Panda Research is a company that markets itself as a survey panel and claim that they can help their members make extra money. The company is open to all residents of the United States at least 18 years of age with a valid email address.

The difference between Panda Research and other survey sites is that this company provides you with surveys that are linked to company offers and other research studies. Essentially they are an intermediary putting you in contact with a variety of paid offers available online.

How Does Panda Research Work?

Once you register with the company you will be in their database and eligible to receive survey offers. You can login into your account to see what is currently available and you will also receive additional offers via email.

Email offers will contain a login code and links to the site where the survey is offered. Some surveys will contain a pre-screener so you may be asked to answer some basic questions before being approved.

In some cases you may not qualify for their survey, this happens from time to time when the researchers are looking for very specific demographics or requirements for their study. Do not get discouraged and simply try again next time.

The surveys shouldn’t take longer than 10 or 15 minutes. If you are prompted to sign-up for any trial offers of products be sure to read all the fine print. You may be entering a subscription for a continual use of a product after the trial – be sure to read everything first.

Getting Paid:

Panda Research pays out only when you have reached $50 in your account and will subsequently pay you in 50 dollar increments. So you checks will be for $50 or $100 and the remainder will be carried over into the next pay period.

You will be paid via paypal on the 1st or 15th of every month after the 30 day waiting period starting from when you submitted and verified your cashout request.

You can also get paid by referring friends to Panda Research, you will be eligible to earn 10% of their lifetime survey earnings.

Customer Service:

If you would like to unsubscribe from receiving Panda emails you can do so here, http://www.pandaresearch.com/uc?a=st&pt=uns.

If you have other issues you can contact support through their website at http://support.pandaresearch.com/. You will need to have your membership login information.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

Panda Research has been around for many years and in that time has accumulated a large number of customer reviews. Amongst those are many complaints alleging that the company fails to make timely payments and have purposely developed a convoluted payout process to confuse and deter people from pursuing their rewards.

Competitors and Alternatives:

Online surveys are very popular because they offer members a way to make some extra money from home and in their spare time. It’s important to research the companies that you work with to make sure they are a legitimate market research firm and not just an online lead harvester.

  • Well, I read the comment from Andy Sunn and looks like you are a very small minority in this blog.Seems like a lot of people have gotten the run around and I hate to say it but you might just be part of the corp. itself just trying to save face!!
  • Thank u for being honest about this site. I was interested in doing it I had joined but I will surely not waste my time thank you again!!!!!!!!!!
  • I have been with Panda research for over a year and have still not recieved an payments after accumulating over $100.00,so far these payments are still pending
  • i started with panda in 12-07 i did what they asked me to do,im still waiting to get pd for things i did 5 months ago.and to try to contact them is a joke.i havent hit over the 100.00 mark yet but it shows i have done over 500.00 in surveys.what is wrong with that picture.i dont know what else to do i have all the cancelled orders to show them but they say there isint anything they can do untill the company credits your acct for doing there survey.this company should be closed down and warning dont go thru them the rip you off
  • I had been with panda research for about 1 year and I had earned more than $1000.00 and had only $9.00 approved and then out of the blue. No more emails. Did they drop me or becuse I had that much money earned, and they did not want to pay me that they droped me?
  • Apparently, the only way to get paid for their surveys is to accept offers from the businesses the survey is about. I think it's a con.
  • I have been waiting for over 7 months for my payout, has anyone started a class action lawsuit?
  • Thank you for your blog and for others experiences. Panda just sent my first survey but I decided to check it out before even beginning. After reading all these posts, I "unsubscribed" immediately. I'm sorry others have had to find out the hard way but at least you are all telling the rest of us and for this I'm grateful!
  • For starters, I worked my butt off to reach $128. When I requested my payment, I waited two months and than checked the web site to read that holiday times will delay payment (bunch of bull crap). I waited another month and still nothing. I read on the web site that payments will take at least 90 days to be paid (how hard is it to wire to Pay Pal). And than I receive a e-mail from customer support telling me that they tried and called my home, but an answering machine picked it up and so they are unable to verify my account. THAT'S IT! That's all the e-mail said...no alternative solution. I e-mailed customer support saying WTF. They e-mail me again saying just about the same statement...with no solutions. Than I found their business phone number (847) 572-3256 and I talked with a live person who said he would let someone know. I than received another e-mail saying that they would try and call me again (they had better) to verify my account. Since I waited 4 months and was desperate not to get ripped off, I put on my home answering machine a message just for Panda Research. About a couple of weeks later, I received an e-mail telling me that the money has been deposited into my Pay Pal account and sure enough, it was.

I will never use Panda Research again. They are so quick to take you in, but they do not want to pay...just like an insurance company or a lawyer. They will do everything they can to delay/deny your payment and they still benefit from you in the end with all the offers you sign up with.

I am serious thinking about starting a web site against this group and doing everything in my power to bring them down. What do you think?
    • I know this is from 2008 but they just did it to me i been waiting since the beggining of summer and it's not november 26th 2017 and still nothing they only got to 6.49 and still waiting
  • I'm still waiting for my accounts to be approved. I filled out the surveys on 3/21/08 and have only been paid for my two most recent offers.
