RealOnlineIncome.com is the home of Michelle Starr’s new work at home opportunity, Real Online Income, which promises that anyone can earn up to $379 a day with just one hour of work, regardless of education or experience.

Michelle Starr used to be the spokesperson for Online Wealth Formula, which was a similar work at home program that also claimed anyone could earn an online income with just one hour of work a day through her “Wealth Development Certification” program.

Real Online Income promises makes that same promise with their “Income Development Certification” program, which they are selling for a one time fee of $97.00, which they say is a discounted price for a program worth over $2000.00.

What is Link Posting?

Link posting is probably the most popular type of affiliate marketing, which is a legit type of online business that has been rapidly growing over the course of the last couple years into what is likely the largest work at home opportunity available.

Unfortunately, this opportunity is a bit misrepresented by Michelle Starr and Real Online Income. They claim that their members will be paid per link they post, and they have chosen an arbitrary value of $15 per link.

The truth is that when you post a link for another company, you are only paid when your link results in a sale for that company, and then you are paid a percentage of the sale, which can vary widely depending on the company and product.

The Opportunity: Real or Fake?

Link posting and affiliate marketing are definitely real ways of earning money online. The problem is not the method of making money, it’s how the method is being presented by Real Online Income.

As already mentioned, you are not paid for each link that you post. Instead, you are paid when you make a sale. And in order to make a sale, you must have lots of visitors come to your website. Anyone who works online will tell you that getting visitors to your website is an incredibly time consuming process – much more than just one hour per day.

They also offer to make your website for you, which means that they will also provide you with hosting and maintenance, which is another monthly fee you’ll have to pay them. And, after you purchase the initial certification course, many of these companies will try and convince you to purchase further training and tools from them to further guarantee your success.

The truth is that before you start investing large sums of money in this opportunity, you should do your own free, online research about affiliate marketing so you understand the industry and what it involves.

  • I got an email to join this opportunity and I instantly smelled a rat. I visited the link to their website and landed on a payment page for $97. When I tried to leave the site my payment was reduced to upto $33 dollars and by then I knew it was a scam.Remember the phrase “you don’t get something for nothing”. Well when you get hit with the online scam real online money (very professional too hahah) keep that in mind. It sounds great and it would be too, i got caught up in it about 15 minutes ago, hahaha. but if it was that good, we wouldn’t be getting hacked emails, and facebooks. do yourself a favor and just stay away.
  • Thanks for the heads up! I hate scamers!
  • Deception and withholding information is greatly used here. If they are legit... check responses from others before submitting your $97.00... and don't forget the monthly fee of $46.00. Did I forget to mention what you will be doing. Surprise! Forget the "FREE" 7 day trial. It is a inducement to be hooked. They make their money on your labors.

What saved my day though was the fact that I have studied Internet marketing for a while and I know the it requires a good deal of hard work and not just pasting links.
