Home Website Builder Reviews – Legit or Scam?

The Home Website Builder is a website that claims the ability to make money is as simple as 1, 2, 3. 1 is choosing your website template, 2 is picking the products you will sell on your website, and 3 is earning money! The best part is that Home Website Builder will provide you with the website you need to do this for free.

Well, maybe not free. As you go through the process of setting up your free website, you will quickly see that Home Website Builder says that you can have a free website, but it’s not likely to make you money. Having one website is more for people who wish to have a “hobby.”

But if you do want to make money online, then all you have to do is pay the temporarily discounted price of $97.95. For this fee, you will receive 10 websites to begin, with the ability to add more free websites down the line. In addition you get sales tracking, 24/7 support, and other benefits and features not available to those who just wish to have a free website.

Is Home Website Builder Legit?

Home Website Builder is taking a successful, proven method of making money online – which is using a website either for affiliate marketing or selling products – and handling it in such a way that their customers are almost guaranteed to make no money. Let me explain.

Probably the best method of making money online is by monetizing a website, and you do this through selling products on the website or by referring your visitors to buy the products of someone else, and receiving a commission for that referral (affiliate marketing).

Home Website Builder is essentially offering you either method of making money online, but they are giving you pre-made, automated websites. And they are giving every single other customer who signs up for their program the exact same, pre-made, automated website they are giving you, and those people will be selling the same products you are.

In addition, they are advocating that you enter some of the hardest markets in which to make money online – weight loss, paid surveys, relationship advice? These areas are completely saturated with highly competitive, motivated, and experienced sellers. Competing in these markets would be difficult under the best of circumstances, but doing it with pre-made websites that are identical to many others out there? You have almost no hope of succeeding.

If you are interested in making money through affiliate marketing or online sales, you owe it to yourself to begin your own, unique website. Spending time pouring money and time into a website that is almost doomed from the beginning is not the best way to begin your online career.

  • its a scam or its broken. Either way, you are out the money. They are happy to take your money, but you cannot get a working password for all the tea in china. The first one is bad, the 2nd one is bad, the third one is bad, the 4th one is bad.... I think I see a pattern here. Save your money, there is nothing to see here.
  • This is a SCAM. I emailed to [email protected] many times and got ticket after ticket and still have not gotten a refund. The responses are automated responses. I also have submitted to Clicksure for refund and also got automated responses. I have done this for the past two weeks and still have not gotten the 60 day money back guarantee or homeweebsitebuilders 30 day money back guarantee. Do not buy this product it is a SCAM.
    • Hello,

I can confirm that we offer a 60 day money back guarantee. And if you have sent a ticket to [email protected] then we will reply as soon as possible.

Please make sure you check your junk folder as sometimes our reply is sent to that folder instead.

If you still haven't received a reply, then please email us again FAO Paul Wilson and I shall happily investigate this further for you.

      Regards,

      Paul Wilson.
  • Don't buy it is a rip off and their support is crap

I paid their 'special' price of $57 and logged in I found that it was just a basic site and I was at the lowest level and could not even access their special downloads as it was going to cost me more money to get the things they initially advertised

Then there was the registration etc

I contacted them a month since to find out exactly what I did get for my initial out lay as what I got was different from what they advertised

I can't even provoke an answer from them and I accept I have lost my initial outlay but the lesson I have learned from this is worth the money I lost, so am accepting it and not asking for my money back, but I hope they choke on it

After reading all the other reviews I am surprised these people can live with themselves the fact is that if they were not so UNDERHANDED about their business I think they would get more customers

  • Hi there,

I was about to buy this product, but I've been amazed reading the reviews.

It is incredible that ALL the reviews are negative, including the main one at the top of the page. Never saw such disaster.

With the exception of Robin Doughty's review the rest of them are totally negative.

I really can't believe it. My advise to the developers of the program would be:

    1) Clearly explain in the sales ad ALL the costs involved in the complete setup of the system, including ALL the upsales and hosting fees.

    2) The ad pretty seems a "push button and go", and does not refer to the work that the users must perform to normally succeed. Explain this and you'll be more believable and you'll probably avoid further negative reviews and more sales.

    3) Explain which method will be used to get traffic into the sites.

    4) Explain which products are chosen to be promoted.

By the other hand, I appreciate the polite and professional answers that the claimants receive from you.

    Regards,

    RobertoM

I am somewhat surprised at all the negative comment and money back requests regarding this programme.

I have three sites via Homewebsitebuilder. One is my own domain name and hosting and two are subdomains on HWB and are free hosting.

It is true that the products are already chosen for you and that the site templates are the same for everyone but surely if you don’t put anything in yourself you cannot really expect to make it online.
  • I was so excited (and apparently stupid) and bought all the upgrades. That means that I have spent more than $500. I was directed to the video by Adrian Morrison whom I respect. I have not been able to access the back pages of the site. Now, I cannot even log in. I have sent two emails to [email protected] and keep getting ticket numbers, no help, nothing but an automated response. I cannot afford to lose this money. I was ready to work hard. Now what?
    • Hello Martha,

Have you checked your junk folder. For some reason our replies have been delivered there instead of your inbox folder.

If you haven't received a reply then please contact us again and mark the email out for my attention (Paul Wilson) and I shall personally investigate this further for you.

      Many Thanks,

      Paul Wilson.
  • I have purchased your program 2 weeks ago and have written twice to your authorities for refund but did not get anyone to act on my request. Kindly get some one to act asap and refund my money.

Please be more clear in your offer about all the charges. At every stage you guys come up with something new.
  • Hi Paul,

I have purchased you order on May 9th and i am not willing to pay website hosting charges as it keeps on increasing. I want to cancel my order as soon as possible. I have some emergency situation down here. Please do refund my money as you have guaranteed during my purchase of order. Please i need to be it done as soon as possible. Emergency :(
    • Hello Rubini,

  • Thank God & Thanks to all ! I was about to be a part of this scam or this hidden thing but fortunately I did not signed up for it.

People who does such painful scams with people, going to die badly with curse.
  • Some of you guys ARE pathetic. You bring nothing to my mind so vividly as a deer staring into car headlights at midnight. Most of you do, indeed, sound scammed. You sound as if you've scammed YOURSELVES into the situation you bemoan.

If you're disabled and about to become homeless, than you're not in a position to pay domain registration fees, web hosting or for an auto responder. With modest due diligence, you could learn that these are typical requirements to set up web sites. If you are not really strong in composition of American-sounding English, it will stick out like a sore thumb. You'll need a writer at the very least. In the business of affiliate marketing, you're going to need to write persuasive text and write it correctly. Fact: English is the currency of the internet. Not everyone on the planet can—or should be—in business for themselves. It's not an equality thing.

But why do they make it SOUND as if anybody can do this? Why does a car salesman tell you you're sitting in the best car made by anybody today? He/she is trying to SELL you something. Is this some kind of higher math equation?
    • I agree with you 100% on your last paragraph. The product targets the wrong demographic of job-seekers rather than aspiring entrepreneurs. This approach is doomed to fail. However good the product, it will be dragged down by the wrong sort of buyers, and they have wound themselves into a big hassle of conflict mediation and refunds.
  • I am somewhat surprised at all the negative comment and money back requests regarding this programme. I have three sites via Homewebsitebuilder. One is my own domain name and hosting and two are subdomains on HWB and are free hosting. It is true that the products are already chosen for you and that the site templates are the same for everyone but surely if you don't put anything in yourself you cannot really expect to make it online. You have the opportunity to put your own unique content on the homepage, to incorporate the keywords you would want to be ranked on Google for, and you can of course spend some of your time obtaining backlinks yourself instead of waiting for things to drop in your lap. Overall I would say that this is a good format for the newbie struggling to construct a website to get on line quickly. The products are good, Proactol on the weight loss site for example being particularly well reviewed and popular. I do not score a 5 for this programme as I find the support not very forthcoming for technical inquiries and there is no access allowed to the admin panel of your website. I recommend that you 'give it a go'.
