar per week of daily work put in and you need to get to 50 dollar (1000 points) before they pay out. On average you get 3 surveys a day mailed to you you need to fill out as fast as possible and only every few days will you qualify for a survey and get 10-35 points because you fit the profile.

This means you can spend a year(!) doing surveys every day before seeing a meager amount of money. Count against this that points are only valid for up to a year and you will probably never see money because they disappear before you can collect enough.

A lot of surveys are cheap scams that just want your info but then screen you out. A lot of surveys also want to know if you do anything illegal.

Only a few surveys are good, but these are not enough. If you are serious about surveys find some place else.
  • Signing up and receiving the survey's was quite easy and the vast majority of the survey's were simple to complete. However, once I began to accumulate what I thought was a substantial amount of points, I began searching through their FAQ section to learn how I could redeem my points for cash and that's where things began to change. After being unable to locate an answer, I sent out an e-mail and asked them directly. After no answer, I sent out another one. Then another and another....... I have now lost track as to how many e-mails that I have sent with no response in return. It's funny though, almost immediately after every e-mail that I send out, I get another survey sent to me to complete. Fortunately for me, I signed up for the surveys in order to kill some time during the slower winter months, not because I need the money. I feel bad for anyone who gets involved with Global Test Market who does so for the added income because based on my experience, they're likely to be greatly disappointed.
  • can anyone please let me know about the cash value of market points awarded by globaltest market. I read many reviews regarding their payment as 1200 MP equals $50. but they are providing only $20 for 1400 market points.

Do they have different payment policy for Indian member ?

    please help me
  • I can't log in and they won't reply over 60 complaints
    • I can no longer log in either - and I am just short of the required points to cash in $20. Very very disappointed that they've chosen to lock me out just as I was about to cash in my points.
  • They pay out but i have been a member of GTM for over 5 yrs and I am quitting their surveys...here's why!!! What they have slowly done (over the past 3 years) is reduce the points of the surveys...So, when you got 50 points for 15 min survey...you now get 15-17 points, sometimes 25...So, your workload is already doubled...Now you have to do twice as much to get the same money....Moreover, they have reduced the point value as well...When 1000 points added to 50$, they increased 50$ payout to points value of 1200 and in the last month to 1401. Thus, your workload increased by another 40%. So basically, you are working 2 and 1/2 times more for the same money as you were working 3 years ago.......they are now taking advantage of US...find some other survey company............
