  • Stay away from Focus LC, also in cahoots with Crystal Consulting, Catalyst Coaching, CNSS Mentoring, Elite Corporate Services/Business & Tax, and probably were once known as Thrive Learning Institute. They will take your money and you will not end up with a website that is able to get traffic to it unless you pay thousands of dollars more for things like Search Engine Optimization. If anyone asks you about your credit cards and how much you can spend on them, you will know they are scamming you. They charge all different amounts of money to people who sign up. I lost around $15,000. They promised me their "scholarship check" to help me pay off my credit card bills until I would be making around their promised $5,000 a month. They are scum. Stay away! If the online BBB shows they are in good standing it's because all they do is change their name to something else when they start to get complaints. They tricked me when I signed up. They actually led me to the BBB site to show what a great standing they have. All they did was change their name to something new.
  • These Focus LC scumbags conned me into signing up for their coaching program to learn how to do dropshipping online. They knew I was interested in going back to school so they made it sound like I would be going through a "school" program with them but for half the price. I can't believe I was so stupid to fall for it and $12,000 later I have gotten no where.

They made me feel like they were choosing me and that they are very selective with who they have in their program. They fed me so much b.s. and I fell for it, hook line and sinker. They promised me a $900 Scholarship check to help pay my credit card bills for the first 3 months and that I would be making around $5000 after that so i would easily be able to start paying off my "tuition".

The most important advice I can give to anyone who is thinking about doing one of these programs is to get everything in writing and communicate with them via email as much as possible so you can save all of your emails. They constantly try to get you on the phone so they can sweet talk you into not canceling.

These guys are sharks and they have so many tricks to get away with what they are doing. If you have already paid for a program such as this, call your credit card company immediately and do not talk with these scumbags by phone any more.

I also got a call from many of their other subsidiaries trying to sell me on credit coaching, tax assistance, and SEO. All scams. I paid Elite Corporate Services for Credit Coaching and to have them register my LLC for me. They completely screwed up the process and put the wrong name on my LLC papers. They also told me I wouldn't be able to have an EIN number for at least a week, which is a joke. I found out later that you can get your EIN number right away. They told me they could get me a line of credit that wouldn't be linked to my personal accounts, so that way if my business fails all the money I spent would just dissolve with my LLC. Tricky bastards.

    Watch out for these companies:

    Focus LC

    Crystal Consulting

    Deaus Financial

    CNSS Mentoring

    Elite Corporate Services

    Success Planning

    Tax Club

    Freedom Agency

    eCommerce Positioning

    Thrive

    Ivy Capital

    Prosper

Any company that is based in Utah or Nevada

Wise people learn from their mistakes. Wiser people learn from other people's mistakes. I hope I just saved someone from falling victim to these scumbags!
  • i invested (or that is what they say) almost $13,000.00 and got the same thing with the so clalled coached. you get a call once a week for about 5 - 10 minutes , them telling you what section to do next. no help, it's a figure it out yourself site. lot of lies were told. they high pressure, fast talk and very demanding about getting your credit card information. they weren't clear on what the money was for, what i would be doing and then all the other calls started. they all wanted money. i called and left a message i wanted to cancel the 2nd day but i didn't write them to cancel within 3 days so i get nothing and they got $13,000.00
  • I too have been scammed by these con-artists. Same promises as others with no return and no support only phone calls for more money. These people need to be stopped. Please Please stop them
  • I was promised the best training on the internet be Crystal Coaching. They took my money and passed me off to FocusLC. Coaching calls come from a Utah number. Their office is in Beaverton Oregon. Within a week of signing up I was being called almost every week by another company that wanted another $2,000 t $5,000 to "help" my business. Other than intentionally maxing out my credit card several times without my prior authorization I have gotten nothing from them.

    I want my money back!
  • This is the worst mistake I have ever made. They promise that you can make money and they will show you how and all it is, is the same stuff that e-bay has on their education site. As far as having a coach all they do is say read numbers 1 thru 5 and I'll call you next week. Well the next week I don't know anymore than I did the week before. They also have other companies call and want more money.
  • Stay away from these scumbags. They are there to rack your nerves and drain your pocket. I wonder how they can steal innocent peoples money and dine with it????? Without guilt.
  • i have had focus program since march 2011 and have still made no money of it, i originally spent $5,000 for the program and have spent more money since and still no return i have had no support from the team that is meant to help me and have been passed off from one person to another and from one program to another when they cant answer a question they tend to cut me off and when i was on live chat they ignore my messages i will not be recommending this site to anyone
    • contact the federal trade commission and fill out a complaint. the more who do this the better chance of shutting this co. down
