DealFun.com

DealFun.com is a new penny auction site growing in popularity. Penny auction websites claim that users can win new, popular, and expensive items for extremely discounted prices.

Deal Fun allows new users to purchase bid packages ranging in cost from $69.00 to $119.00. The more expensive bid package you purchase, the lower the cost of the individual bids.

The smallest initial package offers 115 bids at 60 cents per, and the largest package offers 200 bids at 35 cents per. After you purchase your initial bid package, you may purchase subsequent packages priced at 60 cents per bid.

Each bid you make on an item raises the price of the item one cent. The winner of each auction must pay the winning auction price within 72 hours in order for their item to be sent to them.

No unused bids or bid packages are eligible for refund, however, so consider this when deciding which bid package to purchase.

  • A total ripoff. Only received two items won after much complaining. Both were junk.
  • Dealfun are theives. Some police organisation should investigate these companies and if evidence is found implicating that these companies are ripping consumers off then that theiving companys name should be put on a public register site to warn consumers. Scumbags...
  • I tried dealfun and I won a lot of stuff, I was excited, until I got the merchandise it was crap you wouldn't spend 1 dollar for. The android tablet they offer is made of cheap materials, upon arrival (after waiting 3 months and we still didn't get all our winnings yet and it is coming upon month six)the tablet screen was broken. and it takes over 30 minutes to load something from youtube, and it skips, and you have to pound the screen to get a letter to type. and then it bounces to other languages. the green train that i got for a little over 5 dollars would be given away at a dollar store it was absolutely pathetic, I will say they were nice about everything. Dealfun is full of crap and that is what you will get. i lost 200 dollars, they are not offering a good deal, they are stealing from you and smiling about it, oh one last thing if you don't get your products they will only replace the value of the products with the that amount of bids nothing more.
  • Along with the countless other people, I was taken for over $150 by these criminals/scumbags. I was waiting on the delivery of 6 items (for over 2 months) that never came. When I reached out to customer service all I got was an automated e-mail that said I wouldn't be refunded my money, but would be reimbursed with bids that expired in 10 days. Of course, there was nothing to bid on, and even if there was I would never receive the stuff anyways.

Losing $150 pisses me off, but it isn't going to cripple me. It's the fact I was robbed that fires me up. People like this make me sick. It's one thing to run a business poorly, and not have the means to fill all the customer requests. It's an another thing entirely to intentionally scam people out of their money, close up shop and disappear.

I like to think I'm a rationale person, for the most part, but I wish the absolute worst on these people.
  • Scam!! 3 months later and have yet to receive any of the items won!!
  • Having to buy bids before you can see what is available to bid on is nonsense. I have tried several times to have my account deactivated with, you guessed it, absolutely no response from Dealfun. Everything they say about bidder satisfaction is B..l S..t. They do not have anything that I have ever seen on the site worth bidding on. Some worthwhile stuff is shown as already having been sold. However, I have yet to see one of these items up for auction. With the lac of response from them when I request to have my account deactivated and the funds paid for the bid package,(which was never used), refunded. I feel that the RCMP should be contacted to investigate this outfit. If it is not a scam I sure do not know who qualifies.
  • Anyone else suddenly get free points? Interesting tactic when there is nothing to bid for
  • Took my 49 bids site broke / never delivered my stuff!!!
  • Very disappointed. Wheel has been down for months . As a result I am loosing bid points. Would NOT recommend this game.
  • [email protected] there is no answer from them. I was taken for $1,329.21 I was saving to be able to bid on the Iphone 4s. But I called them back in December and they said to hold on cus they were updating there system and my credits would be back on my account in January 17,2012 Its now March 8,2012 and yet I cant get a refund from my bank. I sure wish I know who to turn too for help in recovering my lost. I am a disabled guy who was looking for a deal to sell on ebay. But not to get riped off.
    • I got scammed as well. bunch of bs. I hope something gets done to these chumps. maybe dateline will track them down for us.
    • i was scammed by them as well, and they do not return any emails or phone calls... I was taken for over $200 and I am pissed off...
