Davison Inventions

Davison Inventions (www.InventionConcept.com) is a company that claims to take people’s ideas of new inventions, and turn them into reality. Davison says that it will take your idea through all the steps necessary to get your invention onto the market, from research and development to licensing to getting it onto the shelves.

Davison’s website claims that you have the ability to submit your idea to them knowing that you have full confidentiality and protection.  Once your idea is submitted, you will receive a one on one consultation about the viability of your idea, and whether or not you should begin the process to take your idea further.

Davison claims to have a variety of agreements available for potential clients.  Some services they offer will require you to pay one time, up front fees, while others will require you to commit to an agreement where Davison receives a percentage of royalties from your invention.

From Dream to Reality

“Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door.” From the time that man created fire, there has been an innate desire to come up with better ways of doing things. If you take a minute to look around you, at the things we take for granted every day, you’ll see the evidence of people’s invention dreams that came to life.

But, unlike the picture painted in Hollywood films, most of these inventions weren’t created in someone’s basement and then magically appeared on the market. Inventions must go through an intense process of research and development – is it truly an original invention? Is there someone else out there with a comparable idea or existing product? Is this invention already in the works?

At times an idea must be patented, which can be an expensive and complicated process. After that, an invention must often be licensed to another company or corporation to produce and distribute, because individuals usually lack the money necessary to fund the actual supply of product needed for the market.

Davison Inventions claims to help you through this long, arduous process, and to get your invention on the shelves of major retailers like Target, WalMart, Home Depot, and others.

Davison Inventions Success Stories?

Well, the truth is that when you research Davison Inventions, you are going to hear much more about heartbreak and failure than you will about success stories.  In fact, Davison was ordered to pay $26 million in restitution to former clients after they were sued by the Federal Trade Commission and lost.

The lawsuit determined that clients of Davison would often pay upwards of $10,000 toward costs and services, and that less than 1% of their clients ever saw a return higher than what they invested with Davison.

In addition, they were told to stop promoting themselves as being linked to major retailers. However, if you look at their current website it seems fairly obvious that they are walking a fine line in adhering to this court order.

Their landing page is covered in logos from major retailers, with information offering that inventions processed through Davison are sold at all of these stores. While there is no official statement saying they have a relationship with these companies, the implication is still there.

Finally, the lawsuit ordered that Davison refrain from acting as though their services are selective, since they were found to take anyone’s idea through the research and development process as long as they paid the fees. This is a bad sign for those looking to process an invention, because it means that you can’t trust Davison’s evaluation of your invention’s potential.  If they are simply willing to take everyone’s money who comes to them, it’s easy to see how 99+% of their customers never saw a profit from their dealings with Davison.

  • Gave them my idea and followed upnwith the payments of the deposit they wanted to movemy product to completion. Many times they told me my idea was moving through stages. They gave me sketches they said were engineering products. I lostmy job and stopped paying.

I was also convinced that the colmpany works with chain stores. thought

But now I am convinced from other investors stories that they are not.

They still write tome to encourageme to pay some money to movemy product. I accept that i lost somemoney to them. I wouldliketo get it back and would collaborate with anybody to recover the money.

Let's make them return our money and stop swindling people.
  • I did a voluntary exchange of some of my drawings by text in 2015, signing away my rights with their clever wordage.A year later, the simple useful design was being made in Japan and then sold on Amazon in 2016 .I knew it was my design.I was stunned at the greediness of not sharing the profits and jobs it created.I am a hard worker and I would build the it. They turn off any people they leave in the dust for legal reasons. They are shiesty. Traitors in the simple business sense of their homeland America. I think it is because they get away with mistreatment over seas that never gets reported or corrected. And they have a good front. I am Fair Trade believer and Business Karma does exists. I would never force degrading labor ANY people. AND then as time passed, the company landed in Japanese court and it all came out in Covid19 like a strange omen. Keep your design offline,it can get more twisted than you know.

I am glad I am not apart of.I hope and pray this works out and blesses the deserving good Japanese workers.
  • they scammed me out of 14 thousand dollars and claim they shipped me my prototype Thank you for trying to help me.

These people are horrible. They promised me a working prototype. I entered into a contract with them in July of 2018.

After numerous phone calls saying my product had moved into yet another stage of production.

I waited until they informed me it was completed. I called their bluff and asked them to send me it so I could see my invention.

They are now claiming they sent it to my home address which is 1080 Highway 64 ne New Salisbury Indiana 47161.

When I emailed the gentleman that said he shipped it to me I confirmed where he shipped it to and he said that address I just gave you.

When I turned them into the BBB they are saying I got it and I did not. I have fake fedex's receipts from they and it clearly says it was not shipped to me

but instead it went to some man (who supposedly signed for it) by the name of B Robinson in a city called limerick. I couldnt tell you who this person is and I clearly

dont live in Limmerick. When I asked them about it they said I was on my own basically too bad.

I gave these people 14 thousand dollars and they have clearly robbed me.

I have an entire slew of messages concerning the delivery between myself and the company. I will insert them here.

I am praying you or someone can help me stop these people from doing this to people. I am a single mom of 3 kids and this is just not fair.
  • We are in a pandemic and I told the representative that I will not be able to continue funding the project. Why shouldn't I receive a refund? None of the work has started. I need my money back. Can anyone help? If so, please contact me at [email protected].
  • I was contacted yesterday by Jamie and I recorded our whole conversation & she emailed me an 11 page contract to sign and give them around $800!!!!! So glad I looked at reviews BCZ I could have been another one of their targets!!! Also if my idea is used by them I will sue these SOB’s to the end!!!
  • Davison is a scam. They say your idea is wonderful, "don't go out & buy a corvette just yet" take your money, (several times) tell you they are trying to sell your idea, (won't prove that) make a product to show, that isn't anything like what your idea was, & keep asking for more money that goes straight into their pockets. Have class action lawsuits. When you stop sending money because you can't afford anymore, They say "we're done.'' Wish I knew what I know now about scams then. What gets me is they know your idea might suck, but they bleed you for every last cent! Hopefully Karma will come back & bite them in the ass!
    • OMG! I just barely started sending them money. I can't afford to get scammed. I know I should've known better but they make it sound so good. Especially now in these hard times. What can I do to get back the money I already sent them. HELP!!
  • DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DAVISON!!!! Davidson STOLE my idea! I submitted my invention and 2 months later I saw my invention on QVC right before Christmas. I called the and left a message saying that "Davison STOLE my idea!!!". I am So upset. So I have several really good ideas and a representative from Davison had the nerve to call me back and ask me what other ideas I have. DAVISON ARE THIEVES!! Do not do business with them; liars and thieves.
  • Very dissapointed, waste of money . time and energy. 2.5 years of lies and deception.

Not following patent. Sketches that were incorrect.

Engineering passes, fails. To a point i said sure this whole set up is a scam.

Recently sent emails, asking to see what exactly has been done. And how to resolve this ammicable. Nothing of a reply.

But can see how it works. Newbies are kept sweet. Weekly calls , update. Everything moving along nicely.

You question to see hard evidence. No sorry, cant do that. Be patient im only interested in getting it correct.

Time gets the better of you. And newbies give a glowing review.

More victims sign up, oldies are dropped and the circle continues.

If they done half that you signed up for and project fails. What can you say.

When you have a few sketches, artist impression. Its a lot of money for scrap paper.

If the Davison group comes back to me and a positive feedback i will be happy to say.

    Untill then do your research
  • We paid Davison over $13,000 and got nothing in return but promises. Save your money and keep it out of their hands. We would love to take them to court to get even half of that back.
    • I started dealing with Davison over 5 years ago. They took $8000.00 from me and for the last two years I have been strung along with BS. I sent a email to Adam Seifret who was the one dealing with me. I told him I was very disappointed with Davison and I wanted a response from them.. and my email was rejected permanently. Would you be interested in starting a class action against Davison? I see many unhappy people and I believe we could start something because they should not be able to cheat people this way. there must be a way to stop them. If you are interested we could keep in touch. Thanks
