The Global Survey Group is a company which claims to match you with reputable, legit market research companies so that you can complete surveys online from the comfort of your own home.

GlobalSurveyGroup.com says that the surveys they provide pay anywhere from $0.50 to $10 upon completion, and that motivated survey takers and panel participants can earn up to $250 a month in supplemental income.

It is free to join the Global Survey Group, as long as you are over the age of 18 and a citizen and current resident of the United States. All you must do is fill out a brief informational survey in order to get started.

Is It Legit?

When evaluating online survey companies, one of the first things you must do is check to see if you are being charged for membership. Legitimate market research companies will not charge you for membership.

This company says membership is free, as they are paid by the market research companies themselves for signing up new survey participants. However, they also recommend you to sign up with a variety of companies; make sure none of these companies are charging you for membership either.

Global Survey Group also encourages members to sign up for as many surveys and panels as possible, in order to have the most opportunity to complete surveys, which is good advice. And finally, they quote a reasonable expectation of earnings: between $10 and $250 a month.

What to Look Out For

There are two things that new members should be cautious about when it comes to signing up with this company. First, you are not being provided with surveys by this company personally. They are simply a portal to connect you with other companies.

This means that you must do individual research on each company you sign up with – how their compensation plan works and how their privacy policies operate specifically.

Second, Global Survey Group says they will use the information they receive from your surveys not just to give to research companies, but also to send you targeted ads, promotions, and coupons, as well as additional information on their products and services.

For this reason, you may want to set up a special email account just to handle your incoming surveys and marketing emails resulting from the surveys. If for any reason you have complaints about the process and wish to cancel, you can Unsubscribe from their survey on their FAQ page.

  • Recieved a cheque for $2389 went to email confirmation email no longer wxists shredded cheque SCAM SCAM SCAM
  • Beware, it look like a scam on a large scale. First, the cheque itself looks fake - resembles a copy, rather than an original. Second, why would a legitimate company such as Howell Pipe & Supply be involved in mystery shopping at banks puzzles me greatly. Kudos to Miss Smith for contacting BBB and Howell Pipe & Supply. Thanks for the warning. I intend to contact RCMP as well. Something has to be done before more innocent, financially "squeezed" people get duped as well. Shame on Global Survey Group.
  • IT'S A TOTAL SCAM!!!!

A total scam everyone!!! Don't do it!! I received a cheque for $2389 and was told to cash it at my bank and keep $400 for myself and then wire two separate $900 to people in different countries. OF COURSE THE CHEQUE WILL GO NSF AND THEY COLLECT THE FRAUDELT MONEY.
    • Yeah just had it happen to me. Same deal. Contacted RCMP. Hope they shut the buggers down. I'll never get that money back.
  • Complete scam. 1st hint, they sent a $2,500. cheque with no interview and before any work!!! Was really glad Miss Smith posted her comment.

    Shame on you scammers.
  • Total scam. I signed up and a few days later received a cheque for almost $2000 in the mail. I was directed to deposit $400 in my account and wire the rest to another country. I called the BBB and was told it was most definitely a scam and that the cheque would go nsf eventually. I called the company that was on the cheque and they told me they did not issue it and it was a scam. SO grateful I checked, or I would have been o the hook for the entirety of the cheque.
  • I have joined Global Survey Group and acclimated $25.00, but don't see an option to cash out my rewards! I've emailed them 5 times over the past 2 weeks with no reply period. Instead they continue to see me daily survey offers through my email address, but I can't get a simple reply for instructions in cashing out my rewards! Then to top it off they had the nerve to send me protein bars in the mail for a product taste test. Screw them, and their protein bars it's a rip off stay away!!!
  • Rejected every survey. Even when telling truth.

    Its a scam!
  • I got involved and it sucks. I have been told by other members to lie. I have not and therefore almost never qualify. Also, some require you to make purchases before you can continue the survey. On one survey I answered questions for nearly 2 hours and then was rejected. Many times I answered very specific questions that were obviously part of the survey only to be rejected. No doubt those that make money are doing so by lieing. And, it appears companies are getting surveys answered and get out of paying by rejecting. I will NEVER believe a survey statistic ever again!
