MintVine.com is the home of MintVine, a new market research company who says they give people a “fun and easy way” to make real money by earning points through simply “sharing your opinion.”
Signing up to work with MintVine.com is completely free and only requires an active email address which they will use to send you a confirmation email to set up your account.
In order to finalize your account setup, you simply need to fill out a personal questionnaire consisting of eight questions, but which will better help you receive surveys that you will qualify for. MintVine promises that the information provided in this questionnaire will not be sold for advertising purposes.
How It Works
Market research is an important aspect for companies looking to increase sales by targeting their products to a specific audience and demographic, which is essentially every company that makes money through sales.
Whenever you complete a survey, try a product and create a review, or complete an offer, you will be given a certain number of points. These points can eventually be converted into cash payments.
You will need a minimum of 1000 points to cash out your account – 1000 points is equal to $10. It takes up to two weeks for points to post to your account after you have earned them, but members with PayPal account can withdraw money without delay after the points have been posted.
Is MintVine.com Legit?
MintVine members can sign up for free, which is important because companies should never charge people for the opportunity to take surveys. In addition, their payout minimum of $10 is very reasonable – many companies which pay their members cash have payouts closer to $20 or $25.
Also, MintVine warns their members that while completing offers from companies does offer a high number of points, these offers can sometimes be tricky and may require a credit card number which will be charged if you do not closely follow the rules of the offer.
As long as MintVine.com is reliable when it comes to honoring member payouts, it seems as though they may be a fair company to work with. However, when working with any market research company you will want to keep track of all the work you do for this website, so that you can contact customer service if there is ever an issue with you receiving credit for your work.
I gave Mint Vine a pretty high rating until about 2 days ago. I noticed I had lot of pending surveys and I decided to see if they was paying me for my pending surveys. I sent them a E-mail an told them they need to credit 165 points to my account.
The next day I did not get any surveys from them and I thought that was unusual since I use to get a lot of surveys from them and the points I requested I have NOT received them.
The company was good about paying me but I don't know if I want to stick with them if I have to keep a record of every survey I take.
They have made me question their honesty, and because of this I think I have got to let them go.
Thanks for listening.
Sincerely,
Gregory Radcliffe
Gracias
As someone else stated in these comments, the site is legit, but not as efficient in validating your response quickly.
This site, for me, is mixed.
On the one side: it's REALLY easy for 2 score 5-pointers--you get 5 points even if you don't qualify for 2 complete a survey and that's more than MANY sites give. (some only give sweepstakes entries and I'm on like 6 sites at least)
On the other side: Processing time is SO EFFING SLOOOOOOOW in comparison un2 many--on inboxdollars.com for many surveys I'll get the amount credited within 15-30 mins--when I complete one--Mintvine, again, is SOOOO SLOOOOOW I've wondered if the programmers/techie crew is composed of college amateurs or computer-programmers-in-training.
It shouldn't take 2-3 days for a tech support person to get back un2 an email. Sorry. I DID get a fast response when that I posted un2 their Facebook page.
I'm also concerned that they don't have a physical mail address for contacting them.
However: While they ARE slowpokes (my most recent paypal payment, which should have taken 48 hours, took almost 96 hours--aka four days rather than 2), but once I kvetched I got it and the payments DO show up.
So: In sum: Reliable, but NOT efficient.
Next time i tried logging in and it says the email didn't exist in the database. They deleted my account! its nothing but a scam and Iv'e just had problems with getting paid for all of my surveys
