TOPS Home Profit System

The TOPS Home Profit System, by Amanda Stevens, is promoting a work at home business system that claims to be an “easy, proven, and guaranteed way to make $379 a day and more.”

TOPS Home Profit System is new site which reports having a certified link posting training program. In addition, if you purchase their program you will receive a one-on-one consultation with a successful link poster.

Link posting is a form of affiliate marketing where you post advertising links for other companies. If a customer uses that link to purchase a product or service, you receive a commission from that sale.

Once you have completed the certified training program, TOPS Home Profit System says you are guaranteed a position as a Search Engine Agent.

What is a Search Engine Agent?

A Search Engine Agent is a new industry term for internet marketer who specifically makes a living posting links for other companies. Internet marketing generally encompasses a wide range of marketing techniques, with link posting only being a part of the bigger picture. However it has become common in the industry to refer to marketers who primarily post links as “Search Engine Agents.”

Part of the common misconceptions about Search Engine Agents is that they are being given a job by the large corporations they are posting links for. This is not the case. Link posting is an independent business opportunity. You partner with the larger corporations by becoming a part of their affiliate programs.

Large corporations will accept most affiliates because they have nothing to lose. They do not pay you any money unless the links you post result in sales to their company. In this matter the TOPS Home Profit System sales page is misleading, because it seems as though they are saying Search Engine Agents are paid to post links, when the reality is they are only paid when a link results in a sale.

Is TOPS Home Profit System Legit?

Well, many people make money affiliate marketing and link posting for other companies. The business opportunity is actually a very popular one.

TOPS Home Profit System does not fully explain how link posting works, however, as they fail to mention that posting links actually takes a monetary investment on your part, beyond the $97.00 you will pay for training.

But if you try and utilize all the training and tools offered by TOPS Home Profit System and decide that this business opportunity is not for you, you may request a refund within the first 90 days of purchase.

  • I came across this site via a legitimate job site here in the UK, and Immediately suspected that it was a scam even though it was posted on somewhere reputable.

If you read the small print at the bottom, it says that the 'Kelly' story is a composite as are the 'reviews' on there and are just as an example of what may be possible....I don't know if this is the same in the US but here they have to show the 'small print'....and it certainly is small!.

Despite suspecting it to be dodgy, I read through as I am currently out of work, but then cross checked the company with Google......surprise surprise!....I found this, and other similar forums, to enlighten me.

One day there will be ways to deal with these arseholes, they are like religions, they prey on those that are in need of something with promises of things that they can't fulfil.......I've learned to be wary of anything like this to the extent of not even applying for some jobs that have later turned out to be legitimate.

That's the sad thing......there must be many others that have done the same and possibly lost out, as I have.

    Keep up the good work...
  • When solicitation showed up on my screen, I happened to be on a popular job posting site . As soon as I saw that my fantastic opportunity would expire in 24 hours, I immediately recognized the format as I had fallen prey to a similar scam 2 yrs. prior.and contributed 74.99 hopefully to the chains which shall bind them to the Hell they are surely destined to . What was different was as I attempted to close out the tab ,I was asked did really want to close an and lose out on my chance to make all this easy money because Kelly only ..10 - 13 hrs. weekly ,and makes 2000.oo a week. And I now had less than 24 hrs. to register. TRULY UNBELIEVABLE THAT THESE PEOPLE CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT. My advice try to find something you like to do and work to get there .God bless the hard working people of the U.S.A
  • Not only that, this site has a virus!

When I wanted to post this remark it blocked me saying not allowed.
    • I didn't give them my credit card but did give them my email address..The dirtbags must of sold it to someone. I have received almost 200 pieces of spam in the last five hours
  • Even the BBB couldnt figure out where/who this scammer is. You supposedly become a 'Search Engine Agent' whatever that is. If it seems too good to be true...
  • asking for all the details of your credit card.. Already know its a scam
  • I paid $97 but they did not email nothing and I waited for 3 weeks and they told me to download something but as I read I felt it was scam and I called for refund hope i will get it.
  • I am very thankful for honest people! You all are very appreciated because you also saved me $97 and a giant headache. How can they sleep at night knowing that they are getting rich by adding more poverty to an already suffering nation. What happened to the day when we actually cared about each others well being? Did we forget that we all are human? Did we forget that we all need each other to survive? I wish that I was able to create a system that actually works. What a blessing it would be to actually be able to help someone else, in a time when I cant even help myself. It is sad that they dont see or care to see the pain that they are causing their brothers and sisters. We are all 1.
  • I read abou it on a page called "finance-reporting.org", which looked to be a big news page with lot of topics, but when I pressed the home button, it redirected me to the home page of the home income page
  • I read about this on the IMPRESSIVE dailymail.co.uk site. Its a well known site for daily news and clicked to continue reading. After I read every single word of it, as I was already started to think about it being a scam, I gave a very good eye for detail on the page and saw the MSNBC, CNN & BBC logos apart of others, so I thought this must be promising. I finally filled in my details getting ready for action but for a reason I couldn't fill in the credit card detail part. Something inside me just kept saying no. First on the forum, everyone said it was free, then I was asked to pay $24.97 so I thought something was wrong. I may have lost a huge amount of money and still cant say if its a scam or not, but I didnt sign in. What Im trying to say is, is it possible that, even on such known sites with all those world wide known logos, it is possible to make a scam!??!
  • I just almost got suckered in completely, because I love marketing and was willing to give it my all. Thank God for all you good people who make comments. I will be calling to get my $97 refund as I am a single mom of 3 children. What amazed me was not 1 good review of anyone truly making money. It's a shame people are allowed to do this to hard working Americans.
