  • Thank you everyone for you insight! I was close to signing up for this free credit score to check out a place on craigslist but it seemed VERY FISHY! I'm so glad I did a little bit of research before I actually went through with it!
  • I just got off the phone with one of the customer service agents, I check my bank account and saw that they had a 29.95 charge on my credit card less than 5 minutes after I authorized $1.00 for a free credit report.and she tells me that it was charge because I got the 3 reports, excuse me ,I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THAT WHEN I HAD JUST GOT IT FOR FREE WITH ANOTHER SITE AND SHE SAYS THIS IS A NON REFUNDABLE CHARGE. BEWARE THIS IS A RIP- OFF SITE AND THE CREDIT REPORT WASN'T A SHAM
  • I signed up for a free credit report after 7 days I was billed 59.00 for credit monitoring( Never even found out what that was). The did not give me three scores only one!!1 A total waste of money!!!!
  • This is a major SCAM even if you cancel before your 7 days they will not give you your money back. Once you sign up the next day they charge your card. But will allow you to cancel anytime after they have your money. But better believe they will charge you with misleading information on their website.
  • I also found a rental house that I fell in love with on Craigslist. When I contacted the seller several times she just replied with this link to profinity and said I needed to print off my credit score and wouldn't answer any basic questions. Thankfully I did not fall for this scam! Now she won't respond at all. Her email address is [email protected]. BEWARE!!!
    • [email protected] is most likely a hacked email account.

I got the same profinity scam email from a [email protected]

They all look like accounts belonging to people who have weak passwords.
    • Thank you!

I just got the same response from that person.

The apartment on the cregslist was a good deal to me.

But when the mail says to print out the credit score from the site, I feel

Suspicious. And I find out this site. There was a nice house in irvine. I drove by this morning.

I found out the owner is in missionary in nigeria, Africa requesting the payment by western union!

      So many scams! Gee!
  • They say their trial is a 7 day trial, but it is only Six, They bill at midnight on the 7th day. If you are goin to cancel, you must do it on day 6.
  • Yeah I got one for a job as well.. the name on my email reads Joan Wells. Glad to see I wasn't the only she contacted for a job... Back to square one... What a bluff
  • This place is a joke. I been waiting to receive my money from them, since the beginning of april and still have, yet to see one dime. I am advice you to NEVER do the free trial offer. It is a scam and they will take your money in a heart beat. I am very pissed off and they will tell you anything in the book to not give you back your refund. I am writing a report to the BBB and FTC about this company, and hope they will NEVER be able to do business again.
    • Can u post # for the bbb & ftc so all of us can do the same. So sorry u got took plz read my review...!!!! We all got to report these scum bags!!!
  • Total scam...zero stars...i'd go into more detail but everyone else said it better. Don't do it!!!
  • This company is the epitome of a referral scam. The old bait and switch. The most offensive thing about them is how they pretend to not know that's what they are. They will argue with you and defend their credibility to no end.

The only reason they are in business is because day after day people fall for their "free" offers and the job and real estate scams their affiliates post on craigslist, and they know it! I don't know how these people sleep at night. Every day they are the cause of frustration, anger and all-around emotional pain for hundreds of people. Hundreds of people who had no idea what they were signing up for and wake up one day with no money in their account because "PRO*CREDIT" straight up jacked them.

Honestly, if you ACTUALLY want the "services" Profinity offers (which no one does) then you must be an idiot, so go right ahead. Otherwise, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
