InboxPounds, found at www.InboxPounds.co.uk, is the new version of Inbox Dollars, a rewards website that allows members to earn money for doing their regular activities online, which is available in the United Kingdom.

Rewards websites allow members to sign up for free, and then pay them in either cash or prizes for doing the things they would normally do online anyway. At InboxPounds, you earn cash for the activities you perform, and you can cash out when you reach 20 pounds.

Rewards websites are able to pay their users because they partner with other companies who will use you for market research and feedback. This allows them a wide audience for study, and better enables them to make choices about their products, services, and marketing in the future.

How You Earn Money

InboxPounds says that you can earn money by reading emails, searching the web, taking surveys, playing games, and much more. And while it may seem hard to believe, it’s true. And you can sign up for free.

What they don’t say up front, however, is that the amount of money you will earn for doing is just a couple cents per activity you perform. This means that it will take quite awhile to earn 20 pounds.

This doesn’t mean that rewards websites aren’t worth it, however. Since the theory is that you are just supposed to be doing things you would be doing anyway, any money you earn is a bonus. This is not intended to replace your normal income.

The Concerns

With rewards websites like InboxPounds, however, there are a couple things to look out for. Since they will be paying you to read emails, you may want to sign up for a separate email account just for this purpose.

These emails may also give you opportunities to earn even more cash by signing up for special offers, products, or service trials. However, you must be very careful. Often these offers will cost you money in the end, because the trial subscriptions will often roll over into monthly fees, so it’s important to read the fine print.

  • I think it is a con
  • Avoid, as soon as you ask for payment they cancel your account and refuse to pay.
  • This site starts well, but as others have said, the nearer you get to payout the harder it is to earn anything. And they keep changing the rules to make it ever more difficult to earn anything.

I used to use the search all the time. You'd get a bonus for searching at least 4 days a week & foir every 4 searches. They removed the daily bonus & your search counter resets if you don't do four in a row, so I stopped using it.

Now I'm close to the payout I've been informed I don't use the site enough so I won't get any 5p emails anymore. If I started using it more, they'd be reinstated, apparently. After 2 weeks they haven't been.

Avoid this site & don't waste your valuable time.
  • You can waste your entire life filling in their surveys and get nothing.

PS: how do I get rid of their emails? "Unsubscribe" doesn't work and neither does "blocking". Getting fed up now.
  • poor site, minimal rewards, inaccessible surveys.
  • COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

I spent a lot of time on this site trying to reach £20. When I finally did, I requested a payment but the cheque was never sent. When I contacted them - it said I had gone against the terms of use, I have no idea how. 100% ripped off. Do not make the same mistake I did - dont waste your precious time working for these thieving scumbags - you will end up disappointed.

    Hope this helps.
  • I have been on inbox pounds for some time, I spend a lot of time out of the Uk, so I cannot do the surveys then, but I can see the 1p emails. When in the UK I do the surveys that I can. Now when I request a payment I am deleted due to the fact that I am not always in the UK. I have been scammed, I do not recommend this site to anyone. Go have a sleep it is better for you than inboxthieves.
  • ok not sure how you get high money will have to find out
    • BE TOLD most of these are SCAMS.

Anyone who says otherwise is either lying or a representative of the company.

MOST of these sites you will never get to £20, as above said it becomes harder and harder to get to the £20 threshold for payout OR despite jumping through all the hoops there is still some excuse why you can't be paid.

Of course the company has all your details to sell on to someone else.

However you giftwrap it is a scam.

      I repeat A SCAM!
    • inbox pounds is not the best site. paltry rewards. much better sites elsewhere. incidentally the site has recently reduced rewards paid for searches making it even less worthwhile.
    • inboxpounds is the best site, I've been using it for 4 years and the biggest cheque I have received to date was in June 2016 for £127.89, I am continuing to use the site and I already have £49.32 I usually leave it until I reach the £50 mark before I request a payment although you can request a payment as soon as you reach £20
  • I actually think for someone like me who has just moved location and needs to find a job spending some time doing surveys is a great way for me to keep myself busy and at least earning something. At first I was skeptical, and yes you do get rejected a few times, but I've earned 9 pounds so far in just 4 days which, when I get it to 20, will be worth it when I need some spare cash for a food shop.

peanut lab surveys are the only one I bother with. I recently just did an army survey that was so simple and quick and I earned a pound! of course thats the only one Ive seen for that much, but still XD
  • Worst survey site I ever used. Try time and time again to pass the screening for a survey and seem to continually fail to find one. Before being rejected you go through a huge number of questions which they no doubt use and keep the answers to, so basically you are doing practically a whole survey for free before they reject you. Notably the closer you get to actually withdrawing any money it gets harder and harder to qualify for any survey at all. Is this a way to avoid having to pay out?? Avoid, avoid, avoid.
