HomeMade Riches

HomeMade Riches is a work at home business kit which claims that “anyone with internet access can make lots of money online.” In order to see if you qualify, you simply have to give them your personal contact information.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll be taken to a page where you can complete your order for the Home Made Riches kit itself, which will only cost you $2.99, with free Shipping & Handling.

If you order the kit, you indicate that you have read the Terms & Conditions page, which states that the cost of $2.99 purchases a 5 day trial with Home Made Riches. At the end of 5 days, however, you will be charged the full cost of $139.99, in addition to a recurring charge of $9.99 every 30 days.

In addition, you are agreeing to release your contact information to Home Made Riches and third party companies so they may contact you with information and special offers. This includes mail, email, and telephone calls.

If you would like to cancel your order with Home Made Riches, you can do so at any time by calling 1-877-374-0182, but no refunds for previous charges will be given.

  • This is a scam as I never got anything. I paid the $2.99 and didn't read the fine print. Good thing I have an excellent personal banker at the bank as they notified me about the $139.99 being taken out. She put a stop to it but I was inform that they tried using my card to take out other sums of money. If you call you bank to dispute it if it is on a debit card like I did, the bank will stop the process.
  • I ordered this kit and of course, it was a scam. Waited for the kit to come and it never did. When I saw the deduction from my account, I immediately got on the phone and threaten to sue if I don't get my $139.99 refund immediately. I receive my refund within a couple of days and they still keep calling me. THIS IS A SCAM!!! DON'T DO IT!!!

There really need to be a way of getting these scammers off the internet because they prey on people who are desperate to make a little money to stay alive in this world.
  • These guys stitched me right up & I fell into the exact trap as everyone else! Seriously though who goes through pages & pages of Terms & Conditions? Anyway I'm in Australia & dialled 0011 1 888 501 6493 & was put on hold for ages then finally got answered by a very friendly guy named Tim. Tim sincerely listened to me & then reviewed my story, referred to some emails I'd sent then actioned a full refund. He said it would be in my account with in 10 days... I was completely refunded with in 6. Try emailing this address also [email protected]
  • OMG!!! How stupid are we? wish I had checked it out before I gave all my info.It is a scam!!! Can anyone say fraud? They took the $2.99 & then $139.99. I never recieved a kit!! They charge you $139.99 just so you can view their website !!!! give me a fn brake!!! If it sounds to good to be true, it is!!!!
  • Thank You ALL so much you saved me and my money. I had thought about it and remember my son saying check it out first and then proceed. I am glad I did.!!!!!!!!
  • Thank you guys so much for your help with the number and reviews! After i read your reviews i went back and read the fine print and I felt like a chump for falling for this. I want to find that sleezball from the video and jump him.
  • you can call 1888 501 6491, that is the customer service number. I had no problem cancelling my account, hope you all have good luck, what a joke this was, never again
    • Pat... is this an American number? I'm in Australia & can't get through!

Furious with these kind of crooks operating on the internet! Someone should be shutting this website down quick smart!
  • I understand about the sneaky "hope they don't really read the terms and conditions" thing. And when you click the "I read" the terms box, you authorize them to take that money from your account.

However, does anyone know if the business really works? I see the ads for this and people holding checks. It looks real (but I've been scammed before too).

I would love to hear from those folks that are getting these checks...if there are folks out there really getting them.
  • I am one of the ones that don't read the fine print as well and I got scammed. I tried to get my 139.99 back but no joy. I have been scammed and it pisses me off that these people are getting money from people who are trying to make money. Do not do this what so ever. I know now that I will read terms and conditions no matter what the circumstances are.
  • I signed up for the Home Riches Kit about 20 minutes ago and it is a SCAM! My card was charged, within 2 minutes, $1.95 but when I called the number, on their site, to cancel my subscription, the phone # was wrong. The phone number listed on this site and on their actual site are wrong numbers. I finally got a hold of the right customer service and they said I am not in their system and to call back in an hour. So that's what I'm going to do.

Please call and cancel your information as soon as you can.

    • Thank you Robyn,

I just did the same thing. I found this blog and contacted the number you provided, cancelled my "membership" which would've cost me $139.00, and had my information deleted, and received a confirmation number as well. So it cost me $2.99 to protect my information from this scam.... Nan
