Springboard America is a subsidiary of Vision Critical, a global research firm, which pays its members for taking online surveys and providing them with relevant market insight.

Signing up with Springboard America is free and you are immediately able to receive survey invitations for which you can earn Survey Dollars. Survey Dollars can be redeemed for a check, or, if you choose, can be put toward a charitable donation.

In addition to Survey Dollars, Springboard America offers its members entry into prize drawings, where they can earn cash prizes. Just for becoming a member, you will automatically be entered into a drawing for $1000.

Earning Money with Market Research

Earning money with market research is one of the oldest and most popular ways to make money online. However, anyone with experience in market research knows that it is generally a way to make some extra money, not to replace your day job.

The surveys at Springboard America pay anywhere between 50 cents and $5.00, and you can typically expect to receive 1 – 4 survey invitations every month. Also, in order to stay an active member, you must complete at least 1 survey every three months.

In addition, each survey invitation is only good for a particular period of time, and it is different for each survey. So it is important to pay close attention to your email, in order to make sure that you can take as many surveys as possible.

What to Know About Springboard America

Springboard America has few requirements to participate with their online surveys. First, you must be a US citizen and you must be over 14 years old. You also cannot work in the market research field.

Also, though Springboard America lets you choose whether to request a check or to make a charitable donation when you reach your payout amount. Unfortunately, the payout amount is $50.

$50 is considered a high payout amount in the market research industry. It can take a long time to earn that amount of money when you are only receiving a few dollars per survey. Some people may become frustrated and quit before they ever reach their payout.

If you’re interested in doing market research for Springboard America, just keep in mind that you may need to participate for long periods of time before you’ll receive compensation.

  • I finally earned enough points to redeem them for an Amazon reward back on Jan. 5, 2017, but I am still waiting. I have sent several messages to Springboard America, but even when I get a response my Amazon reward never arrives. So, I guess they let me fill out all those surveys with no intention of paying me.
    • I had issues with their surveys and contacted their customer service. Two weeks later I received a completely unhelpful form letter reply from Zendesk. It turns out that Springboard America outsources their customer service to them, which operates out of India. You may want to try the US mailing address on the site because I don't think Zendesk provides anything other than template responses.
  • I actually reached a $50 payout one time and after receiving said $50, I have been denied access to my account 3 separate times between October 2016 and January 2017. Something strikes me as funny because every time I have reported it to them I get the same response "It appears as though you accidentally asked to have your account closed" when this could not be further from the truth. I have finally gotten fed up and just sent them an email saying I'm done and to pay me any funds due to my Paypal account. So good luck with these folks!
  • It was legit until after receiving 5 $50 gift-cards, over the course of 2.5 years of surveys they accused me of "hacking" and terminated my account without notice. Be aware, once they have you by the neck, they won't hesitate to let go of you somewhere.
    • I had the same thing happen to me the beginning of this year. I tried to access my account and my password wouldn't work I contacted them and they said they had cancelled my account. I was not happy at all I had been a member for at least two years. The money I had saved up totally gone. They didn't even bother to tell me I had been let go until I get mailed them to see what was going on with my account! Not happy at all!
  • I wouldlike to no howcome they canceled me when i reached 30.00 and then they canceled me i think that is really not fairthey didnt even informed me andthat is a rip off!!!!!! its a bad survey company!!!!! I will make sure that nobody i no will join them!!!!
  • i had over 26 bucks saved and for no apparent reason, they closed my account. they are a scam.
  • I have been taking surveys with Springboard America now for about 3 months. Well now that I have close to fifty survey dollars, they quit sending me invitations to take the surveys. Seems like a scam! I'm regretting joining now.
  • they claim to pay me my 50 dollars by payulont its been 5 weeks, beginning not to trust this place anymore, they used to send a check no more..would not recommend them
  • This is a legit survey site, and you can make real money off of it. The only downside is the surveys are few and far between and the earnings for each survey are minimal for the amount that you have to earn to cash out. ($50.) Another thing to consider is that they pay through Paylution. Paylution is legit, and you can use the money you cash out to purchase items online or even transfer money to your physical bank account, but your first cash out and Paylution sign up will take from 4-6 weeks to get to you. I actually just got my $50 cash out today and I ordered it in late November of 2015. All this being said, though, it is a nice way to have a little extra money on the side every now and then, and if you combine Springboard America's earnings with earnings from several other survey sites, you can have a good chunk to cover Christmas, birthdays, etc. That's what I do. I say go for it!
  • They pay more then inbox.com,for surveys who is the better?
  • I have been a member of Springboard America and am only half way to the required payout threshold. In my opinion the are a scam in the terms they expect never to have to pay most members.
