Survey Junkie Reviews – Legit or Scam?
from 67 reviews Review It

Survey Junkie, located online at, is a website which offers their members the ability to participate in various forms of market research through a variety of companies in order to earn money from home.

Their website says that with them, you can receive surveys earning between $2 and $75 each, as well as participate in focus groups at up to $120 an hour, and evaluate new products in trials which allow you to keep the products for free.

Signing up with Survey Junkie is free, and only requires an active email account as well as for you to fill out a short questionnaire that will allow them to match you with the appropriate surveys and panels.

Does Survey Junkie Work?

Survey Junkie is not actually a real market research website. Instead, they are more like a lead generation website – they get all of your contact information and instead of supplying you with the actual surveys, they match you with the actual survey providers.

After you submit your questionnaire, you will be asked if you are interested in “more information” on a variety of different opportunities, which is the same as giving your permission to their partner websites to contact you with advertisements and offers.

Once you have bypassed this part, however, they do match you with companies that claim to provide market research opportunities, such as IPSOS.

Is It Safe?

Legit market research companies are safe to sign up with and offer you real ways to earn extra money from home. In general, you can expect to receive a few survey opportunities each week for a payment of $1 to $3 per survey, on average. These companies will generally pay you in cash or gift cards to major retailers like Amazon.

There are, however, many different ways for scam websites to pass themselves off as market research companies. Sometimes they pay you in “points” which then allow you to be entered into a “sweepstakes for prizes” – which means that you will rarely receive any compensation for the work you are doing.

But the thing to be most aware of is “offers” and “trials.” Survey websites will often provide these opportunities to you, and they will pay much more than taking a basic survey.

However, these opportunities require diligence and caution, because often if you do not pay close attention to the details of the offer, you will actually end up spending more money than you will earn for participating in these offers.

When their own site crashes, they blame you for trying to cheat their own system and lock you out from progressing to any payout...

When that doesn't work, they have an impossible verification process to get your first payout (Hence they use and abuse your hours of trust and work for them, Proving This Is Nothing But An Intentional Fruitless Deception)!!!

Well, one thing that I have learned from my childhood is that "Those Who Are Wrong, Always Blame Someone Or Something Else, Rather Than Be The Obvious Focus"!

Well, Survey Junkie Loves To Accuse Their Trusting Participants Of Scamming... (-: What Does That Tell You About Them??? :-)
  • I use my survey junkie. I started with them nov. 28 2017. Today is dec. 22,2017. I have made 79.00 and been paid immediately to my Paypal account. There are times I don't qualify and I have spent a lot of time to earn it. However, I am unemployed anyway, so why not? Me and my hubby are disabled and the money comes in handy. We are able to cook a prime rib for our Christmas and I bought my cats Blue Wilderness cat food and treats. It's all gravy for us and a blessing too! I receive my payments, which I usually take at $10-$15 immediately. If you lack other opportunities, give this a try.
  • Earned $10.00 and they will not let us back on with all correct information. Never got an online job that has been legit.
  • I thought it was great at first, but they just suspended my account for no reason and won't give me my remaining balance, I think they're just cheap and don't want you to make more than a certain amount. Waste of time and effort to be canceled for no reason
    • I've been using them for 2 years and I loved the fast redemption, but recently, during a redemption of $10, they sent me a verification code to my cell, I entered it correctly (checked 3 times), and they locked me out! No phone, written them 3 times, still no answer.

I'll see if the answer next week. I just want my redemption, then going to quit them, which is too bad, because I make $20 a month and reward into my PayPal is immediate. Why can people just do what they say they're going to do & not be so cheap? I want to get paid fairly for the time I put into doing the surveys.
  • You don't know what scam is. I am with 6 survey sites. Surveyjunkie and Tellwut are the best. Try to deal with Vindale - then you will know what scam is. Surveyjunkie pays within seconds. Very often, if you don't qualify for a survey, just for trying, they give you a few cents. No one does that. Customer service is very good.
    • So why won't Survey Junkie pay us anymore without havingh to jump thorugh hoops and wait weeks to contact them?
    • Hey man, does the money go directly into your acct. when redeemed?

Just wanted to understand how it works. It can be wired, or they have that option, correct?
  • I recently had an account with survey junkie and I consider them to be a scam and a waste of time. I told all my family and friends about them but boy was I wrong , They suspended my account accussing me of trying to fraud them. Not ain't that wrong ? RUN DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME !!
  • I've been using the site for two weeks now, and am averaging $10 a week. I cash out right when I hit the minimum amount and I have it sent to my paypal and it is literally there less than 30 minutes later.
  • I got to 10.00 and they now can,t find me in the system I can,t cash out they are a Scam
  • I have been with Survey Junkie for about 6 weeks and have earned over $60 in e-gift cards....I enjoy most of the surveys and have been told some don't load due to 3rd party morons.....The surveys with high points hardly am i eligible....and some are very VERY express on who they are researching....A lot are fun like food and tv and movie things and others are boring and repeticious Scam ? NO But if you're not're not being pressured into taking the survey at all......ENJOY
  • Ive been on Survey Junkie for a few days now and earned a total of 20 bucks in like 5 days. You just have to be persistent at it and you're not gonna get rich quick by any means. Sometimes the surveys are VERY, VERY annoying when you get halfway through and then suddenly you "dont qualify". That gets annoying after awhile. However, I keep getting surveys added onto my account each day, yet when I go to do them, it will either say, "you're disqualified" or "you broke the rules" or "youve already done this survey" when I clearly havent. Thats been happening to me within the past couple days and dont know why. I take my time and answer honestly. So overall, no I wouldnt say its a scam. Ive been very pleased and the money has gone to my Paypal with zero issues so far. Again, you just have to take time and you're NOT gonna get rich quick! The surveys take awhile to complete and to accumulate enough points to redeem take a few days. Not just over night.
