iRazoo is a rewards site that gives its members points for doing all the things they would normally do online, which members can then take and exchange for prizes.

iRazoo members earn points when they fill out surveys, play games, watch videos, search the internet, complete offers, and more. You can also earn points by referring friends and family to use iRazoo as well.

For every friend you refer to iRazoo, you receive 50 points, and then matching points for all the points your friend earns, up to 3000 points.

iRazoo also offers Treasure Codes for their members who are Facebook fans. These Treasure Codes are worth a different amount of points and are only occasionally offered, though iRazoo members who are also Facebook fans will receive updates on their availability.

Rewards networks are able to compensate their members because they collect information on you use the internet, and then this information is sold to companies or advertisers.

iRazoo will sometimes provide your contact information to these companies so they may offer you deals or promotions, but if you do not want your information shared, you can choose to opt out of that feature.

  • If I could give a negative rating for a review, I would. I never thought I'd be one of those people that would start a review with such a statement, but iRazoo has managed to bring it out of me. Here's a summary of my story regarding iRazoo:

I used an iRazoo shopping portal to make a few purchases that totaled over $1000 worth on a website. That was in October 2014. It is now the end of January 2015. I have still received no points. Their customer service has been dreadful and insulting, and I've been in contact with them since late October. I have complied with all of their requests, such as sending them purchase receipts, order numbers, dates of purchases, etc. iRazoo has tried to tell me every excuse as to why they can't give me the points: they've accused me of not clicking through the shopping portal before the purchases (it's not that hard to click a shopping portal button and then make a purchase immediately afterwards), they've claimed that the number of points on the shopping portal is not actually the number of points you earn (ummm what???), and even told me that the website I made the actual purchases from using iRazoo's shopping portal was providing iRazoo with a lower dollar figure than what I had actually paid, thus they wouldn't be paying me the points I earned (which when I checked directly with the website I purchased from, was not the case. So iRazoo was flat out lying).

Each time they would send me one of these ridiculous excuses, I challenged them on the facts, and then they would come at me with some other bizarre angle on why I haven't gotten my points. After several months of dealing with them as well as getting the company I made the purchases from involved so they could help me with dealing with iRazoo, I still have not received my points. iRazoo claims they are still waiting to hear back from their parent company, at least that is the latest excuse they've latched on to and have managed to drag this issue out even longer. They have not responded to me in several weeks as of now. My advice for anybody thinking of using this site, DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY avoid using it, especially as a shopping portal. I would recommend skipping iRazoo altogether and going with Swagbucks or Mypoints. I've used Mypoints as a shopping portal for some purchases in the past and got the points rather promptly, and on one occasion I had to contact them for the points, and I got them once they were able to confirm the purchase, etc. None of these misleading excuses that iRazoo has churned out and spewed at me.

Regarding other things about iRazoo, their search engine sucks and doesn't even work half the time (when I search, no results will appear, even after clicking the search button multiple times). Their rewards are costlier than related sites such as Swagbucks, and I've found that without a shopping portal purchase, their points are difficult to accumulate rapidly, so I don't even bother with them anymore, other than trying to get the issue I've outlined above resolved.

I can't express how bad my experience with iRazoo has been. Even if I end up finally getting the points I earned, it will not change the experience I've had and they have tarnished themselves by treating me, the customer and the one who earns them revenue by using their site/services, as an idiot.
  • At first it seemed legit, but they sent me an amazon gift card that had already been used. When I email them they don't reply.
  • There are two main sites I use to earn cybermoney: SwagBucks is my primary one along with iRazoo to the side. This helps me get Amazon gift cards for my college books and Christmas presents if I get enough. iRazoo used to be pretty good but recently, they have changed their program a bit so that they have the ability to catch cheaters who watch the videos because most people who cheat use bots which run the program on its own without the person actually being there. In the first week of February, they made this program effective. However, the people who tend to be perfectionists like me are very structured and therefore there perfectionist behaviors will mock the behavior of a bot. Suppose if you are doing the videos, before the new system was enacted without telling anybody, some people watched different videos while other people watched the same video for points and just refreshed it. The behaviors that tend to mock a bot would be to refresh the video at every 30 second mark so it would appear you were not clicking the videos yourself. There are honest people on the site who then ended up getting denied gift cards because of the lack of communication between the site and its users. Some of its users still use it but primarily, the ones who worked hard to earn points are frustrated and have quit the site for good because they feel cheated.

Another thing to note is that they have a poor system with customer support. In my experience, they used to be pretty good at communicating but recently, when you communicate a problem with them, it takes a week for them to get back to you about the problem now and the whole process just ends up frustrating the user of the site. It is not a user friendly program and I do not recommend it.
