DealFun.com

DealFun.com is a new penny auction site growing in popularity. Penny auction websites claim that users can win new, popular, and expensive items for extremely discounted prices.

Deal Fun allows new users to purchase bid packages ranging in cost from $69.00 to $119.00. The more expensive bid package you purchase, the lower the cost of the individual bids.

The smallest initial package offers 115 bids at 60 cents per, and the largest package offers 200 bids at 35 cents per. After you purchase your initial bid package, you may purchase subsequent packages priced at 60 cents per bid.

Each bid you make on an item raises the price of the item one cent. The winner of each auction must pay the winning auction price within 72 hours in order for their item to be sent to them.

No unused bids or bid packages are eligible for refund, however, so consider this when deciding which bid package to purchase.

  • Is there a Federal Trade Commission of some sorts in Canada. If they are closed (apparently so) It sounds if they were intentional in their actions and planning... never meaning to be honest. File a federal complaint in U.S., they DID business here. God Brings Justice and Mercy... to the smallest MATURING Christian.
  • After a few months with DealFun, I finally won a bid (in Dec.) and credit card was charged. One month later, I received an email apologizing for delivery delay due to vendor not providing accurate stock. For my inconvenience, DealFun stated they had (1) refunded my credit card; (2) credited my DealFun account in bids equivalent to the retail value.

Still waiting for refund. 82 DealFun bid credits received; expired in 8 days. DealFun credits were basically useless since only available categories at the time were SPORTS & RECREATION (headbands-only) and FASHION & ACCESSORIES (make-up, knitted scarf, wallet). The “Dealwheel” was “under maintenance”.

I emailed regarding refund & asked what’s happening with the site. I never received a reply. Noticed later DealFun was out of business.

Contacted BBB --- in Canada. DealFun’s address is in Ontario. Don’t expect to ever receive my refund. Someone suggested class action suit--- great idea if individuals would be compensated. Oh well! Lesson learned. Staying away from ALL online bid/auctions.
    • Class action suit is one of the best idea. Is there any one who can initiate?? (I wish I could do, unfortunate, however I'm not much knowlegable about that)
  • Appalling site. Closed down with no notice. Despite several attempts to get my dollars returned, the operators didn't even have the decency to respond. Money taken and assurances given that all was okay even when the site was going down the gurgler. Pure theft.
  • I say class action law suit to put these guys in Jail.!!!

(Where is the 0 rating option!)
  • Spend money and buy bids only to have them close up shop without refund. Even the auctions that i won were never delivered. They did refund the price i paid for the item but what about the money spend on the bids wee is that.... Actually not a bad idea collect money then run. Oh yea most people go to jail for that!
  • I won one bid in november they never send the product

I've emailed their help line no answer

I will never enter into anything like that again, thanks to them i'm never going to trust anything even remotely like this I have learned my lesson.
  • Why is DEAL FUN not posting on their web-site that they are no longer in business and we as customers got screwed!!
  • deal fun is a total scam...i bidded and won playstation and other stuff but never received them, i complained and got a refund but it was not the tool amount i had spent there....there should be a police investigation and shut them down
