TheYouthJob.com

The Youth Job, found online at TheYouthJob.com, is a work at home opportunity which describes themselves as a large scale marketing and referral company, established in the United States in 2010.

The goal of this company is to recruit young, youthful members who are well versed in the use of the internet and social media, and who personally describe themselves as daily users of online interaction.

People who fit this description are invited to join their network, in order to use their daily internet interactions as a way to quickly and easily earn money, doing what they would normally be doing online.

What Is TheYouthJob.com?

Though The Youth Job describes themselves as a marketing company, the closer reality to describe what they do is “traffic generation.” Traffic is the word used to describe the number and kind of visitors that visit a website on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The goal of any website is to have high traffic, because the more unique visitors you have access to, the higher chance you have of selling a product or service.

When you become a Youth Job member, you will be given a personalized link which you will be asked to share on your social media, as well as to email it to friends and family members. When people follow the link you have posted, they will be taken to a specific website that has paid TheYouthJob.com to increase their website’s traffic.

The website says that they will pay their members $5.00 “for every link visit/opening by your friend” and that their members will be able to withdraw their money as soon as their account reaches $300.00.

The Problems

Marketing and traffic generation are legitimate jobs in today’s internet based business and economy. Many websites do pay other companies to increase their traffic, and one way to do this is to ask others to promote the website via links on social media.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few problems with this company and the opportunity they are offering. First, they are paying members $5.00 a link and refusing to let them withdraw their money until they reach $300.00. Though it may not seem very difficult to get 60 different friends or family members to click a random, non-specific link, this is not as easy as it seems.

In addition, this website describes themselves as a “marketing and referral company in the United States of America” though it is obvious from the text on the site that this company is operated in a foreign country and run by someone who does not speak English well. This is only important if the website decides they aren’t actually going to pay their members the money they owe them. If this company is actually operated out of a foreign country, there will be no legal recourse for the members who are owed money.

In general, the best advice would be for people to avoid this company and look for another way of earning money on a part time basis.
