PostalExam473.com

PostalExam473.com is a website that promises to help people prepare for and successfully take the exam required for people seeking possible employment with the Post Office.

This exam measures your ability in four different areas: checking addresses, completing forms, coding practices and memory, and experience inventory and personal characteristics.

PostalExam473.com goes out of their way to explain that their fee for practice materials is significantly lower than many of their competitors, which they quote at around $120, while their cost is only a one time fee of $39.97.

How Does It Work?

To get started you must select the state in which you are hoping to work and then fill out a short questionnaire regarding your age, Citizenship status, previous education, and whether or not you have previously taken any entrance exams for the Post Office.

Once you have completed the questionnaire you will need to pay a fee to receive your full practice materials, which will include a 200 page exam guide and several practice exams, with materials being updated on a regular basis so that users are always prepared for the latest exam versions.

According to their website, 98% of people who use their practice materials are able to pass their postal exams on the first try, often within the top 90th percentile of all test takers.

What Else You Should Know

In case you are unhappy with what you receive from this company, they do offer a refund policy which states that if you are dissatisfied at any point during the first 60 days of your purchase, you must return all physical products that were shipped to you and delete all digital video, audio, and text files you have obtained, and then ask for a full refund.

To request a refund you must first contact their Customer Service team, through two possible methods, either by email at [email protected], or by submitting any of your questions, concerns, or complaints directly to their website.

There are some other companies that specialize in this type of exam preparation, like PostalJobReplacement.com, as well as preparation guides and books which can be purchased at bookstores.

  • This is a total scam!!! I want my $39.00 back! I applied online while trying to get a job in North Sioux City, SD. I never even took the exam because #1 i was never contacted and #2 I have had 1 ticket in over 40 years and it happened to be last December so I have to wait until this December to re-apply- Which I will NOT be doing through this scam!! PEOPLE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Also, I was told that if I wasn't called for an interview my money would be refunded so where is it????

  • [email protected] Ii am requesting a refund. My user ID#4784247356. This message is for Mr. Tom Jones
  • So I purchased this exam early this morning and didn’t notice the discrepancies until the instructions told me to go online and set up an account but once I went online the actual web address for the post office I noticed the steps in the packet I received after purchasing the exam didn’t match up to the actual usps site. I then felt this may have been a scam. My bank could not refund the money since I purchased on my debit card but did give me a telephone number (888) 694-3439 the first time I called they told me the transaction could take 24 to 48 hours to show up and they were unable to see my purchase so I called back 5 hours later told the lady I did not authorize the transaction at first she gave me pushback and claimed she may not be able to find my account under a different name even though I knew I purchased it under my name after holding for close to 10 minutes for the second time I was put on hold she came back said I would receive an email confirming refund and it could take 5 to 10 business days to show up. As soon as I hung up and checked my online bank account the money was back in my account! It was a hassle but I can say I was able to get refunded. I hope this helps anyone with a similar issue!
  • Total scam I would like a refund
  • According to the USPS Careers page at USPS.com, to apply is totally free through their official government /retail site. You are not supposed to pay to get a job with them and should only apply through their application section on their website.

How do you apply for the postal exam ?
  • TOTAL SCAM. Did not get called for an interview and did not receive a refund. I can not believe this site is able to operate under the guise of an official USPS site.
