Panda Research is a company that markets itself as a survey panel and claim that they can help their members make extra money. The company is open to all residents of the United States at least 18 years of age with a valid email address.

The difference between Panda Research and other survey sites is that this company provides you with surveys that are linked to company offers and other research studies. Essentially they are an intermediary putting you in contact with a variety of paid offers available online.

How Does Panda Research Work?

Once you register with the company you will be in their database and eligible to receive survey offers. You can login into your account to see what is currently available and you will also receive additional offers via email.

Email offers will contain a login code and links to the site where the survey is offered. Some surveys will contain a pre-screener so you may be asked to answer some basic questions before being approved.

In some cases you may not qualify for their survey, this happens from time to time when the researchers are looking for very specific demographics or requirements for their study. Do not get discouraged and simply try again next time.

The surveys shouldn’t take longer than 10 or 15 minutes. If you are prompted to sign-up for any trial offers of products be sure to read all the fine print. You may be entering a subscription for a continual use of a product after the trial – be sure to read everything first.

Getting Paid:

Panda Research pays out only when you have reached $50 in your account and will subsequently pay you in 50 dollar increments. So you checks will be for $50 or $100 and the remainder will be carried over into the next pay period.

You will be paid via paypal on the 1st or 15th of every month after the 30 day waiting period starting from when you submitted and verified your cashout request.

You can also get paid by referring friends to Panda Research, you will be eligible to earn 10% of their lifetime survey earnings.

Customer Service:

If you would like to unsubscribe from receiving Panda emails you can do so here, http://www.pandaresearch.com/uc?a=st&pt=uns.

If you have other issues you can contact support through their website at http://support.pandaresearch.com/. You will need to have your membership login information.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

Panda Research has been around for many years and in that time has accumulated a large number of customer reviews. Amongst those are many complaints alleging that the company fails to make timely payments and have purposely developed a convoluted payout process to confuse and deter people from pursuing their rewards.

Competitors and Alternatives:

Online surveys are very popular because they offer members a way to make some extra money from home and in their spare time. It’s important to research the companies that you work with to make sure they are a legitimate market research firm and not just an online lead harvester.

  • Would anyone be interested in starting a class-action lawsuit against these people? I dont know how to go about it but would be more than willing to take part in one. These guys have to be stopped and there seems to be no other way to do it. Please, lets get together and make this happen.
  • SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!! SHAME ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU, SHAM ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME....DON'T DO IT!!!,NOT EVEN ONCE!!!
  • My two cents,I think panda research is a ripoff,my question is "how do we get back at them ,and the rest of the other scammers"It seems like the power of the internet should be enough to expose these weasels if we get get together .Any takers?
  • i joined panda in feb 07. had all my credits($103) within 1 mo. although the credits seemed to not show up even after the 6 wk grace period they say it will take. after 2 mos i left it alone waiting for the credits to show i then took more surveys just wanting to get it over with. i was then up to 133. with panda still only showing 83. during this time i emailed them 3 times regarding this matter. finally got in touch with the BBB. and emailed panda about this. FINALLY.. i showed 101. which still has not changed. i have even emailed them with the account #'s to show i had received product and completed the necessary surveys to attempt to get paid the rest of the money owed me..no response from them. i wish to get the word out to others!!!they are a rip off!!! dec and still not showing over 101. (i think the only reason i went over 100 finally was due to my contact with the BBB. will now attempt to get that in my paypal wish me luck!!
  • I took surveys in May 2007. My status is still pending for $264.00, I am not holding my breath for my money. This company is a scam, big, big time. DO NOT waste your time.
  • I joined Panda Research earlier this year. I got my approval for the min. amt of $100.25 July 18,2007, I was FINALLY PAID 11/20/07 only after calling (if you look in the small print of their e-mails you see A&A Marketing in Palatine, Il. I obtained a phone number and then sent an e-mail letting them know that I would be exposing them to my State Attorney General, E-Commerce and anyone else who would listen. I sent several e-mails before they took me seriously. I received my pmt of $100.25 minus the PayPal fee of $3.25. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Run don't walk away from Panda Research.
  • I started doing Panda research surveys 3 months ago, and my account seems to be stalled at just under the minimum required to get paid. I emailed them but all they say is it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get approved. I am sure that 3 months is more than 6 to 8 weeks. I don't believe I ever will get paid. I have done surveys that total more than $300, but am not doing any more. It is a waste of time an money, as you need a credit card for all of them.
  • I was just looking for a way to help me make the payments for my college and they promised money if I did surveys and I thought hey I could do this and not fall behind on bills and I have earned money they wont let me have and that is wrong!! now I am behind on my bills thinking they were for real.
