GoFreeCredit.com

GoFreeCredit.com is a website that provides its members with all three of their credit scores for free, as well as a free 7 day trial membership to credit monitoring services.

Everyone has three credit scores supplied by the three reporting credit bureaus: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. Many credit score providers only give you the score of one bureau, but GoFreeCredit.com claims to provide all three.

In addition to receiving your three current credit scores, you are also automatically enrolled with Credit Score Complete, who provides credit monitoring services and will alert you automatically if any of your scores change.

These monitoring services are only free for your 7 day trial. If you do not cancel your membership by the end of the trial, you will be charged $19.95 a month to continue your membership as long as you choose.

While you can cancel your membership at any time, you will not be eligible for any refunds, so make sure you are interested in the credit monitoring services before your 7 days is up.

  • They want your credit card info and it's not Free, they charge a dollar.
  • It's a scam, disgusting
  • Most of the 51 states say: Do not deal with ads claiming FREE, then asking for a charge. Also: DO NOT GIVE OUT TO A SITE THAT'S NON-GOVERNMENT ASKING NUMBERS OF YOUR CREDIT CARD ONLINE.
  • Oh, my God, this sounds like a horrible company, Thanks guys for the Warning about

this company. Thanks so much ;0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I made the huge mistake of signing up for the free trial. I cancelled prior to the 7 day trial week. Then I started seeing charges on my account. I called the bank and said I have to talk to Transunion.

$40 has already been taken out of my account. Now I have to work with Transunion and my bank. I'm having issues to resolve it. I've contacted the BBB. Whatever you do, do not use this site or sign on.
  • I just signed up on this site for credit monitoring I have been trying to cancel before they charge 19.90. When I try the message says my email in not the address I signed in with but interesting when I put my email address to opt out they had no problem saying I would be opt out from any further emails.

They refuse to cancel this subscription

They are truly a RIP off company

I am going to report them to the better business bureau I am 76 years old and I am tired of these scam artist ripping off older people like myself.

If I have to go to my credit union close this account.

Do not use this site they are scammers.
  • I guess going old school , picking up a phone book is the safest way if there not obsolete , even the phone book on the internet doesn't have all the phone numbers you need or just not updated
