MintVine.com

MintVine.com is the home of MintVine, a new market research company who says they give people a “fun and easy way” to make real money by earning points through simply “sharing your opinion.”

Signing up to work with MintVine.com is completely free and only requires an active email address which they will use to send you a confirmation email to set up your account.

In order to finalize your account setup, you simply need to fill out a personal questionnaire consisting of eight questions, but which will better help you receive surveys that you will qualify for. MintVine promises that the information provided in this questionnaire will not be sold for advertising purposes.

How It Works

Market research is an important aspect for companies looking to increase sales by targeting their products to a specific audience and demographic, which is essentially every company that makes money through sales.

Whenever you complete a survey, try a product and create a review, or complete an offer, you will be given a certain number of points. These points can eventually be converted into cash payments.

You will need a minimum of 1000 points to cash out your account – 1000 points is equal to $10. It takes up to two weeks for points to post to your account after you have earned them, but members with PayPal account can withdraw money without delay after the points have been posted.

Is MintVine.com Legit?

MintVine members can sign up for free, which is important because companies should never charge people for the opportunity to take surveys. In addition, their payout minimum of $10 is very reasonable – many companies which pay their members cash have payouts closer to $20 or $25.

Also, MintVine warns their members that while completing offers from companies does offer a high number of points, these offers can sometimes be tricky and may require a credit card number which will be charged if you do not closely follow the rules of the offer.

As long as MintVine.com is reliable when it comes to honoring member payouts, it seems as though they may be a fair company to work with. However, when working with any market research company you will want to keep track of all the work you do for this website, so that you can contact customer service if there is ever an issue with you receiving credit for your work.

  • Not a get rich quick by any means but it does pay out. Took about a week but I did get paid.
  • It's 100% legit. You're not gonna get rich but you can easily earn $10-$15 a week if you take a few surveys a day. When you sign up make sure you allow them to email you when a survey is available. It's easy and free.
  • Mintvine is a scam. I have funneled multiple hours of my time and loads of personal information into this site and the surveys and all I get in return are disqualifications from the surveys. There are much better ways to spend your time and make some spare cash. It isn't worth putting in the time and providing the information if you aren't going to receive anything in return. I highly discourage anyone from using Mintvine and protect themselves by not giving their personal information away for no reason whatsoever.
  • I joined mintvine a week ago. They ask me lots of my information and with one nighmare exception, never ever ever qualify me for a survey. I've been doing surveys on Vindale for months. One of their Portals "YourSurveys" also uses Mintvine. After months of surveys on Vindale I built up my status to "GOOD" with 255 points. When Mintvine sent me to the YourSurveys site it dropped my score down to 100 points. Then it asked my address. I gave it to them and they came back and said it was a bogus address and dropped my points to 90 with a status of "Warning". I went back to Vindale and discovered my status has been dropped on all portals. I have written many complaints and they have never responded. With the status of "Warning" it has greatly decreased my ability to earn rewards. They are a complete scam. Do not go near them.
  • I've used MintVine for less than a year and I've already earned $30 in gift cards; it's easy to use, a lot of the surveys are fun and you get free gift cards of your choice, I love using it. So long as you answer the surveys completely and do them in the amount of time set, you stand a good chance of getting paid, and if you don't qualify for the surveys, they're kind enough to give you 5 points just for taking it. It's a fun and easy way to earn a little extra money.
  • There is something not quite legitimate about this company. I have accumulated over 9000 points and selected my pay out preference which is what they tell you to do in order to redeem points. The redeem button is nowhere to be found when I log on to my account. I have queried the help desk about this and have never received a response. There is definitely something fishy going on with them. Also, used to receive multiple surveys a day and it has been weeks since I've gotten one. The only thing available are the daily 5 point polls. I've never been told I could only accumulate a certain number of points before I had to cash out and have just been letting them accumulate for a bigger payout. Buyer beware of this company!
    • Sometimes you have to clear your cache or try a different web browser. See if that helps
    • I love Mintvine. I have rarely had any problems and made some money. Nothing huge but at least 100 dollars in the last year. Much better than other survey sites
    • me too 1860 points and no redeem button. ive looked all over, contacted customer support, looked at chat rooms, support pages etc and its a VERY common issue on here. the only time they seem to respond on the support pages is with the computerised response of when you reach 1000 points you can get your reward etc. its on the dashboard blah blah blah oh and only available in uk canada etc. IM IN THE UK!!!! and i have enough points. this site is either a weird scam or has so many clitches its more hassle than its worth.
    • well its most def working for me, iv been paid already 4 times within 2 months.. i mean it wasnt alot but it still worked :)
    • I am having the same issue, I have over 1200 cleared points (more pending) and am unable to cashout even though you only need 1000 points ($10)to cashout. The redeem button does not show but my account still shows that the points are there,
  • I do not recommend Mint Vine. You will be completing surveys for no money at all.

Like many others, I have completed many surveys for no credit. You answer 20 or 25 questions, go all the way through to the end to be screened out. Also, you can answer 6 or 7 screens in a row (5 - 10 questions each) before getting a survey only to be disqualified on the 1st or 2nd question. The screening system does not work well at all.

I have cashed out once and was ready to cash out again, but they have locked my account.

Up until today, when I emailed Mint Vine to let them know I was not credited, they were fast respond and credit my account. But yesterday I completed a survey and instead of being credited, was directed to a Mint Vine screen to verify my mobile. Got the code on my phone, but nowhere to input it, so I emailed Mint Vine. The response today was I have to verify my mobile. No mention of the survey I completed.

The code has long since expired and Mint Vine will not send it again. I cannot get to my account to cash out. I have tried multiple times and have contacted Mint Vine again.

I am seriously pissed off that I cannot get the money on my account that I earned. Don't waste your time on this one. They will rip you off, too.
  • Sounds like, what I'm beginning to see about the internet; money and porn, I swear I think it sucks..... anyway..I just hooked up with another CO. seems like it may be cool, I'm still waiting. Company is cashback research.com ??? I'm gettin a job ,TIP! the younger you are the better your odds are for gettin a job FACT goodluck!
  • I signed up, answered the qualifying questions and then was directed to a survey. I apparently did not qualify for the first one but was accepted for the second which involved the banking industry. It was a very long survey and took me at least 40 minutes to complete. At the end the site showed that I was not qualified.

A complete waste of my time and how do I know that my survey was not used by Mintvines clients.

This appears to be a scam BEWARE
  • I have not had many issues at all with Mintvine. If there is ever a problem with the system not crediting any points I have always found if i e-mail Mintvine they straighten the problem out. If you don't qualify for a survey you many times get credited 5 points which adds up or even an occassional 30 points. . This is certainly better than most companies which give you nothing if you don't qualify. I agree I have never made that much money with them but I haven't made much money either with other survey companies. YouGov, the survey company that has surveys about political issues takes forevor to make any money from though their surveys are interesting. . So Mintvine is better. I still give Mintvine a high rating, it is better than most survey companies and their cashout quota is only $10.00 compared to #30.00 or even $50.00 with some survey companies. Mintvine's surveys don't work sometimes but I am sure they are not the only ones with this problem.
