Simpleology.com Reviews – Legit or Scam?

SimpleologySimpleology.com, a website run by internet marketing guru Mark Joyner, is dedicated to a variety of things.  First, Simpleology is a self help method meant to help you focus on your goals, eliminate distractions, and realize your potential.  Secondly, Simpleology.com also features training courses that can help you with your business goals.

Simpleology.com has a free membership program that acts as a sort of introduction to what Simpleology is all about: Simpleology 100.  Once you’ve completed the free program, you can move on to the Simpleology Pro, which costs $7 a month and gives you access to further courses, or you can join Simpleology Elite for $47 a month, which allows you access to everything on the site.

Simpleology.com receives mixed reviews from its customers.  While many people seem very satisfied with the self help, motivational aspect of the courses, there are equally as many people who have said they’ve heard this same approach before, that it’s not really anything new.

Some people love Mark Joyner’s business advice, while others find it unhelpful.  To be fair, Mark Joyner is a very successful internet marketer who has created many well known internet marketing programs over the years.  If you are interested in internet marketing, or the marketing field in specific, you may feel that you get more out of the Simpleology.com courses than others do.

In general, it seems like with many motivational business models, it works for some and not for others.  The one complaint that seemed to come up often was that after signing up for the Simpleology program, people began receiving mass amounts of emails from Mark Joyner and associates he partners with promoting other products and programs for the Simpleology members.  With this in mind, you may want to set up a separate email account to use for Simpleology, unless you’re ok with having your regular inbox flooded with these promotions.

  • I will leave this here. I have been following Mark for a long time (sometime around MindControlMarketing). I think, in general, he means well, but he is a "sales" guy as all who are marketing on the internet are. His skill with sending "hanging" emails is highly adept and will most likely cause one of two reactions - either you will immediately delete the email because you do not want to jump down the rabbit hole or you will allow yourself the time to probe further only to find that you are traveling down a rabbit hole where one email leaves you hanging until the next - I call it a "whirlpool Funnel" that usually leads to an epiphany that is either helpful or makes you smack your forehead and say "Why did I do that again??" As far as the system goes, my feeling is that it is only really effective if you are following it to the letter - that includes the Prioritization module and following the "Do, Delay, Delegate or Dump" method, otherwise your list will continue to grow as you add stuff to it. The system boast of taking a short 5 or 10 minutes first thing in the day to get everything arranged to design your day but depending on your method of getting things done, that 5 or 10 minutes might be "for real" or it might just complicate things further. The system seems to be ready-made for creatives: If you are a simple Get Up, Get Dressed, Go to Work, Come Home and get your important stuff done type of person, then the system seems overly complicated. My one feature that I find to be helpful (as I suffer from shiny object syndrome) is the Dream Catcher. This is a little mechanism that allows you to quickly enter a task, wish, goal, etc on your phone (via text, or whatever method you might use) or computer or almost any device when that idea or flash of brilliance comes up and it will automatically be added to your Simpleology List. This is definitely a mechanism in my mind as it works like a machine allowing you to stay focused on the present task while putting that "would be" idea, goal or thought someplace safe. Unfortunately, you really need to be at the $47 a month Elite level to take advantage of the full power of the trick. I've been Elite a couple of times and when I didn't feel that the system was benefitting me, I simply emailed the support team and they immediately downgraded my status. I understand some people's frustration with what seems like the support folks ignoring them, but between understanding that there is a technological chasm that exists with a large group of people or there is a need for instant gratification (as well as reading some of the comments here that people leave giving you a clear insight on their intelligence level) that some people might feel slighted and unhappy with the system. As you can clearly see, I am not trying to sell you anything as well as I don't really have anything to do with the website that I'm leaving the comment on, but I do believe that we all have an obligation to each other to clarify the truths of a product or service and alleviate the "CNN", "MSNBC" or "Fox News" approach that is so inherent to information dissemination these days. Good luck if you decide to use this system as I do believe that for some people it is clearly a winner but for most , it's like a boat - a hole in the water that you throw money down.
  • Simpleology is a Scam… they charged you 57$, then $97 twice and then monthly Call credit card immediately and cancel card!
  • I have had a terrible, fraudulent experience with Simpleology. I bought one of their courses on a three month payment plan. There is a 30 day money back guarantee. The salesman said "If at any time in the first thirty days you don't want to continue, simply submit a ticket to our customer support for a full no quibble money back refund". I looked through the first installment of the course and thought "Simply not for me and not worth the money." Submitted a support ticket, got an automated response, ticket ignored. I have now submitted four tickets all of them are ignored. Outright scam. I am looking at legal options to take things further. PLEASE TREAD VERY VERY CAREFULLY with Simpleology, a lot of smoke and mirrors.
  • This is the worst software support I have ever experienced. They respond 1x a day so by the time you go back n forth it takes a month to resolve anything, they are super unhelpful. This is a scam for sure
  • i gerald blanchard have two charges on my bank account which i have not giving purmetion to get . i would like for this money to be put back into my account thank you gerald blanchard
    • It does seem like a large scale scam. I cannot get any money back they have stolen several hundred pounds and support won't respond to my tickets.
  • OMG. I signed up for his webinar. Damn thing was 3.5 hours long.

Who got time for that shit?
  • Can you send me a copy of it, just want ot see it before I invest anything with these guys.

    Thx

  • It appears to me (and I've been tricked into signing up a few times) that to join the "Free" version is to join an endless marketing funnel... with very little value. Constant pop-ups with more free stuff... except its not free stuff. Constant emails and worse still is the constant blathering of Joiner.

When your product needs constant marketing, pop-up, email, video support, constant up selling and constant empty promises your product is overpriced. If Joiner were half the "Marketing Guru" that is claimed, he'd realize this. He's the type of sales guy that gives the sales industry a bad name. Lots of hype, not much delivery.... NEVER AGAIN!!
  • I "purchased" a calendar from Simpleology--I paid $9.95 for shipping and handling and the calendar was "free".

Don't waste the time, energy or money. Not worth it!!!!!!!!!

Way too much hype for one phrase. That's what you are paying for.

The calendar is very small and 12 months. The same words are written on EVERY page and the pictures were so so.
  • I think they have their service, but they run it with a few scam gimmicks: spamming AND unnotified jump to a paid subscription. I have not got an e-mail that gives me a choice to proceed to a paid membership or to end right there when the free trial ends. There is no membership cancellation button either!
