MySurvey.com

MySurvey.com is the online home of MySurvey, a company that says they want to provide people with a simple and easy way to earn rewards from the comfort of their own home.

MySurvey is a part of the online market research industry, which is one of the oldest and most popular ways to earn money online as it doesn’t really require much time or effort. Participants are simply asked to answer questions about their daily lives, habits, and opinions.

To sign up as a MySurvey.com member, all you have to do is go to their website and fill out their required registration form. Their website says that membership always has been and always will be free.

How It Works

Whenever a new survey or other market research opportunity becomes available that you qualify for, this company will email you. In addition to surveys, this company says that members may be asked to complete product tests or provide product diaries.

None of the activities that are offered to their members should take significant amounts of time or effort, and each activity will be accompanied by an amount of points that you will be awarded once you have completed that task.

This website says that after their members accumulate a certain amount of points, they will be able to redeem for items in the Rewards Catalog. These include e-certificates, gift cards, and vouchers to retailers like Amazon.com.

Are They Legit?

The most important features to look for in an ethical online market research company is that they do not charge their members any fees to join or receive surveys and that they provide their members with a low enough payout minimum that they are actually able to get compensation for their efforts.

MySurvey.com does not charge members any membership fees, but unfortunately they do not appear to provide publicly published information regarding their minimum cash our requirements. This may be because the requirements change over time or simply because customers will simply save their points until they are ready to redeem them for the item they want.

There are some other issues with this company however. Even though they have been around for many years, their customers regularly complain that this company has issues with their IT. Many customers complained that they were in the middle of the survey when it froze or they were otherwise unable to complete it, or that parts of questions or answers in the survey were just missing.

When you have these kinds of issues with a survey, it generally means that you will no longer be able to get credit for taking that survey, which is obviously very frustrating and makes it difficult to earn the points you need to actually receive your compensation for your work.

However, since it is a free service, customers are welcome to sign up for this website and see for themselves whether they have any problems or issues.

  • Ok after not receiving my points for the four surveys I took which are 50 points a survey, add's up to 5 bucks {I could be wrong} I know 1,000 adds up to 10? which is kinda dumb if you ask me. I should have at least earned 54 points by now, but I earned literally 0, so I left. I feel that this place is a total waste of time to sign up for. I was very sketchy about it because I didn't have any information on how I was getting paid, or when. Then I sign up and find out its a point system? That isn't what they make it out to be at all and that's very misleading. I don't necessarily think this is a scam, but it isn't legit either. I should have checked it out before signing up I knew their was something fishy about it. I wanted something to hold me over til I found me a stable job, but heh this is just a waste of time.
  • mysurvey deactivated my account for no reason and took over 5500 points from me. They claimed I did not live up to the terms of their policies. They lied about everything and did not even give one example of what they said I did wrong. They just make stuff up to justify what they do.
  • When I signed up (2014) there were many options for payouts, including cheques. I was active, completed every survey I was invited to complete, I finally made it to $50, went to cash out (Feb 2015), cheque option no longer available, only paypal or gift cards. I do not have a paypal account so I logged out, needed to consider my options. Since then I have never received any survey invitations. Today (May 2015)I tried to login and I can't, "account inactive". I sent them an email but based on what I have read in recent reviews, this has happened to many others and they never receive any response, so I have to conclude that I will never be able to cash out my $50 and my account has been closed. I am disappointed that this turned out to be a SCAM.
  • I've been a member for over 10 years and this has been the best survey site for me. I've cashed out several times now for $100.00 each time. I get more surveys than I have time for, but I've always been please with this site.
  • I saw an Internet a CIS news report about a Riga based mother of two whom had money problems and had joined paid surveys on line. The next thing was how she had gone form nothing to millionaire income working just four hours per day four days per week. This echoed around Latvia and lots of people joined up. I gave it inspection but as soon as they discovered I am a detective they forgot to reply. I discovered however that they charge quite a large sign up fee before any survey comes to you. This smacks of a scam to me as surveys pay so little as one dollar which is less than a Euro per pop. I then looked at the girl and the house and car and saw it never a place known in Riga or beyond. The car had reg details hidden and the photo fond on line is USA printed so I even doubt that the girl with kids is anything other than an actress. As to the CSI NEWS on line article they take on news as supplied. So I rang them saying I had found gold in my garden. They wanted all the details from me so I just placed down the phone. So anyone an place news that way. Sorry but my advice ,stay away from internet scams. None are really that good and a job it is not. Some of them are daylight fraudsters and some even ready to close down your computer with virus if you demand justice and promised payment or just resign.
  • After several attempts, I have been unable to redeem points through this site. Right now I would say it is a scam.
  • I joined MySurvey several years ago. Surveys came on a regular basis and I was allowed to complete them every time. Rewards were sent to me in $10 increments.About 3 or 4 years ago everything changed. I still received surveys on a regular basis, but there was always a reason to shortcut the survey without any pay. Messages like: This survey has already reached the desired number (why was it still offered), What is your age (that is a part of my profile) At times the survey was terminated after serveral minutes (was I not answering the questions as desired?) Worst of all they started taking 150 points every time they sent a check...that's like me paying them. I QUIT.
  • Spam artists. They pay a third party to send the spam, then claim to have nothing to do with it.
  • I had been a member for years and one day I got a threatening email from Carol Adams accusing me of fraud and threatening legal action and then closed my account. I think this was nothing but a witch hunt as I had amassed over 25,000 points. These people are crooks and one day it's going to bite them in the butt. Steer clear of them or you will get burned.
  • I have spent 21/2 hours on a survey completing parts 1&2 half way through part 3 I was getting technical errors 7 emails later still no rewards and all you get back when you send an email is the standard reply Seem to spend a lot of time starting surveys getting 1/2 way through them then getting message cancelling survey with no rewards This company is without doubt one of the worst survey companies online. As I have not received the 1500 polnt reward I am cancelling my membership
