Awesome Penny Stocks

AwesomePennyStocks.com is a website that offers a free subscription to an investment newsletter that targets the buying and selling of penny stocks.  In exchange for simply supplying your email address, you will get a newsletter with stock recommendations that allegedly rise in cost on a regular basis, allowing you to earn payouts on your investment.

Penny stocks is a term used the market to reference stocks that trade for under $5.00.  Awesome Penny Stocks generally seems to limit the stocks they investigate and promote to being those that actually trade at less than $1.00.

While it may seem hard to believe (or not so hard to believe, given the current financial situation in the US) that there are legitimate stocks being traded at less than $1.00 a share, it is true.  Penny stocks are also called “micro cap equity” and have been around for a long time.

So is Awesome Penny Stocks a Scam?

It’s hard to say definitively whether Awesome Penny Stocks is a scam, but it is definitely dangerous.  First of all, penny stocks are notoriously easy prey for price manipulation.  This means that a company like Awesome Penny Stocks can purchase a large amount of potentially worthless stock, recommend it to their subscribers, who purchase the stock causing the price to rise, and then the company sells their stock, causing the the stock price to drop again.

This is a well established problem with companies that recommend penny stocks, even long before the Internet became the go-to investment guide.

Another serious problem with Awesome Penny Stocks is that they admit in their Disclaimer that they accept money from third party companies, and therefore admit to being biased when reviewing these companies.  This means that Awesome Penny Stocks could be taking money from companies for the purpose of recommending their stock to their subscribers in order to bring up the price of their particular stock.

And if those problems aren’t warning enough, Awesome Penny Stocks also freely admits in their Disclaimer that no one who works for them actually has any sort of training or certification as far as investment advising is concerned.  So really, if you were interested in penny stocks, you would be much better off researching and choosing them on your own, than taking a chance with a company that admits to taking money from companies who might wish to promote their own stock.

  • Does anyone think TAGG has potential as being a real company ??

  • Hi. I’ve been watching AwesomePennyStocks a long time. It is true they are a biased pump scheme, but most of their picks do go up initially after they recommend them for a few days up to 3-4 weeks, and then eventually crash. So it is true that their picks do go up after they start e-mailing them for free to people, but you have to be wise to buy right away then sell after a rise after a few days. Just ride the pump & don’t hold it beyond a certain period once it starts to crash while they are telling you to hold. I observed VLNX, PRTN, TAGG, FARE, SWVI… & those are their most of their recent picks that did perform, so if you sold them in less than 2-4 weeks after they recommended them– then you did make money—- to be fair. What I say here is the main point most people are missing at this review board. SWVI most recently was recommended at .30 or less in mid-January 2013, & it did rise to a peak of 1.00 on February 20, then a sell off pattern developed. If anyone held thru those 4+ weeks of gains & did not make any money, then it is their fault for being too stupid for not selling. This service does pump, but a person just needs to know to ride the pump then dump soon after. SVEN(December 2012 pick) was the only one that did not rise very long after they started promoting it, but all other stocks since about August 2012 thru March did do a great pump upward following allowing people time to sell for profits. Just giving honest analysis here. But they are a pump scheme and should not be trusted to hold their stocks very long; that's the main lesson to know.
  • Obviously they are only looking out for themselves. But know the game. SWVI gave plenty of chances for profit. Most pumps are dumped the next day, but this one ran up for a month. Buy and sell on the pump, NEVER wait for the dump.
  • It's a SCAM. I have seen so many of their penny stocks pumped and dumped on cost of innocent people's hard earned money. Hope SEC charges them for this fraud. This is blatant robbery in the day light. Recent pick was SWVI which they started pumping near $0.6x and now it trades at $0.1x. They should be investigated, charged and punished for this continuous fraud.
    • Sites like awesome penney stocks are great money makers for traders. No need for the sec to get involved and ruin a good thing like the government loves to do. Try taking some responsibility for your trades instead of blaming your losses on others.
    • Are you kidding? If you do even the smallest bit of due diligence when investing in any of these companies you will realize right away that its a pump job. Even typing "SWVI stock" or "GOFF Corp" into google and you see all kinds of sites popping up warning you they're pump jobs. So if a person invests into a pump job without actually bothering to research what they're putting their money into then its their own fault if they lose out. If these peoples' money is so hard-earned then why don't they bother doing the smallest modicum of research when investing with it?

  • 2 people said i was wrong, guess what, swvi is now down to .125 cents a share, wrong was i???? those that said that had to hooked up with awesomepenny stocks
  • Awesomoe penny stocks recently sent out an email puting CGLD stock symbol on their customers watch/buy list. I will call it. They pumped up the stock bringing out all of the so called good points. The next 2 trading days the stock is hammered down, about 40 percent.

Stay away from Awesome stocks because the crap they are pumping is nothing even close to being awesome!

I think a company that is paid to pump garbage stocks, should be at least forced to purchase the stock after they have pumped it.

Then maybe they would think twice about pedding B.S. to decent people who are trying to make a living!

STAY AWAY FROM AWESOME STOCKS AND SEND THEIR EMAILS TO THE SPAM FOLDER
