DealDash.com

DealDash.com claims to be “the original” penny auction site, having been established in February of 2009. They offer auctions on everything from expensive electronics to general food items, all at up to 95% discounts.

Like most all penny auction websites, DealDash requires that its users purchase bid packs in advance. Their bids cost 60 cents each, and each time you bid on an auction you raise the price by 1 cent and extend the clock by 30 seconds.

If you lose an auction at DealDash, you may have all the bids you lost during that auction replaced into your account, as long as you purchase that same item at full retail cost from DealDash within 7 days of the lost auction.

If you win an auction, you must pay the final auction price for that item within 14 days of the auction to receive your prize. DealDash currently only ships prizes to the 48 continental United States.

If for any reason you would like to request a refund from DealDash, you must do so within 90 days of purchasing bids. All refunds are at the discretion of DealDash.

  • I have actually both got some good deals on DEALDASH as well as wasted a lot of money. I have learned how to be more strategic with my bidding over time. The regular price of a bid is sixty cents they say, but you never pay that. You buy packs of bids at reduced rTes of anywhere fro twelve to sixteen cents per bid. The problem I have with DEALDASH is 1)-their lack of action for what is to everyone else tag team bidding, and 2)- their interference with what you do with property you own outright. They say you can't sell what you purchase or win from DEALDASH on eBay or anywhere else. It must have been in the print that I missed. Most of their merchandise they get from Wal-Mart, since that is where they direct you to when there is an issue. So, that would be like Wal-Mart saying that you can't sell anything you purchase from them.. How far out does that stretch? A year, two years, ten year So? When does the merchandise become yours to do as you please. If you win a stroller, the kid outgrows it, are you allowed to sell? Is it really yours if you are told what you can and can not do with it? DEALDASH is not a charity, so how can they tell you what you can and can not do with what you PURCHASED from them? My brother is an attorney, and I am having him check into the legality of this next week some time. Sending him a text about it as well as the email I received from DEALDASH about an eBay listing for one of those Dekdo transportation things I was trying to sell on eBay that I won at DEALDASH
  • DealDash is entirely up front with their policies and their procedures. In my experience, the DealDash system of commerce is the most advance system of economic transaction in the modern world. If all economic transaction were conducted in this fashion, the world capitalist system would be a truely fair and equitable system in which there would be no haves and have nots - only happy, obedient, fulfilled humans whose needs are met in the most efficient manner. I am an economist employed by the University of California at Berkeley and, finding no flaws with DealDash nor systems of transactional exchange more perfectly configured, I use DealDash to meet all of my needs. By using DealDash exclusively, I have realized an economic advantage equal to to 35 percent increase in my current salary. I highly recommend DealDash to my friends and colleagues.
    • The name, Harried Turdison, is just gold. I'll be laughing about that one for days. Seriously though, the lies on the DD site keep piling up. Like the metal art or handmade barrel stuff, are in no way high-end collector art, nor worth THOUSANDS of dollars. That's why they won't permit you to resell. Because then you would get proof of it's honestly retail-store art worth $100 at best.
    • Korben, with a K, Dallas was played by Bruce Willis in the movie "The Fifth Element". Upon searching the U Cal Berkley website, I got no results for a Corben Dallas. I can't find a Corben Dallas to exist in California or even the United States - nothing on Google, nothing in the white pages, Facebook, or people search.

I would personally not trust this review based on the name alone. If you could really experience the 18-35% returns these reviewers claim, everyone would be doing it.

This website exists to make money, they don't do that by selling things to you at a loss. From what I've read you get your bids refunded if you lose the auction only after you pay full price for the item from DealDash within 7 days.
    • If it so fair and honest how come you cannot view any items to see if there is anything you want without FIRST buying auction points???
    • Mr. Dallas,

I would have to concur with your assessment. The rate of return on my investment in bid packs has out performed my 401K in the range of 19-28 percent consistently. I'm glad to see that we have other intelligent and educated people who can honestly evaluate DealDash in an objective manner.
  • SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

Over half of these people giving 4 and 5 stars are DealDash employees.

    Customer service??? Non existant!!!

    Bots??? A shitload!!!

They preach "fair and honest"...shit is a SCAMMMMM!!!
    • Yes.you bullshit....got galaxy and iPhone for 50$. Stop scamming people..what a stupid idea you pay for bids...even don't know what time bidding is gonna stop...they get whole a lot of money from every bidders. Plus buy it now even show buyers even MORE stupid.. Buy it now is even more expensive than what manufacture official website price offer you. Like nikon CAMERA aw1. On nikon website you can buy 799$.., and on dealdash 850$.. ??? Somebody should stop this scam. Or buyers should stop go that shitty website. Commercial is a big misguide. They don't tell ..how much you spend on bidding??????? probably couple hundreds dollars for 50 $ worth item...just a scam SCAM. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. SCAM.
    • just got a Samsung galaxy tab S and a I phone 5s for under $50.00 each. I rate the site 5 stars, self employed in the construction business. erie,pa just gotta not suck at bidding. and not be a compulsive freak. with that advice ya'll will do fine.

oh and one a $20.00 Walmart gift card for a penny. lol, if its a scam, im winning!
  • Waste of money n time. I just spent 36 dollars so I could check it out. Yes u "could" get a good deal but as the site expands n has more users there r more bidders ( meaning more money spent by all/ longer the item is up for bid. Good idea by the created but I doubt this site will last a few years, amazon still dominates online sales because it is easy and makes sense. So if u wish to waste 36- a few hundred to "try" to win something that everyone else is "trying" to win go ahead n sign up but remember if something seems to good to be true it usually is ;-)

Also seems like they advertised their site everywhere with pumpers saying how amazing it is. Just YouTube it n listen to real reviews from real people
    • I agree. This site seemed to good in the beginning so I never joined. That up front money just to bid in an auction is silly I think. Some people just understand a scam when they see one. There getting rich off people that don't really look at the fine print and the thing with buying it at retail well, another scam cause they buy it wholesale, got ya again !!!!!! Free shipping, yup I could do that too with that kind of cash flow, lol. You say how would I say all this if I never joined, well, now you see why!!!
    • they only refund if you buy the item full price
    • Good thing is you get your money back if u don't win in the 1st 200 bids, gotta read the fine print. actually that print was in bold, and regular size font. And yes, I am a real person......or am I hee he he.

      :)
  • This is one of the best sites I have used to buy great items

Such as gift cards and electronics for pennies.

Shipping is outstanding and always free and you get your items

    Fast.
  • I think DealDash is one of the best Penny Auction sites out there. They have great promotions and great auction prizes. I have a great time bidding and winning1 The deal's are great and you walk away with some expensive gifts almost for free. I've gotten all my holiday shopping done at DealDash and I haven't had to leave my home. I love it. I would recommend anyone try out the site. You always win something! BID BID BID!
  • DealDash is not a scam, it is a fair and honest bidding site. I highly roc cements dealdash to you all :)
    • If it's so fair and honest, how come the commercial says everything must go, and I've been seeing the commercial for over five years. Your reply sounds scripted. It's "hurry" everything must go my ass.
  • I discovered Dealdash almost a year ago. I have won many great items, from a camera to 50 dollar gift cards. The items are shipped fast and are in excellent condition. The customer service is very helpful when you have a question. I highly recommend dealdash for your penny auction site!
  • Excellent auction site. I have been playing on their site for over 3 years and have never had any issues. I highly recommend.
  • Dealdash's features and products are definitely better than most websites. Wish there was a place for coupon codes, and a way to toggle between items easier, but other than that it is a great penny bid auction website.
    • DealDash is overpriced and a type of scam. My account was cancelled for winning too much, and when my roomate made an account, his account was cancelled as soon as he bought bids and won one small auction-for having the same address. They took his money for the bid pack. Now, DealRush is coming to The United States and they are the best auction site ever. cheap bids and better products and free bids, plus free gifts. The auction off many of the larger items on dealdash, and if you win a gift card they often give you another bonus card from$5to$1000 of the same card. They are awesome and have been around in Europe, and many countries since 2009. DealDash borrowed a name from them, so they would look like the same company. Now DealRush.US is coming this month or next month to the U.S.! I cannot wait ! That are so much fun and I lived off of what I won and sold for years, until I moved back to America where they did not run an auction site until now-or soon! Just keep Dealdashing until DealRush opens!!!Then, drop DD like they're Hot, even if they are not compared to DealRush.US!DealRush always has coupons and cheaper bids. They have vehicles and other huge prizes every month or more!
