Legitimate Online Survey Companies

Online surveys are a great opportunity for anyone in need of some extra money. Market research companies are willing to compensate you to complete these surveys because they believe that the information you provide them with will help them do better business for their target markets.

Below is a list of legitimate online surveys companies that are free to join and will reward you for giving them your opinions. Remember, you should never have to pay to join a survey website as all legitimate survey companies are free to join.

Here are some quick tips to making the most of online surveys…

These companies are looking for specific types of individuals to complete their surveys, so the more honest you are when completing your questionnaire, the more likely you are to receive appropriate surveys that you will be successful in completing.

Soon, you’ll start receiving survey invitations. Don’t take too long to accept these invitations as they may fill up without you. Once you’ve accepted a survey invitation, each individual survey will ask you to answer a few introductory questions to make sure that you are an ideal candidate for that particular survey.

Online paid surveys can pay anywhere between $1 and $10 on average, depending on the length of the survey, with some specialized surveys paying up to $25.

The more surveys that you are invited to, the more surveys you’ll be able to complete which results in more earnings for you. Not all survey companies will have surveys for you to do at all times so I recommend joining several survey companies in order to increase the number of surveys invitations you receive.

  • I am good at surveys and will love to start up here.
  • I think it would be nice trying out surveys.
  • Hey. I just wanted to comment on this. This is the very first time I've commented on a forum before, so it's a little important....Both MySurvey and GlobalTestMarket are now LifePoints, by the way.....back probably three years ago I funded my whole holiday shopping by doing surveys. I made three HUNDRED dollars with GlobalTestMarket, over several months of course. I used to do MySurvey but I didn't care too much for it, but I made a little with them. But anyway, all together that year I had earned a little over six hundred dollars on all of my survey sites. I was very happy with that.
  • I'd sure like to do your surveys,,,,I'm a retired RN and nice. thanks
  • I have been using Toluna for over 5 years, and started using LifePoints.

The only reward I redeem are Paypal cash, and it is not a scam. They do payout, but have to wait about 3-5 weeks to get credited.

On average, I make about $10 per month. In my country, $10 can give you 3 meals. AKA, you can't expect to make tons of $$ on these, but it's also better than nothing.

Toluna is the most fun for me, since they have a community where you can post random stuff and ask for votes/comments. They also have a daily wheel you can spin to have a chance to earn some points (Usually you get nothing)

I only do these surveys when I'm at work and have some time to spare.

I have not tried other sites yet since doing survey can actually be quite time-consuming...
  • What about those sites that ask the same questions do you smoke do you own a home and then they want you to sign up for magizine, diet pills ect and you have to pick one to go to the cash surveys are they real
  • I work hard to often not be able to tell if I am being scammed or not
    • If you do the math, it pays VERY little on almost all survey sites, amounting to about 30 to 70 cents an hour. The problem is it can be very hard to qualify for surveys. I have frequent days when I put in 12 hours on various websites, all to end up with $2-$3. It's highly unpredictable, but even with days this long, my average pay has been about $7.50 a day, doing this for about 3 -4 months now. THESE ARE AN ABSOLUTE FINANCIAL LAST RESORT for that last $10 of rent money, and nothing more than a scam of at least some magnitude. Even the "legitimate" survey sites are at least clearly pulling minor scams. They know almost all of their customers are impoverished, so, like most people, they take advantage of the poor and less fortunate. Unfortunately, don't count on this for any more than a VERY paltry amount of money. But, hey, at least they attempt to mask this theft with good old PC (a term that, upon analysis, means nothing, but at least they think it makes them look shiny and sparkly.) Watch these companies carefully.
  • Most of these surveys suck. You jump thru dozens of hoops, have to buy stuff and then you still don't qualify for anything. I messed with many of them for about a month then quit all of them. They are a waste of peoples time.
  • My problem is I'm retired and after doing the 10-minute qualifying round I'm turned down. Never get any. I don't think they want retirees.
  • I think I am qualified to take your surveys, I am retired and it's something I would enjoy.
