Well, the general criticism you’ll hear about the SMC business is simply that the popularity of the business is its own worst enemy.  The more people out there who belong to SMC Corp, the more people are selling the exact same items you are, and possibly for cheaper.  In order to stay competitive, over time you may have to lower your prices, which results in less profit for you.
