The Profit Masters Academy is not a new business opportunity; in fact it is simply an updated version of a popular Biz Opp that has been around for quite some time. There are several different versions of this course floating around and all are regularly updated with new names, URLs, and spokespeople.
This current version is found at www.ProfitMastersAcademy.com with Angela Bussio as the featured spokeswoman. The most recent version was simply called Home Profit Masters, as you can clearly see this is just a slight variation on the old course.
There are many different reasons why the owners and marketers of these types of courses frequently rebrand their product and register fresh new sites. In most cases it’s simple economics, given the nature of the aggressive marketing strategies and hype used to promote these products it’s only natural that these make money online courses generate lots of negative feedback.
As more and more customer complaints and reviews are posted online the revenue from selling the course naturally begins to decrease. Hence the constant need for revamping the sites under different names. This process has been repeated dozens of times and many people sign-up for the course completely ignorant of this fact.
So what is the Profit Masters Academy All About?
When you read through the sales page you’ll be inundated with a lot of deceptive sales techniques. Much of what you’ll read on ProfitMastersAcademy.com is a hyped up version of the reality that they are really selling you.
You’ll read about how Angela Bussio taught Katie Smith how to make money online simply posting links online for hundreds of companies. There’s even a neat little table that claims you can make $375 a day just by posting 25 links.
This is simply not the case; no one is paying you to just post links online. This is a very deceptive way of describing internet marketing, the practice of advertising and promoting products online through the use of affiliate links.
This is a burgeoning industry that many people have never heard of, and thus are way more likely to believe the hyped version of what it is versus the truth.
So is Profit Masters Academy a Scam or for Real?
The truth is that nobody pays you just for placing a link; the way to make money in this industry is to learn how to be a middle man between customers and vendors. If you can drive lots of internet traffic directly to offers you can make a commission when someone makes a purchase – usually 20 to 50 percent of the sale price.
So the concept of internet marketing is in itself not a scam and there are many people making a good living doing it. However it is not easy and takes a lot of hard work and learning the ins and outs of eCommerce and online marketing tactics.
Profit Masters Academy will provide with a website and some products to promote, but they don’t tell you upfront the additional costs associated with maintain a website and subsequently marketing it on the web through pay per click advertising.
The bottom line is that while you can make money with some of the methods taught by this course, understand that the reality is not anywhere near to the get rich quick – no experience necessary attitude that they take on their sales page.
I received a call shortly after I inputted my information from Power Seller College, also known as Profit Masters Academy, Daeus Financial and YourEntitySolution(YES).Promising the whole kit and caboodle. They were going to setup a custom personalized website for me and provide all the software I would need to start earning money. I would also receive “coaching” sessions from one of their “HIGHLY” experienced staff that make thousands DAILY. He threw out the bait and ignorantly I bit. I paid Power Seller College $8,600 for Option A, which was supposed to give me the maximum potential to earn business. However, when I looked at my account they charged online, it said another name completely….Members Learning Source. Why would it come up as another name if they were a legitimate company?? So, who exactly are they? Power Seller College? Daeus Financial? YourEntitySolution(YES)?
I have never received and “ACTUAL” coaching. I have been given the run around when I call them to try and speak to my coach personally. I am directed to a website that doesn’t tell me anything that I didn’t already know.
I tried contacting them to get my money back since they never provided me with anything they said they were going to. I again was given the run around. Finally, I had had enough and called to speak to a supervisor. When they answered the phone he again promised me that things would be taken care of and that I would just need to stick it out a little bit more. They had been having some difficulties on the server and they were busy correcting it. So I did. Still to this day nothing has been done to setup my business. I WAS SCAMMED BY THESE NO GOOD THIEVES!!!
I have contacted them so many times and have gotten nowhere. So I decided to contact a law firm to help me get my money. I AM ENTITLED TO MY MONEY AS THEY NEVER PROVIDED ANYTHING THEY SAID THEY WOULD!!! I spoke to Edgar(678-828-2596) and he informed me of my rights as a consumer and that he will open a case for me. I did not have to pay anything to retain his services upfront, which was great and made me feel a little more secure in all this. Everything has gone smooth and I’m happy I called him up.
If you’re thinking about getting in bed with Power Seller College, Members Learning Source, Deaus Financial, YES or VIP…..DON’T!!! They’ll steal your money!!!
I am beginning to think that the only way to make $$ online is to convince people to give you money for a bogus product. As someone with a conscience, this is something I cannot do!
I've been trying to reach them to cancel for a refund. The numbers I've called gets no results. Can you tell me what number you called to reach them?
