DreamTrips Life is a new membership based travel club which promises that they can make it possible for anyone, who lives on any budget, to experience more and take world class vacations.
According to their video presentation available at VacationSooner.com, DreamTrips realized that people want to take amazing vacations and have “bucket list” experiences, but feel they can’t because of money issues.
So DreamTrips created a vacation club which could offer 5 star experiences to their members at 2 or 3 star prices. All you have to do is pay a one time activation fee of $200.00 and a monthly fee of $55.00.
How the Club Works
Using the same bulk buying strategies of companies like CostCo and Sam’s Club, DreamTrips buys tickets, books hotel rooms, and arranges experiences in large numbers so they can get discounted prices which they pass on to their customers, so they can then “Vacation Sooner.”
In addition, all the fees you pay to them are accumulated throughout your membership and then turned into Reward Points which can then be applied to Reward Trips. Every year on the anniversary of your sign up, you will receive 660 points. 1 point is equal to 1 dollar, and when these points are attributed to a trip, it will be discounted by that amount.
They also have an Online Mall, which features over 900 stores, including major retailers like Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and more. Each time you make a purchase at one of these stores through their Online Mall, a portion of the purchase cost will be added into a Vacation Bank for you and can be attributed to vacations you book at later times.
The Business Opportunity: Getting Started
Customers who choose can not only be Vacation Sooner members, but also representatives who can earn money by selling WorldVentures memberships to new members. All you need to do is pay a one time $99 activation fee and a monthly fee of $11.
Once you refer four active members – who maintain their membership – your monthly membership dues will be waived for as long as those members remain active.
After that, the earning matrix is dependent on how many members you sign up within certain periods of time. The video presentation does not mention monetary compensation; most of the compensation referenced is that of bonuses and sweepstakes entries.
If you are interested in becoming a vacation club member or a representative, or are looking for details about what recourse you have should you have complaints or issues with their trips or memberships, you’ll need to refer to their website or find an active representative in your area to get specifics.
Travel Club Controversy
Travel clubs do not have the best reputations, historically speaking, because of past trends with clubs taking members’ dues and then not honoring travel arrangements due to blackout dates and other limitations.
New travel clubs are trying to change these perceptions and create new understandings of their opportunities, though you will have to reach out to existing members to find proof of whether or not these new companies are worthwhile. Current members who are familiar with this organization are invited to please leave their reviews below.
If you're not waking up every morning and running your own biz, producing the product, managing the books, dealing with vendors, shipping, storage, and all of the above on your OWN; you are working in a pyramid! If you have a CEO, Regional manager, supervisor etc... you are in a pyramid and those at the top level are paid more. If network marketing is not for you, get your panties out of a bunch and go back to work building someone else's dream!
Getting online hoping to pass on your ignorance (lack of knowledge on the company) is very unproductive for you, and you're not going to avert those risk takers, like myself, who are not afraid to push themselves to get more out of life. I've been with world Ventures for a few months and it has been awesome. Network Marketing is not for everybody. It is stated many time that the results are TYPICAL (They DO NOT SAY GAURANTEED!)...
I'm a military member and I love what I do. I have no complaints on where I am in life. I'm also an investor and every investor knows what diversity is. Me being the risk taker that I am, I view this as another easy stream of income. The way I looked at it was, I'm risking a little under $300 bucks to possibly add more to my families life. If this is a 'scam' then it's not life altering funds. The loss wouldn't have me standing on the corner with a sign ad a cup asking for change or moving my family up under the nearest bridge.
Whether you open your own bakery, barbershop, record label, flower shop, clothing line, daycare etc... you're taking a risk and you'll have to put up some type of funds to get started. It's an investment, and most businesses don't do very well in their first year.

If $200 to start and $55 a month. That’s $860 the first year. $660 every year after. If you go on 2 vacations a year, do you save that much money?
This membership cost less than a trip to Walmart or the mall. You gain a life time of memories and experiences, not junk that clutters up your house.
I got some snake oil remedy in the trunk of my BMW for anyone that wants to shed off that unsightly illness, acne, fat, or ingrown toenails. All you have to do is join my interest free club, become employed with said club, and sucker 4 or more in the club to get all these awesome benefits.
I began my venture less than a year ago, have been on two dream vacations and they were just that! I have also made 20 times my initial investment by sharing with family and friends. People who couldn't take their families on vacation because of the cost can do it now. It's a no brainier.... Check REAL FACTS, don't take the word of an uninformed individual. I haven't paid a monthly fee since I joined, but the company still puts the $50 a month into my account. For an investment of $361 I have a lifetime membership in the most elite travel club in the WORLD!
I'm earning money, at the least $100 a week, since my advancement in the company it's MUCH MORE than that.
So you think it's a scam? Good enough, we'll keep having great vacations, making beautiful family memories while making money, and you keep working out dead end job
I have read some reviews and also a traveler myself both for works and vacation. This is a pyramid marketing. I don’t know much about it and I have a meeting set up with one of the representative to talk about some data and number. But here is my thought. I have traveled 1 time every single month for the last 3-4 years, been on over 31 countries in the world both for business and vacation and actually platinum on most of hotel group and airlines. The reason I am open mind about this is for couples of reason
POTENTIAL PROS – (but these are only potential ….not guarantee yet until I can cross comparison simultaneously booking through my own computer with Vacation Sooner agent / sale rep computer to see which one has a better deal )
1. Save time on booking – because every time I travel I have to search multiple search engine and call agent to get the best price for airline and hotel , but hotel and airplane ticket must be a good one. Of course they can post 5 stars or 4stars online but when you check in, it looked like a 2star hotel. That happened to me a few time
2. Flexible date/ no black out, and the number of place/hotel/resort that you can travel too has to be big. I know through online search engine they are massive, but through this Vacationsooner group . I am not sure how big is the list of hotel and resort. SO there’s maybe a limitation on that
CONS
1. They said you can use point for your vacation , but all of the vacation has Cap on it. There are max allowable point you can use. For example, Vegas Vacation cost 300 dollar (point) , if you already have 500 point, you can only use 100 point toward it , and still have to pay out of pocket 200 dollars. SO in a way, you can’t really have a free vacation . Compare to traditional membership like Cruise / Airline/ Hotel – I have use free ticket/ hotel and cruise many times before for being platinum member – and Traditional membership with those are actually FREE – no cost for initial membership.
2. This is the idea of saving money to do a vacation – pay first then money come back to you when you use it. The video said if you pay monthly 25 dollar and + 100 dollar initially , then all of it can convert to point. So here is the math 100 initial + 25/month x 12 month = 400 dollar that you pay out of your pocket , and you get back in point but it has to mature in 1 year. Also, if you book a vacation, you can’t use all 400 point, you can only use some of the 400 point, unless you book like a really expensive vacation i.e. 2000 and then use all 400 point , you still end up paying 1600 dollar. BUT in reality , that 400 point that you get discount for IS YOUR MONEY to begin it. A good analogy is like Putting money in the saving account, and continue to put money in the CD or saving account , and can’t really use it all when you need it, and over time , you don’t really earn interest . and if in case you don’t like it and want to close it or end your membership, you lose all the money that left in that bank account.
Bottom line, I think this concept of Pyramid marketing have been done before, i.e. similar to other companies Nuskin, Mary Kay, Obage … for marketing on skin care product. The reason I give it some point is because it’s still better than Insurance ….lol….because every one of us still have to pay for our insurance monthly but we never get to use it. and in the case that we use it, it’s a headaches and we never get back the money value that we pay for. However , as for investment concept. This is not an investment, because I rather put my Money into Saving account , CD, or stock market, Earn EXPONENTIAL as well , and then when I need a vacation , I’ll take it out and pay for a vacation. and earn traditional point through hotel / air/ resort ,..etc. because if you know most of hotel/car/air point don’t apply if you book through a 3rd party agency.
Hope this help
