  • Thank you for starting this thread. Saved me some money... some of my final thoughts, I think I'll just continue creating my youtube channel. Getting passive income from there... not much but it is paying for my food monthly...
  • Thanks for this. It's too good to be true so I decided to check online of their reputation first, hence I bumped here. I would say to people please before you type in visa card in any online sites be cautious. First search around the net. Plain common sense, if it's too good to be true, then it's too good to be true.
  • I think a few simple rules to check whether they r scam or not is :

#1. REAL BUSINESS HAVE REAL OFFICE !!

judging from the scale of the potential number of people and of course money they will be dealing with, we can imagine how big the company should be. weird if they don't have real (local) address and (local) telephone numbers. if they do, check it.

#2. WE WANT TO MAKE MONEY. WHY SHOULD WE PAY IN ADVANCE?

they give us the paycheck. they can simply deduct the amount prior to giving us our paycheck...

    Anyway, thanks for the review....
    • i LIKE this it really make sense,, good thing i found this page,,, i was almost there ready to get my self registered... well i guess im really lucky... thanks Guys...
    • I agreed with above statement. Just deduct 1st payment! Not all people had credit card especially like asian countries. I rather avoid to have credit card since policies of my country.
  • I got suckered! Real fraud. Should have done more research.
  • I came across many negative posts about this company. Seems like they give you some sort of access to apply to other companies, but not much support. I've been translating for the past 20+ years and love the freedom of taking my job anywhere. You can find work in such forums as proz.com or translatorscafe.com, but I found the best way to enter this industry is indeed by approaching as many translation agencies as possible, such as through http://homeworktranslationjobs.com/ They at least offer good support as to what's next. You just have to go through the process of filling in their application forms, possibly provide a free test translation, check their payment reputation before doing anything, and once you receive work make sure it is perfect. The forums are good for helping you with that too.
    • "THEY at least offer good support..." Why "they," Karel? Shouldn't you have written "WE" or "I," since YOU are the owner of homeworktranslationjobs.com and I have seen you giving your suggestions and tips in several forum postings, always forgetting to mention that small detail before "casually mentioning" your spamming service? Not very ethical, is it? But then, what you sell is spam, and since when are spammers ethical anyway?

Frankly, I wouldn't do business with a spammer, and I doubt that serious translation agencies and other companies needing translation services would either.
  • Thank you guys, I was about to join them, but I've made up my mind.
  • Thank you very much for your work with this site. Reveals fraud and help thousands of people from around the world, I almost have to fall for these dirty thief .. Thanks to you I has found that it is a scam. You know the one thing you should always be forced to think, and that is the price you have to pay. If anyone has any bargain ikdyby So why was there a fee, so it would be like for you to pay any money in advance and did not want to .. Every time someone requests to send money in advance whether it be $ 1 or 100 is always a scam. The scam is often without paying in advance .. This in turn can perform the work for which you will not pay .. No but I'm still not robbed, but the one who is looking for extra income and still get robbed him it's really odd behavior and poor offense.
  • I have had no real experience with Real Translator Jobs, but I wrote to them a while ago asking to discuss things with one of them, no answer came back. Thanks, Dov Pollak
  • I got tricked by this company and paid $26.07 for nothing. When I tried to log in back to see how I could earn by being a member, they directed me to a free hosting site which actually wasn't free as it was asking for payment. I don't know how I will get my money back but as a precaution, don't get yourself scammed by this company. They will grab your money and you will get nothing in return. The authorities should be after them. They are defrauding people of their hard earned money.
  • Thank you, very much!!
