Home Wealth Solution Reviews – Legit or Scam?

The website for Home Wealth Solution looks eerily similar to several other internet marketing courses previously reviewed on this site.  Just like its predecessors, this site is also being promoted through several well crafted fake news sites.

These are the exact type of “news” sites that the FTC has targeted and is in the process of shutting down.  These sites fail to properly indicate that they are in fact promotional pieces designed to sell products and not actual news sources.

Career-reports.com is the website promoting Home Wealth Solution, by profiling a Florida Mom, Katie Jenkins, who uses Google to earn $379 a day.  The website and everything on it is completely fabricated, and similar versions of Katie’s story have been used to sell hundreds of different get rich quick schemes.

So What Is the Home Wealth Solution?

Based on the earnings screen shots from their sales page, it seems that they are selling an affiliate marketing course, where the basic concept is to promote other people’s products for a commission.

This is a popular method for making money online, however it is no where near as easy as they make it seem.  According to them, “all you need is basic typing skills and internet access…”  This is purely a sales pitch.  If you want the real truth behind affiliate marketing, just log on to any internet marketing forum to read about people’s real daily struggles trying to make it in this business.

Is Home Wealth Solution a Scam?

While it may not be an outright scam, since they do claim to offer a 60 day money back guarantee, there are definitely a lot of red flags and enough warnings to stay away from this program.

The fact that it’s sold at such a low price point generally means that they’ll try to hit you with some up-sells down the line.  The main thing to watch out for here is that while the main program is hosted on a 3rd party payment processor, be careful of any up-sells that would put you at the mercy of Home Wealth Solution for a refund.

Update: This program is also being sold under the name Online Income Solution.

If you have purchased the course and need to contact someone for support or to request a refund, you can do so at [email protected].  Or if you want to go straight to the payment processor you can do so at the Plimus customer support page.

  • Thank you all - including those commenting for saving Another from a scam..
  • Alarm bells started ringing when I read on their site how That was googles way of opening doors for the public to make money then later I read below that they are not affiliated, associated or sponsored by Google (quite contradicting huh!) Thanx guys for confirming my fears at least you saved me some $20, though I have to admit those are smart thieves.
  • I was interested in making money from home and unfortunately started the process of ordering from Home Wealth Solutions. After I was asked to make up phony reviews the bells started to go off. Once the third request for my credit card information came up for a "free" add-on, I started to try to get a refund. One of the selling points was free support. The order was placed 3 days ago and I have sent 5 emails to "live support" never receiving any contact yet. The money back guarantee is obviously not true and any customer support is non-existent. The hard sells and up sells are extremely pervasive in the website. After doing some research (should have been sooner) they are being investigated for fraud. Beware!!!
  • I just signed up and saw these comments the 19.97 transaction is pending how do I cancel it??? My story is the same as everyone else's I just hope they don't use my email to do this to my friends & family...
  • This is a total scam...do not be fooled! Unfortunately I was, but they only took me for $19.97.They claim to offer a full 60 day money guarantee back..but when you see the terms and condition you must realize that this will never happen. They require you to try the "product" for at least 2 weeks and ask for technical support before you qualify for a refund.

When you pay your initial joining fee and advance to become a member, all sorts of interesting things are flashed in front of you ie. VIP status..that costs another $16.After you go from page to page they dangle carrots in front of you suggesting "this is a one and only time offer ,made available to only a few new members"...the price normally $197 reduced to $97!I did not click that box,but when I proceeded to the next page the same "offer" became $67...I forwent that also...and low and behold it reduced again to $47..saying I only had 24 hours to accept this amazing offer which would enhance my earning skills on their "home wealth solution" earning scheme.

DO NOT BE FOOLED....IT IS MOST DEFINITELY A SCAM. The reason I fell for this, fortunately, not hook line and sinker, was that I received an email from some one I know. It read like this....

21/08/2011- my thoughts have been scattered lately I've come to realize that money never sleeps I was able to get back on my feet with this! http://winiarnia.cba.pl/GrahamKing25.html I am headed right for the top you are cut out for this did you know there was internet money like this?

When you click on the link you arrive at this advertising page and follow the link to join from there...My friend informed me later in the day that her email account had been hacked..but it is now back to normal...So be warned. It is a scam.

  • I just tried to join in a minute ago, using my debit card and it was declined. Later before I run my credit card, i have a gut feeling that I should check out first if the Home Wealth Solution is a scam or not...and found this review. Thank God and thank you all for your reviews, I almost got myself swindle by this scam online..I hope ppl will be lucky enough to saw this review before using their credit card $19.97
  • OMG this is a real mess. I almost sign in ,in this website, thank God I've been lead to this review ,thx 4 ur honest comments too folks
  • These types that show off their wealth and use pyramid schemes saying they are not...are actually accumulating thousands of $19.97 registrations and for some reason scaring off New Potential customers with a HUGE UPSELL before you officially log on. Why would they do anything so greedy as that? They discouraged me and I responded with a request for refund only to be turned down if I don't continue for a minimum of 2 weeks training. Training that is loaded with UPSELL. My credit card company will try to cancel and refund for me BUT BE PREPARED PEOPLE for more charges to your account. You might have to restart your credit card with a new number.
  • Those scumbags somehow accessed my address book and are sending spam to all my contacts. How do I stop this?
  • I too was forwarded their information from a close friend whose email, I later found out, had been hacked (my pastor's daughter, nonetheless). I was (am) in the middle of creating a Christian website and was interested in learning effective yet inexpensive SEO techniques. Here's my opinion of HWS - they completely misrepresent what you will be able to do and obviously there's a problem when they contact you via hijacked e-mail accounts. The site they offer to build for you is complete garbage, the products from their recommended affiliate are by no means something you would boast of selling unless you pride yourself on hustling people, and the amount they charge for hosting is ridiculous (about $25/month). They are a scam company looking to prey upon the greedy, the ignorant, the lazy, and most tragically - the desperate.

Having said all that, the hundreds of pages of training materials and training videos I had access to were well worth the $20. It is all information I could have slowly accumulated for free, but it would have taken a long time. If you're intelligent and willing to diligently study their training materials (this requires honest introspection)and looking to start a real website then there are some great tips.

I have no stake in this - really - but this is how you do it on the cheap... get your primary domain registered (godaddy or whoever, it doesn't much matter - don't spend more than $15 for a years registration) then let that site sit. Go to a site like wix (or others like it) and they let you set-up a site development area where you can build your site for free until you're ready to publish it to your primary domain. The building tools are all graphical and easy to use so no programming skills required, but it's still challenging and not for the stupid.

The catch is that you have to use wix as your host, but their rates are competitive (there are other sites just like them, just be sure you know their monthly hosting fees so you don't get ripped off when it's time to go live and after your site is all built). You don't need HWS for any of this and in fact are better off without them. Regarding finding affiliate programs and signing up with them, all you need to do is google "affiliate marketing programs." ClickBank, CommissionJunction, Share-A-Sale, Linkshare are just a few (and of course there's also google's affiliate program - it's the best, but your site has to meet with their approval, ie, a real site with real content not just a sell you junk site).

Best of luck and God bless. Sorry they took advantage of you.
