Since 2000 the company has been finding creative ways to ensure that their customers can benefit from various income streams. What started out as a small online rewards club has grown into a large media company.

The idea is to reward its members for doing stuff that you’d normally be doing online. Activities along the lines of reading emails, taking surveys, playing games and signing up for offers.

How Does SendEarnings Work?

The company has partnered with large companies that want to get their ads and products in front of as many people as possible. They are also looking for feedback on where and how they can improve.

SendEarnings gets paid to setup these large scale campaigns and in return for your participation rewards you with cash. To date they claim to have paid out $35 million dollars to their members.

The goal for these types of companies is to create a mutually beneficial situation in which the advertiser gets motivated consumers who in return get paid.

The company is currently offering a $5 sign up bonus that you will receive after registering with the site. Afterwards you will have a variety of ways in which to participate, such as:

Surveys – Standard online questionnaires in which you will get paid to share your opinions regarding a variety of shopping habits and other current issues.

Watch Videos – simply watch their recommended content, topics range from food to technology.

Games – SendEarnings offers free games and ones that let you compete for cash prizes as well.

Shopping and Cash Offers – Use the website portal to find deals on items you wish to buy and save through their coupons, deals, and even receive free samples.

You need to earn at least $30 before you can request a payout. There is also a $3.00 processing fee.

Customer Service:

If you need support you can reach out to the company through their online help desk and contact form. They also have a helpful tutorial and FAQ section on the website.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

Although the company maintains an A+ rating with the BBB you can find a range of complaints online. The majority of issues come from users believe that SendEarnings has terminated their account just as they reached the cash out level.

These complaints are difficult to verify as only the company knows if the users where violating their terms of agreement.

Other complaints mention issues with not qualifying for the online surveys. This is a common issue and applies to all online market research companies. Survey providers use pre-screeners to build a survey panel of exact demographics they are researching.

Meaning they need a select group of people with specific traits and they use the screeners to find them and that you will not qualify for every survey you apply for.

Competitors and Alternatives:

There are several popular companies along with several sister sites that use the same business model. This includes SwagBucks, InboxDollars, and FusionCash.

  • i have been with send earnings for years, i have cashed out for gift cards before but the last time when i needed just a couple of dollars to reach the $40 i didn't have any surveys or videos and when i finally reach enough and asked for a check the same day i was suppose to get approved they terminated my account due to violations of terms, which i don't understand why because i used the same computer always. i have sent emails and 3 months later nobody has answered my emails.
  • Be very careful everything you type and click because you can and will get identity theft and payday loan scams off their affiliate ads!!
  • Are you freaking kidding there the worst of the worst just like there sister site inboxdollars.
  • I see that these reviews are very old. I have been paid twice. Approx. $85.00. Yes, it does take time but it is exactly what i expected. There are about 6 ways of earning. I use all. When you cash out, they do take a $3 fee off. But they credit you $3 when you start again. It does get frustrating when I don't qualify for some surveys. But this is not the only site that i use. NOT going to get rich but if your patient, you do get paid.
  • I have already cashed out twice, yes it takes some time but after the first time its 30 to cash out. If you sign up for offers or would purchase some of the products anyway you can go more quickly to the goal of 30. Its great for a little extra cash .. Thanks send earnings
  • I just finished a survey from Sendearnings. Got thru the qualifying and went forward what I thought was the survey. It was a survey about future purchasing of a vehicle and what brands I would consider buying. Answered about thirty questions and boom, all of a sudden didn't qualify. All those questions and no reward. This just doesn't smell right. This is why I rarely do surveys. Last week went back to Inbox dollars after a long pause, wanted to see if they had change their cheating practices. Did a couple surveys but I didn't get compensated for every one.So I tho they may not be a scam but they know how to get away with some things legally that makes it hard for anyone to prove. And if you have to buy things to get a monetary credit, whats the sense of trying to make money if your pouring it back into all these unwanted products. Just my unsolicited opinion. But right now I am not too happy with these two companies.By the way it says when you open emails you get between three cents and ten cents? All these years I have only gotten 2cents per email.
  • SendEarnings is a complete scam. You will get close to the $30 redemption, then they stop sending you opportunities to earn. There will also be no surveys to complete.

After 6 months pass of no opportunities they will close your account for "inactivity" insuring they never have to pay you anything.
  • I feel Sendearnings warrents a scam warning. Takes way too long to earn and not sufficient warning if they are going to close your account. Actually had participated but was told there was not record. this is not one I would advise anyone to participate in.
  • I've been a member for years. I've been stuck at $17 and never been able to earn a penny in the past 3 years. All that time wasted is all I think when it comes to sendearnings
  • Although this is a legit company, it is NOT worth your time. You make so little money, that your time would be better spent clipping coupons. Unless, of course, you're actually willing to complete all the big offers (loan applications, signing up for services). A lot of times, you only get the credit if you do not cancel services/subscriptions until after the trial period is up. My biggest annoyance is that with some of the surveys, the qualification questions will last 10 or 15 minutes, sometimes longer, and then they say you do not qualify for the survey so you get paid nothing. I recently spent about 20 minutes answering questions about alcohol brands, which seemed like a normal survey, only to end up saying I didn't qualify. I felt robbed. They definitely got a lot of information out of me without having to pay.

Anyway, when I hit $30, I found out there was a $3 charge to get my money. Complete nonsense in my book. They did offer to drop the fee if I reached $40 in 30 days, so that's what I am currently working on. Just a couple more dollars to go, then I will cash out and say so-long.

I would not recommend this to anyone, unless you just plan on opening e-mails and over the course of 3 years, then you can get a $30 check in the mail...well $27 after fees.

    In conclusion, boooooo this company!
