Panda Research is a company that markets itself as a survey panel and claim that they can help their members make extra money. The company is open to all residents of the United States at least 18 years of age with a valid email address.

The difference between Panda Research and other survey sites is that this company provides you with surveys that are linked to company offers and other research studies. Essentially they are an intermediary putting you in contact with a variety of paid offers available online.

How Does Panda Research Work?

Once you register with the company you will be in their database and eligible to receive survey offers. You can login into your account to see what is currently available and you will also receive additional offers via email.

Email offers will contain a login code and links to the site where the survey is offered. Some surveys will contain a pre-screener so you may be asked to answer some basic questions before being approved.

In some cases you may not qualify for their survey, this happens from time to time when the researchers are looking for very specific demographics or requirements for their study. Do not get discouraged and simply try again next time.

The surveys shouldn’t take longer than 10 or 15 minutes. If you are prompted to sign-up for any trial offers of products be sure to read all the fine print. You may be entering a subscription for a continual use of a product after the trial – be sure to read everything first.

Getting Paid:

Panda Research pays out only when you have reached $50 in your account and will subsequently pay you in 50 dollar increments. So you checks will be for $50 or $100 and the remainder will be carried over into the next pay period.

You will be paid via paypal on the 1st or 15th of every month after the 30 day waiting period starting from when you submitted and verified your cashout request.

You can also get paid by referring friends to Panda Research, you will be eligible to earn 10% of their lifetime survey earnings.

Customer Service:

If you would like to unsubscribe from receiving Panda emails you can do so here, http://www.pandaresearch.com/uc?a=st&pt=uns.

If you have other issues you can contact support through their website at http://support.pandaresearch.com/. You will need to have your membership login information.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

Panda Research has been around for many years and in that time has accumulated a large number of customer reviews. Amongst those are many complaints alleging that the company fails to make timely payments and have purposely developed a convoluted payout process to confuse and deter people from pursuing their rewards.

Competitors and Alternatives:

Online surveys are very popular because they offer members a way to make some extra money from home and in their spare time. It’s important to research the companies that you work with to make sure they are a legitimate market research firm and not just an online lead harvester.

  • Yes I've been with Panda Research 4 over 2 months and every time I request the payment I get nothing there's no number for them to call you leave a message for them to get back to you nobody gets back to you I have been waiting for a payment and I've made quite a bit of money with them but not received one penny you're right they are full of it they are a scam they don't pay people like they're supposed to they don't contact you and I've left over two dozen messages just for somebody to contact me and find out why I haven't gotten paid I think it's going on 9 weeks now and I haven't seen a paycheck but I've made over $500 quite a bit more than that and haven't seen a penny of it and it looks like I'm not going to because it's been sitting in viewing for over a month and a half will know it's been sitting in viewing for 8 weeks but tell you tell people that you've told about it not to go on cuz it is a scam they are full of it sorry to say find yourself a better survey to take and for those of you that did get paid I'm happy for you but with all the money that I've made and haven't seen a dime I'm very unhappy
  • I'm almost at $100. And I'm almost ready to collect my pay.
  • they been approving my payments since the beginning of summer i made 1,200 and i am only at 6.49 after a few months of waiting. They are a scam don't waste your time with them. You have to buy stuff to get credited to surveys. It's a waste of time. Wish there was a way to report them.
  • SCAM! I built up barely near the minimum and got maybe 25% surveys verses "taking advantage"? of their offers. DO NOT BOTHER!
  • I have found out they are part of any other web sites --first weekend was on their site was going to do pay-pal my bank called mon-an ask if i had bought 180.00 on one website--I had not--I new i was broke--stopped bankcard--now every web site that you have to pay s&h has same comp listed an i was all so told to up date my pay-pal looking over my email they have about 40 web sites this 1 mite be one to but the ip address does not look like it--when i had made 65.00 --50.00 to bemailed out --looked over my infomation some one had put their infomation in an did not change it back.. --they also placed bad info.on my ffacebook or when i would try to do sur-or win prizes would say i could not reg. i did not understand-but 1 lady that was trying to help me with a grant told me was for cheating on games--an going on different web sites using other peoples c.c.--an was busted for it---so I WAS HACKED
  • its a Ponzi scheme. It takes long for them to pay out because they need more people to sign up
  • I HAVE DONE SEVERAL OF THEIR SURVEYS, BUT NO MONEY. I GUESS LIVE AND LEARN.
  • they say you earn so much and then they have an "approved" area. I did $100 worth, but only $1.00 was approved. Unprofessional company.
  • A few years ago I hit the $100 mark & requested my payout, which I received with no problem at all. I was very happy. I went a while not doing offers & later when I went back to the site it had changed a lot. It looks a lot different & the offers where you sign up for something are associated with a survey or something & you have to jump through lots of extra hoops. So I haven't bothered trying.
