Automated Home Profits

Automated Home Profits (www.AutomatedHomeProfits.com) is the latest version of a notorious home business opportunity.  The sad fact is that this program incites so much negative customer feedback that the owners have to continually change the name and look of the website.

However, for those who’ve seen it before it’s fairly easy to recognize as they keep the same basic template.  Automated Home Profits used to be called the Quick Cash Kit and is also using some elements of the Home Income Cash System sales page.

Take a look at the screenshot of the Quick Cash Kit, which is a rearranged version of the Automated Home Profits website.

The reason for all the customer complaints, hundreds on this site alone, is due to several factors.  This program is sold using various deceptive tactics, the most notable of which is the infamous fake news article.  They advertise a story about a young single mom who is supposedly using the Automated Home Profits kit to make a great living online.

These fake news articles make use of an IP reading script which tailors the “newspaper” to fit your home town, a shady trust building tactic which sometimes backfires on them when people from small towns realize that no such newspaper exists where they’re from.

In the past programs like Automated Home Profits were sold using a sneaky continuation billing scheme in which your small S&H payment automatically enrolled you in a high cost monthly subscription plan.  But in this case they’re selling the program for a onetime payment of $9.97.

Now you should be asking yourself, why would someone who had a system for earning up to $375 a day, as they claim, sell it for only 10 bucks.  The answer is simple: not only is that a completely made up earnings figure but they sell their program cheaply in order to get you in the door, after which they tell you that to really succeed you need additional hosting, software, coaching, and so on until you’ve spent hundreds of dollars.

Is Automated Home Profits a Scam?

I would not recommend that anyone buy this program, for the simple reason that they have to keep changing names and websites.  If no one complained about this course then it would still be sold under its original name, with a list of real testimonials and not complaints.

The worst part about this company is with the brazen manner that they manipulate their customers.  They barely make an effort to hide the fact that this is just a recycled course; they didn’t even bother removing the old program’s name from their disclaimer.  They leave a trail a mile long and don’t seem to care.

The good news is that Automated Home Profits is being sold through ClickBank, a 3rd party payment processor which has a no questions asked 60 day money back guarantee.  So if you have purchased the kit you can easily get your money back.

  • Hello!

This is very clever. They abuse these sites called news11.com and CNN and Smart names to make you believe they are legitimate. news11.com doesn't exist and I tried searching for news11.com on google but nothing. There is nothing about this automated crap there.

They also used Google's name to attract their prey. OMG this is so legitimate looking site. Can't those big companies whose names are being abused sue this scam site?
  • Hi Guys,

Thanks for your posts. I was on the verge of entering my credit details, with the 'clock ticking at 5 places left' - I now see that is the tipping tactic that catches even the most diligent. Anyhow for what it's worth my suspicion was raised when checking all the links on the 'news' letter - alarmingly all, 'business, politics, home etc all returned me to the same automated profit advert pages.

For those who tipped over the line of being suckered, thanks for posting, as it does give an insight for others to be aware - so in some small way you have helped to raise awareness of this as a scam.
  • Hi, seems like I'm one of many. I have overlooked these ads so many times thinking to myself (SCAM) but today curiosity got the better of me, I wanted to know what products there were etc and the obvious- can you genuinely make that kind of money from online marketing.

If its a product you believe in possibly, but what this company offers is for you to accumulate costs trying to generate traffic on to sites most of us would avoid. think of the glossy colourful pop ups linked to streaming web sites, thats what they want you to 'manage' and at every turn they are looking to get more money from you.

They say as a VIP you are meant to get support and training, but in reality that's only for the VIP's who upgrade to the PRO package. Once the site is finally set up, ( only one available to 'FREE' members) they will ask for money to generate clients or you will need to pay for advertising.

In short, whoever thought this up will be raking it in and I would imagine if not fabricated the screen shots of earnings belong to the proprietor. The money they're asking would be better spent on setting up an e-bay shop ( only £6 a month) and all you need to do is start off small whether that is purchasing from overstock or wholesalers.

  • does anyone know how to get in touch with them, I would like to request a refund but can't see how. And since I (stupidly) purchased some of those 'upgrades', do I have to apply for different refunds (PayPal, clickbank, etc.)?
  • Got a refund through Clickbank feel a bit miffed I allowed myself to be duped. Once bitten twice shy from now on !
  • I am doing research for a uni assignment and was wondering what this 'automated home profits' scam actually requires you to do? I looked at their site but they don't exactly give a job description.
  • Well here's yet another sucker!! Me! I clicked on a facebook advert......grrrrr! Stupid me! Have signed up for the $AUD20 scam..... ugh - managed to resist the 'pro' nagging, but I want my $20 back. I paid through paypal thankfully so hopefully no more can be taken without my knowledge. I've been to Clickbank and found their site is undergoing 'updates' whatever for the next day or so *sigh* does this make me more concerned? Yes!

Now what? Any further ideas before I contact paypal? Thank you everyone for helping before I paid out more. To those who did - I'm sorry - it could have been so easy to do - I can see why you did! Time to get this scam off the web!

  • Come on people. There are no perfect online businesses and yes there are a lot of scams out there. But all it takes is research and lots of it. Contact the BBB, check out the complaint issues, read the fine print. Research how long the company has been in business. If you have a bad feeling in your gut then don't do it. If you have a good feeling about it and you have experience with marketing and using the internet then go for it and do your research. Utilize all the marketing tips these companies give you to your advantage (in other words beat them at there own game). You just can't sit back and not work, put some time into something and expect to get paid. You just can't. Also, don't expect to get rich or have hundreds of dollars coming to you overnight or the first week or so. You have to work at it buy advertising, marketing, and blogging. So, yes, you may not work from outside the home, but you are still working (maybe not physically but mentally) from within the home.

Just Research and go by your gut not by others negative views. Do your homework, it's that simple.

    Good Luck!
  • i was wondering if anyone has been able to request a refund. i am trying to request a refund at the moment and i have followed jay's instructions but when i get to the support ticket and fill everything out it doesn't allow me to submit my request can anyone help please.
  • I realized this was scammy when they started asking for more and more money so I immediately requested cancellation and refund. This was on October 13th and I have tried every way to contact them. A guy emailed and tried to get me to wait 2 weeks. I said no. I have tried to contact them by returning their emails, but all my emails have been rejected. I have no address or phone for them. I must have been nuts when I fell for this. I am usually careful. Now I will try to get a refund from ClickBank. Thanks, Constance
