Indeed.com

Indeed.com is a jobs board that acts as an aggregate to get the most active job postings available on the web. They get information from major job boards like Monster.com, as well as employer websites and online classifieds.

When searching for jobs on Indeed.com, there is no advanced search feature to help narrow down your results, therefore it is important that you know the best job title to search for to find the most appropriate results.

If you choose, Indeed can email you a daily update with jobs that fit what you are searching for, and you can look at estimated salary offers of jobs as well as job trends that are being tracked by the board.

You can search jobs and post your own resume for employers to see on Indeed, and these services are available at Indeed for free.

  • SCAM, ON BOTH ENDS.
  • They charge $20 PER APPLICANT. They have "qualification questions" that are supposed to eliminate unqualified candidates so you don't pay for them, but potential employees will lie to get through the process, and you still pay $20 for someone that doesn't even match. If you get 50 applicants, which you will because Indeed will SPAM THE HELL OUT OF YOU with unqualified applicants and bill you, you will pay $1000 for MAYBE one person who matches. You might as well just hire a recruiter. At least they are vested in finding you the right person.
  • Very poor. Their AI is awful. The AI will only match with jobs that are local to you even if you mark your profile as willing to relocate. Was on for a few months and the only responses were from "recruiters" that couldn't be bothered to read the profile or resume. Didn't hear from them for a few weeks, went to log in and found that my profile had been deleted for some reason, no notice.
  • I've come to believe this is a SCAM site AS WELL, They are like a Drudge report Site Indexer. All I ever get is the ring around the circle auto-replies. With Covid and all sites like they should be ashamed of themselves.
  • Submitted a resume to indeed and was spammed. Even called with job offers, but not until I tried their "product". It appears that they are data miners as well.

I would stay away from them.
  • Scam alert!!! ,stay away from indeed.
  • They post the same jobs everyday. My son repeatedly applied online and never got a response at all-Are they just collecting information about people?
  • WHY SHARE YOUR ASSEMENTS INSTEAD OF EMPLOYER SPECIFIC ASSEMENTS . I DO BELIEVE ITS A SHAM , THEY SELL YOUR INFORMATION ONLY JUST LIKE MOST ONLINE .
  • Filled with scam jobs that lure you into emailing your resume to a phony money launderer who wants you to be his errand boy or girl.

I've gotten jobs through Indeed, but now the good is interweaved with the bad. You don't know what is a real job versus a phony one.

    No more.
    • My daughter came across this we think. What was the errand? how did they reach out to you?? What was being offered. Did they send you a check?? where was it from??
  • it's a profesional scam
