Reviews – Legit or Scam?
from 20 reviews Review It

With companies spending millions of dollars each year on market research, it’s no surprise that people have made make money taking surveys one of the most searched for work at home opportunities.

Most major corporations, like McDonald’s and Starbucks, pay professional market research companies to gather all their information for them. is not a professional market research company.  Instead, it is simply a portal website that brings you to a variety of market research companies that are looking for people in the demographic you represent.

Since Survey Say simply matches you to other, certified market research companies, there is no way to predict how you will be compensated for the surveys you complete.  Some companies require you to create a PayPal account, and you are paid with actual cash deposits into that account.

Other companies reward you with gift cards, prizes, or cash rewards that are different depending on the time of year or type of surveys you are taking.  One thing to always keep in mind when looking at a survey company is that before you are given any compensation, you must either complete a certain number of surveys or reach a certain dollar amount in your account before you can receive any rewards.  You need to make sure this number is a reasonable amount, otherwise you may end up doing lots of work without any compensation at all.

So is a Scam?

Not at all.  The number one concern about any online survey company is whether or not the website is asking you to pay money in order to be a member, or to get access to the surveys.  The reality is that any legitimate paid survey company should always be 100% free for you.

Survey Say is not only completely free to join, they also guarantee that all the survey companies they set you up with will be free to join as well.  They promise that you will not only never pay a fee, you also never be asked to buy any products in order to take part in their market research.

Also, is very clear about explaining to their participants that taking online surveys is not a way to “get rich.”  Instead, it’s simply an opportunity to make some extra money each month.  Few companies, even honest, legitimate companies, actually say this on their homepage, even though everyone who is familiar with the paid survey industry already knows this to be true.

Finally, Survey Say also makes a point of telling their members to sign up with as many survey companies as possible, because no one single company will be able to provide you with enough surveys to be worth your time an effort.  Therefore, working with multiple companies is really the best way to make money taking surveys.

Customer Responses, Reviews, or Complaints

Average Rating for " Survey Say " is 1.75 out of 5 based on 20 reviews.
  • I got sucked into this a few days ago, and every time I tried to answer a survey, it just daisy-chained off to yet another site, which repeated the same process. I mean, that was the "survey" - filling out a registration for yet another "survey" site. It did eventually land on one that sounded like it might be legitimate, but I'm not going to mention the name until I research it better than I did this POS.

I realized I'd been completely had when I started seeing email from all kinds of sites and businesses (probably spoofed) that I know I hadn't come across or approved receiving contacts from. Thankfully I used an email address that I don't normally use for anything else so my main account hasn't been contaminated, but I now need to try to clean it out - which usually just generates more spam .

    Feeling really stupid...
  • Thank you all for your feedback. I decided not to do this because it sounds like a scam.
  • I don't even qualify for their surveys, they ask these daft questions like:

"Do you ever cook in the bathroom?"

"How often do you mail a watermelon?"

and no matter what answer I pick I never qualify, it's stupid!
    • I got disqualified simply for living in NJ on 5 of them after I answered ten Questions.
    • What ever you pick, you don't qualify. Simple as that. Sometimes it'll say your accepted and make you do the survey but nothing. Also, when they say the 10 minutes of "qualification questions" you filled out will not be used, they will. That was the survey. They just deny youjust so you think you shouldn't get money, but you should. That's why I hope that there will be a company that has surveys that can't deny you.
    • It's not stupid. They ask these questions to see if you are actually reading the questions and responding with useable information or just clicking answers to get the points or money. I will agree sometimes it is impossible to qualify for surveys. Sometimes they are looking for a very specific criteria. But the fielder questions that seem stupid are just to see if you are paying attention to what you are reading. Otherwise the responses they receive are completely useless.
    • LOL!!!!! But why don't you ever cook in the bathroom? thats a normal thing!
  • I've been signed up for over a week and received not on survey offer or copy and paste offer. They are completely bogus and don't even offer an unsubscribe like most reputable people. What a total scam. Don't waste your time people, if your smart enough to read the reviews, before you sign up. This will earn you nothing.
  • Survey say is a scam and a waste of time. I have taken hundreds of surveys on this sight and have never been rewarded. You will start a survey for pay,you will answer hundreds of questions over long periods of time up to an hour only to be deemed not qualified for the survey. This will happen over and over again resulting in the answering of thousands of survey questions but never being qualified for the rewards.
    • for real? I was ready to sign up for survey say.... Is it really a scam and do you know any real legit surveys that pay???
  • It is always good to check out a business with the Better Business Bureau. Their website is I did not find any information about them on the Better Business Bureau's website. This does sound like a scam. I would not try it! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Use your best judgment when trying out companies that you do not know and are not located in your area. Stick with people, who you know and trust!
    • BBB certification is bogus as well. I've dealt with some companies who have an A rating with 20+ complaints. If you pay, you too can have a good rating with the BBB.
    • Just because a company isn't BBB certified doesn't mean it's a scam. There are a lot of legit and successful businesses who are not part of the BBB rating system.
  • aint nobody got time for that!!!!
  • i would just like to know if u really get paid for these surveys someone plz write back
    • I don't know about this particular site because this seems to be a site that refers you to OTHER survey sites. There are survey sites that do pay. I have received pay from several. Just google search. I am not putting them here because I am tired of people not using MY referral link. And no, you will not get rich. And it takes a LOT of time. And yes, sometimes you complete the survey and they deny you payment, sometimes you spend 20 minutes doing the survey only to be told you do not qualify. But over all the sites I am a member of it is worth it. But after reading these reviews is NOT going to get my information. I saw it listed on a job board as a JOB. lol.

Contrary to what some people say on here not all survey sites are a scam. You do have to go by their rules and you can't have 15 accounts and refer yourself to try to cheat the system and make more money.
