Home Cash Success, found online at SecureHCS.com, is a new work at home opportunity from spokeswoman Anne Williams which promises that anyone who wishes to work from home can be “making real money” within just five minutes.

The sales page goes on to say that with just 60 minutes a day, you could earn up to $379 all while working entirely from home with their “easy, proven, and guaranteed” method, and that one hour of work five days a week could earn you $58,500 a year.

To get started with the Home Cash Success certification program, you just need to pay a one time fee of $99.00; however they say they only accept 15 people from any city at any one time.

The Red Flags

Websites like Home Cash Success are selling training programs for affiliate marketing, which is an independent business opportunity where you partner with other businesses to help them market their goods and services and receive a commission when your work results in a sale.

Even though this is an independent business opportunity, Home Cash Success treats it as a job opportunity, saying that their program will certify you as a “Search Engine Agent” and guarantee you an “immediate placement.”

They then make claims of large amounts of money you can earn within short time periods, and follow up by saying their program is limited to a certain number of people. At the bottom of the page they have a warning announcing they only have 2 spots left.

The Reality

All these claims are misleading at best and sometimes completely inaccurate. You do not need to be certified in anything to work in affiliate marketing, and most companies just have a general sign up available to be an affiliate – you don’t need Home Cash Success to “place” you with anyone.

As for their earnings claims, while it is possible to make a livable income with internet marketing – and some people even make quite a bit of money in this industry – it doesn’t happen with just one hour of work a day. It takes a lot of effort and hard work to establish a successful money making online business.

And while there is a lot of free information available online regarding affiliate marketing, some people will still prefer to purchase a training program. If you do purchase a training program, know in advance that while many of them market themselves as having a “one time only fee” you often will receive follow up phone calls from associates of the company providing you with “special offers.”

Usually these special offers will be described to you as the boost you need to make money now, whether it has to do with website design or getting traffic. These offers can sometimes cost thousands of dollars.

It’s always best to research the job opportunity and know what kind of budget you have to get your business started before you get involved with any training program.

  • Hi fellows ...

I hate scams .. But I think it's a massage for us all. Nothing easy in life.So never and never ever trust any one who claims that he can show you away to get a fortune online with no or minimal effort. There is no such thing like that in reality.

In order to success in life , you have to offer tough and long time of bleeding , sweating and a flooding of tears ...

  • hi i am from india i see the poster in some website on online profit, i enter to the website they ask my credit card, suddenly i loss 1,100 of indian money, when i trying to cancel they are not responding. phone also not reachable. what can i do for refund my money? please guide me how to cancel it, i am from poor family. if 1100 is there i will run my family for 1 week.
  • I got a mail from them saying it was free and the next minute I had money taken from my account. Free my ass
    • So you got an email saying it was free...then they asked for your credit card details for the "one time fee" which you gave them...and now you're complaining that it wasn't actually free.....0.o
    • same this just happened to me!
  • I made the horrible mistake of purchasing this scam for $99. After I listened to and watched the videos on the site, I quickly decided it wasn't for me and tried calling to get me the promised refund as long as I called within 14 days. Well seeing as they're ONLY open 9-5 monday -friday, it makes it hard to sit on hold. Not to mention, the sitr quotes a hold time of 4 hours......EVERY DAY, and there is never a rep available to use the online chat feature. This is the worst decision I have ever made and I regret it. I wish I had looked into it more before I bought it, because it seems, now, that I am out the hundred bucks.

    DON'T DO IT! HUGE SCAM!
    • Susan, why don't you try calling your credit card company and telling them that this is a scam. Hopefully, they can do something for you.

  • They request for a 3 day free try to give all your credit card information. They mean, to prove, you are older than 18.Should I trust them?
  • I just got a text from these bozos stating $225/day. NOT a scam with a link to a NBC affiliate article that is actually an advertisement for this scam!
  • I immediately regretted my decision to inquire with this company. After I put in my email address and phone number (bad decision) I was prompted for the $99 fee for more info or whatever... once I saw they wanted money I knew I had just screwed myself and could expect a phone call and lots of annoying emails. Well, I was partly right... I got one email and I think I unsubscribed successfully. However, since then, I have been inundated with phone calls at all hours of the day. I have told these people nicely (since I realize its my fault they are calling) to please not call anymore and take me off the list. I am still getting numerous phone calls, from all different numbers and area codes; I am not asking them nicely anymore.
    • Call 855-352-3740 billing dept. To cancel!! Save yourself!!
    • Kelly, you're receiving lots of phone calls because they sold your name and contact information to a company that sells suckers lists to scammers.
    • I'm sorry barb, but if you paid them, I'm sure they will not willingly give your money back. Maybe you can talk to your bank about reversing the charges. It looks like Kelly immediately upon seeing the price tag got out, but they already had the contact info. I saw the "MSNBC article" and decided things looked too fishy with the page and ended up here after a quick google search of the company.
    • did you get all your money back i hope since i signed up yesterday and being on disability i hope i didn't make a huge mistake please respond- barb
